As a woman solo traveler, it was one of the best customer service experice I had! I normally appreciate modern design, but this hotel was a great surprise for my eyes, with a classical design with carpets and ornaments. Besides, the staff is very receptive and helpful, and assured a very fast check-in with clear instructions. The hotel's wi-fi works excellently. The room and toilet are very clean, and quiet. The breakfast is excellent for those who do not have dietary restrictions. A potential drawback for those requiring more space is the size of the room I was assigned, which was rather compact. However, it was enough for circulation and to accommodate a carry-on suitcase. Additionally, the window faced the back, thus, there was no view to speak of. But if this doesn't bother you, you'll have a very pleasant stay.
The area surrounding the accommodation might not be the most comfortable for a solo woman traveler. It's located near a red-light district, with many men staying outside. However, I felt that it's generally safe to walk around during the daytime. As with any urban environment, it's important to remain vigilant and aware of your surroundings.

Nice hotel next to the train station. It was very clean and the staff was very friendly. Breakfast is good and for such a small hotel a lot of variety. Also the hotel bar for a drink in the evening was very nice. Old fashioned interior with antiques.
Bathroom had a shower but nothing to put the soap in the shower cabin - we had to please soap and razors on the floor if the cabin. The parking garage was not available because there were roadworks, but we were not informed and had to park the car at the train station parking garage. The area is not so safe at night with drug dealers and prostitutes just on the streets behind the hotel.

There is a very nice guy in the reception called Gianni, he relates every customer with a personal approach and special treatment.
There was a little water on the floor under the sink in room 407. Also in the area of the hotel, there are some drug dealers wandering around.

Location was great for the proximity to the city center and the train station. There was a delicious Indian restaurant in front of the hotel. The check-in personnel, was a sweet and gentle grandpa! At first we arrived at around 1:30pm and he immediately said, you're too early for check-in. What's great is they have a nice lobby area with cool infused water so we were able to stay in the lobby for a bit. Around 2pm we were allowed to check-in. The hotel is so quirky in its design and cozy, it's only a 10-minute walk to the city center. We loved our stay!
Location made it difficult to look for parking. There were a lot of road works around the area and it was difficult to manouver around with the car. Just park at the train station, then it's easier and it's a 10minute walk to the hotel.

The room is quite big with enough space. Bed is also quite big and comfortable. Everything was super clean. The hotel looks old and it has old-fashioned atmosphere and vibes - like staying somewhere in the past. Staff is super friendly and kind. Noise cancelation between rooms is good - we barely heard anyone else from the other rooms. Location is close to the train station.
There are a lot of noise from the street even early morning or late evening. With closed window it’s a bit better, but when it’s warm outside - it is hard to keep it closed. I also asked for a quiet room when booking - but I think it was one of the noisiest. I could barely sleep during the night. Extra money are charged for the dog (I assume for extra cleaning) - but no amenities for the dog were provided, usually with charging extra for a pet hotels also provide extra amenities like bows for food and water. The hotel inside looks super nice, but the room itself could use a bit of renovation. Location is good , but there are road works next to it which adds a lot of noise and sadly outside it looks like there’s a ghetto next to it sometimes

We loved the hotel. A traditional hotel with great service, lovely staff and clean rooms. The breakfast was great too. Madame Jeannette , next door was a nice dinner choice as well. We particularly liked the senior aged gentleman who looked after us. Such an asset to the hotel. The location is close to the free tram which takes you to the city centre. An easy walk from the station, if travelling by train. The reception staff speak several languages. A great stay. Thank you.

This is a very classy hotel. Exceptionally clean and well maintained. The rooms are cozy and comfortable. The bathroom in my room with its blue coloured ambience looked very beautiful. The breakfast served is very nice, with a sense of homely touch added as the lady in charge serves freshly prepared scrambled eggs at the table, along with a wide selection of other items available on the menu. The old gentleman at the reception counter was very friendly and funny too, adding another touch of personal warmth to the experience. The hotel is located within 2 mins of the Luxembourg Central Station and is well connected by various means of transport. The old city of Luxembourg is a comfortable 15 min walk away. There are several restaurants in the neighbourhood for meals, including a Burger King that stays open till late at night.

Everything was wonderful. Not only is this a historic hotel (there's a plaque out front), it's beautifully cared for. It looks deceiving from outside, but once you are inside it is full of character and comfort. The sitting room off the lobby is very turn-of-the-century "Belle Epoque" design and we were greeted by the kindest and most helpful gentleman behind the reception desk. The hallways and stairwells and decorated with art and historic things that really add to the character! The rooms were cozy and very comfortable. I had an amazing night of sleep! The floorboards were a bit creaky but, oddly, it added to the charm of the room. The breakfast looked good, but we didn't partake as we had early plans downtown. Location was great - next to the main train station and two stops on the very clean (and free) tram to the Place Hamilius in the downtown. I would definitely stay here again!
This is not the hotel's fault but one should know that aircraft departing/approaching the airport fly low and loud over this part of town. I think they stopped around 11pm and started promptly at 6am. It was a bit loud in the room every ten minutes or so. There was a live band in the restaurant. Looked fun but we were too tired to go down and watch. The courtyard rooms may experience noise from the restaurant but it ended around 1030-1100pm. This was on a Friday night.

The reception staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. The breakfast while fairly basic with cooked eggs was enhanced by the ambiance of the breakfast room. There are a variety of eateries in walking distance and the tram line is a short block away providing easy access to Luxembourg sights. Luxembourg station is just 250 m. A secure car park is availble there for 20 euro/24hr. The hotel has a classic hotel vibe (it opened in the 1932) but it has been updated to modern standards.
The Wi-Fi was not the best. It was serviceable but the signal in my room which overlooked Rue de Strasbourg was weak.

Great staff, especially the guy on reception. Location was very good, just 5 minutes walk from the main station (Gare Centrale) from where you could get trains / buses / trams (and remember that all public transport in Luxembourg is free, so very easy to get around). Comfortable room. Breakfast was ok/sufficient (could have done with a few more options). Free pastries and a water dispenser available from the ground floor reception area. If you have a late flight home, then you can leave your luggage in the dining room and do some more sightseeing, or just relax in a cosy lounge area while you wait to depart.
We had a kettle in the room, and some tea/coffee bags. But unfortunately no milk or creamers are provided, so unless you like black tea or black coffee, this didn't work for us. Also, there is an in room safe, but ours (in room 110) did not work, even after we were given a key for it by the maintenance guy. So we ended up having to carry all our valuables around town whenever we went out, slightly inconvenient. Hopefully this is properly fixed now.
