Very comfortable beds, with extra pillow available. The extra bed had already been set up for us and we even had enough mugs/glasses for all four of us, which is the first time we have seen such details in a 'chain' hotel. Well done Ramada!

It might have just been the evening rush, and the early morning, but we found the receptionist to be a little bit grumpy. The staff on the whole got the job done, they were friendly, but they seemed tired. It may be, like most hospitality jobs, there are few staff carrying a lot and it's worn them out a bit. We would stay again, so it's not super off-putting, but if you NEED a cheery friendly smiley greeter and breakfast host, you may not enjoy the practical, kind, and efficient nature of the Ramada staff.

Everything you need. Very comfortable and very good value for money

We took our Pup. Who got a little bit of anxiety for the first night, we left to get dinner in the services where dogs are not allowed to had to leave the pup. He wined and barked for the first 5-10 mins but then calmed down when left. We were gone for about an hour. There was a complaint and we were told not to leave him alone. I didn’t like how they ‘bowed’ down to one other person due to a loud short occurrence which is understandable. And DID NOT happen again. Other than that, totally welcome to dogs.

Convenient location to break my journey. Clean rooms. The breakfast was excellent- proper bread for toast, not your normal cheap Sliced loaf; good quality bacon. Food set out well. Tables cleaned as soon as someone left. Lovely welcome from staff member on duty. Lots of eateries at the service station for a meal or to buy a sandwich

The reception area could be improved- doesn’t make you want to stay when you walk in! Mattress not very comfortable- I think it would help to turn it 180 degrees! Or preferably buy a new one. It’s not easy to navigate the exit from Motorway to the hotel, especially if driving alone- just be extra vigilant - I almost ended up back in the motorway again!

Convenient for my needs dining room has been changed to now overlook the car park. The previous location overlooking fields and parkland was quite relaxing not so with current location. Understand decision of area manager perhaps he should have asked some clients for their opinion !!

See previous note put it in wrong box. Position of dining room not as good as previously. I have used this hotel on several occasions and I am planning to use more in future as convenient for work I feel the area manager making this decision in my opinion as a fairly regular user, wad WRONG .

This was an exception and unexpected stay. Great value for money but what shocked me was the quietness of the room, they ultra helpful and friendly staff. They went above and beyond. Very clean and well presented room. Honestly I recently stayed overnight in a hotel that had 4 stars and it was VERY expensive and it was dirty, noisy and they beds uncomfortable. That expensive hotel could learn alot fro m this one. Well done provide good quality accommodation at a reasonable price and employ fantastic staff :)

Honestly I could not fault my stay.

Absolutely great little hotel very very nice very good staff as well very accommodating to the issue... I had a terrible terrible.. Flu that had just started up and I had no one and desire to stay in London any longer... Even though they didn't refund me the money because it's strictly said there was no refund they were happy to change the date... Which was a massive massive... Help.. I can't thank the Ramada enough... And this is not the first Ramada on a motorway that has given me exceptional assistance and help

Nothing much to say to be very honest.. Obviously it's not the Ritz... But simple fact of the matter is what you're paying you get a. Very good experience

This was a last minute booking for work. The price was excellent and the location spot on. I was worried what noise I might hear from the M25, or from the lorry and bus parking area my room fronted on to but the soundproofing was excellent. I ended up with a family room which was huge. The lighting was good with different settings and the heating/air con was easy to control. The bathroom was well equipped Having the services next door meant there were plenty of food options round the clock.

Nothing - would definitely stay again.

We needed a stop over for an early morning flight at Gatwick. We booked a family room. It was well priced and excellent value for money. The facilities are basic, but above what you would expect for a hotel at a motorway service station. The staff were excellent, the family room was big and spotlessly clean. However, what really pleased us was the late check out (11.00) We awoke to find our flight was delayed by 4 hours. The late check out meant that we could stay in the room with the kids, have a lie in and not be stressed. The proximity to Gatwick meant that as soon as we knew we had a confirmed departure time it was only 30 mins to get the car parked. All round excellent.

There was nothing that stood out as being off or out of place. Obviously this is a hotel at a motorway service station (though you can get to it without using the M25) so it's pretty functional. The bar area is small and quite impersonal and the restaurant was very stark - but the breakfast was perfectly acceptable for £10 a head (kids eat free). Coffee was horrendous but then it nearly always is! Pop next door to Starbucks.

I was impressed with the friendliness of the staff at check-in and at breakfast. The room was modern and well-furnished, little touches such as the USB sockets and iron and ironing board were very welcome. The bed was large and comfortable.

The room could have been cleaned better, dust and dead bugs by the headboard were a little off putting. Across three nights, towels were not replaced and tea/coffee not refreshed either. However, the reception staff were happy to provide these on request.

Clean, comfortable. Welcoming staff and although it's in a services such a peaceful relaxing stay! Stayed in a family room and had a perfect amount of space for the 4 of us! Would recommend and if I ever needed to stay in the area again would definitely come back!!! Random but I also loved the amount of light settings there were which meant whilst the boys slept we could have a dim light on to continue watching telly and reading!
