loved everything about the hotel. location is good, the room is great, it’s clean and smells good which is very important to me. beds are comfortable, the toilets even have a bidet! i would definitely recommend this hotel as it’s value for money. they don’t have many rooms which is a plus point so the hotel won’t be crowded at any time. i didn’t manage to try the breakfast which is a bummer but it was served at the area near the lobby. there’s a mini mart beside the hotel and a cafe opposite the hotel. i would definitely return.

i love everything

Beautifully furnished spacy room with everything you need during a trip, including slippers, robe, a little fridge and tea maker. Check in and check out was easy and the hotel arranged transfer for us. Personnel is helpful and friendly. The breakfast was very very good, a lot of local baked goods, vegetables, eggs, and great coffee. Overall we were very pleased and can recommend this hotel!

It was difficult to get in and out of the tub to shower. It was a little bit too dark in the room, we wish there was more light near the entrance. There is no view from the room as it is in the ground floor and the hotel is surrounded by a concrete wall

Staying here as a student studying abroad and traveling Central Asia, I found that the location was perfect for walking the main avenue, as it's right next to the hotel. The room was very big and was nice to just relax in after exploring. The front desk manager could not have been nicer, I speak Russian somewhat well but she really had patience with me and always had a smile.

I think the most underwhelming was the shower. In all honesty, I knew that while traveling central asia the shower and bathroom situation wouldn't be the best but it was kinda tricky to navigate, but the shower was nice once you figured it out.

Bugu Hotel is very warm and welcoming. The staff especially Ulara goes out of her way to help you. Bar man Dhustan is excellent and makes good sunny side up. Zhibak was kind to give me an upgrade while Argea always had a smile next to his face. The breakfast spread is good. There is a mini market just next door to the hotel where you can get your wines, vodka, cognac and other necessities. This hotel has about only 13 rooms and all located on the ground floor of an apartment block.

The hotel has excellent location in the very center but far enough from the noisy streets. My room was spacious, beds are very comfortable. It’s also very convenient to have a large table so you can easily work in your room if you need to (btw WIFi is also very good and accessible both in lobby and rooms). Breakfast is indeed exceptional! I stayed for 3 night and every morning there was something new.

Only couple of minor things actually: To my taste rooms are too dark, there are no lamps on the ceiling so even if you turn on all the light the atmosphere remains pretty intimate. Bathroom facilities are not quite new and some pieces are not well maintained, for example toilet in my room was leaking. Probably the only thing that really annoyed me was the smell of the fridge! It was like somebody kept there a smoked meat for a very long time.

The hotel design is really interesting. Hotel breakfast was tasty. You receive egg based meal by your choice , but be advised to came early because at the end of the breakfast there can be not enough food on buffet. The hotel is located near the city center you can easily reach it by walking. There were bathroom robs and all needed single use items as slippers and washing cosmetics.

The room was not really clean, there was a dust on furniture and decorative wall behind bed. Bedclothes was a bit damaged. Water was going out really bad in shower, perhaps drainage was clogged.

We liked the room, the bathroom (both clean) and the breakfast which was quite diverse and good-tasting. The location is also good and the staff helpful.

If I'd be picky, I'd say the smell of dampness/mould in the bathroom shower and the fact that it was a bit difficult to communicate with some of the staff because of their English skills.

We enjoyed our too-short stay at Bugu. We stayed one night at the beginning and end of our week in Kyrgyzstan; 6/22 & 6/29/24. The staff were friendly and Super Helpful. The rooms were spotless, modern and very comfortable. Nice amenities. We missed the breakfast both mornings but it looked great. The location was good for wandering, finding restaurants and shopping.

Large rooms with comfortable beds and plenty of facilities. Location is good, as it’s in between the bazar and city center. Breakfast food was okay.

The bathroom was missing a mirror and shower door (both had been there). Not enough toilet paper was in the room. Breakfast area has a strange lay out.

A very comfortable place to stay. I arrived late at night and was warmly welcomed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast options are sufficient, without being overwhelming. From the hotel I was able to walk to many of the attractions in central Bishkek.

During my stay there was no WIFI or TV, although I have the impression that this may have been a temporary problem.
