This hotel was an amazing surprise. The best triple room we've ever stayed in, it is actually like a suite because you have 2 rooms inside the bigger one separated by a door, one with a double bed and another with a sigle one, both with TV, desk, wardrobe and etc. We enjoyed very much. Everything was clean and cozy, the heater was working perfectly, and the staff was very kind. Although it is not located in the historic center, it is very close to the Gare and with several transport options in less then 5 min distance, including the airport bus. Besides, they kept our luggage both before the check in and after the check out. It was a really good stay.

I loved the location of the hotel. Staff were verry friendly and helpfull. Everything is whitin walking distance from the hotel and that way you could explorer Luxembourg by foot. Even though there where some construction work going on that didn't spoil the fun to be in Luxembourg.

There is nothing I can say that I didn't like about my stay in City Hotel. Everything was just perfect and we have enjoyed our stay over there verry much! Even on the Luxembourg Mother's day there was a little present for us waiting in our room. Verry thoughtfull

City Hotel is the cleanest and most well run hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled extensively. Location was a couple of minutes from the excellent (and free) public transport and 15 mins from the ‘haute ville’, Corniche, Petrusse, Notre Dame - the list is endless. Restaurants galore and plenty of public toilets (also very clean and most free). Rooms - spacious, plenty of storage, fantastic shower with hot water on demand, comfortable bed, fridge, safe, tea, coffee and water. Staff - all friendly and lovely. Breakfast - hot buffet for €19 or croissant, juice and coffee/tea for €8 - all delicious. Owners and staff obviously have pride in their hotel and every effort made to ensure a pleasant stay.

The hotel staff is very friendly. The room is nicely furnished, very quiet, even though the hotel is on a busy street, - good sound isolation. Beds very comfy. The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. But best of all is the location of the hotel: close to the main station (gare centrale) with public traffic in all directions throughout the city and the country. And is completely free! Free trains, buses, trams ... We were most impressed by the tram in Lux. city: modern, fast, every 2 minutes!

The location is convenient. It's a 3-4 minute walk from the main train station and an easy walk to downtown Luxembourg. There are 5+ grocery stores on the same street and plenty of restaurants nearby. The WiFi is excellent. The shower is hot with good pressure. The A/C works well. And you have good views of the street below.

The space in the room, bathroom, and bed are all small. There are no real amenities to speak of (just WiFi and 24-hour reception desk). Street noise can be a bit loud during the weekdays (mostly on the lower floors), especially with all the construction in the area.

All the staff are super friendly and approaching.... So convenient because it's near the train station,trams,banks and restaurants.... I never had a good night sleep the first night in any hotels., But in this hotel i slept so good and comfortable it has good sound insulation so even though it's in a busy place it's still quiet in our room... The hotel looks so new or maybe newly renovated... It's clean and it doesn't smell like old furniture. We are happy with our stay.. i would recommend it,..

Perfect location just next to the train station, outside the train station there are bus and tram, super convenient to city center. Room is bigger than I expected and very clean. The reception nice and helpful.

One thing has to mention, the shower is in the bathtub, and it was a high bathtub, when I step in after my husband showered it was slippery and I fell down and made my knee hurt. Not too big issue but city hotel has to think and maybe find a better way because if customer fall down and hurt head or somewhere it will be big problem for both customer and hotel. Even young people happened to fall down the older people will be more difficult to step in the high tub . Other facilities are perfect.

The rooms are recently renovated , clean and spacious The location is perfect for exploring the city, very well connected with public transport and close to the train station. The car parking is not far and easily accessible, good to check the exact location of the parking with the hotel before your arrival and we paid 18 EUR/day for parking which is not bad.

we had to pay for a crib 15 EUR/night which already mentioned, so we know in advance but we still don't like it. The neighbourhood is very shady, Its not safe for solo female travellers, drug dealers are lurking next to the parking , it doesn't feel safe at all

Luxembourg is pricey so we opted to stay near the train station at this hotel. No regrets. The hotel is steps away from the free tram that gets you near all the sights but you can also easily walk. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Room was a decent size and bathroom was quite large. Everything was in working order and clean. Breakfast provided was plentiful and they even had a bottle of Crémant for mimosas. We really loved the city and wished we were able to stay longer...when we return we will not hesitate to rebook this hotel.

Entire street was gutted by construction at the time of our visit but this is not the Hotel's fault it simply made getting there by car and walking in a bit challenging but no big deal. There are a few sketchy characters in the area but I find that to be true near train stations in any city. Never felt unsafe.
