I had an amazing stay at Else hotel, it is near the entrance of Petaling Street Market. From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome and cared for. The room was cozy, with a bed so comfortable I didn’t want to get up,but the incredible, healthy, and delicious breakfast they provided made it worth waking up for. Even the security was exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting me with an online order during my stay. On my last day, as I had to check out at 6 am, the staff made sure I had a takeaway breakfast ready,such thoughtful service! Overall, this place exceeded my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to my next visit. Highly recommend it!

My ratings are : 9.5/10 Interior Design : As a creative designer & a photographer, I personally love the interior design and structural building of Else Kuala Lumpur. Every designs you can find in the property is minimal and they have always keeping it clean. Great wall color contrast and soft lighting throughout the lobby area and dining area. The room is extra-ordinary. Their designs are spectacular and made it feels more like home. I personally liked their taste of choosing simple things like adding good quality bluetooth speakers with wireless charging, high quality TV, THE BED & pillow is super comfort, artistic cups, good quality body wash/ shampoo & good quality slippers. Breakfast : Breakfast is rated 10/10, usually as we known are buffets, but in Else, we are served with fruit platters, Starters, Main course & your choice of Coffee. Its a different experience, and the portion are handled perfectly enough for a breakfast, so I won't have that bad habit of taking/having too much portion than I could consume. Location ; The best feeling of staying in a hotel is the MRT public transport is just a few minutes walking distance. This really add up some bonus points. For me, I just want to avoid traffic jam/ get to the destination on time. Located in the center of the city, walking around the street nearby for some book stores, coffee, 7-E, Night street food market, and Cafe & Bars. Staff Hospitality : You will be welcomed and greeted by the team of the staff in Else, at anytime and everyone! They will politely ask you is everything ok with the facilities & services, and if you needed anything, their respond is immediate. They give it to you right away. I personally like how they explain everything to you CLEAR AND EASY to understand. You can really feel their teamwork is at excellent level. We even get to meet the GM during our breakfast, which is very nice.

There's only a few things to take note for travelers Parking : Yes, if you travelled by car (own transport) you will have difficulties to look for a space to park your car. Of course, there are several Chargeable Car Park available, but do take note that not every is attended for 24 hours. You can find free car park but be caution for securities issues that may have occur. Please approach the receptionist or hotel team to assist you in this matter. Bring an Umbrella. The complimentary water bottle is nice because its filled in a glass bottle, I really like that. Just be really careful while opening the sealed-cap, you'll be fine after you've learned the technique on how to open it without breaking the seal off.

The whole experience was exceptional. Staff were extremely helpful and facilities were amazing.

One thing only, our main meal at breakfast was brought to the table before our starter had finished. The waiter took my empty plate before my partner had finished her breakfast. Some say efficient, I say good manners. I should have refused waiter but didn’t.

The hotel is located in a great vibrant area. The room is amazing with a wonderful bathroom and we had the best soup for breakfast! Thank you for having us!

My stay at Else Hotel was my best one so far! It’s clean, its new, its grand. It’s calm, its relaxing and not to mention the decorations the interior was beautiful. I stayed for 4 nights in the Mantra room, and it was just nice for a single person. I had the meeting room to study and work, it was cosy, quiet and conducive. I loved it so much. I had the breakfast there everyday and it was immaculate. Ordered the mango yoghurt pudding granola thingy and I was hooked on it and repeated the same order every morning ! Else Hotel, if you could send me the recipe for that at shiuyin1030@hotmail.co, that would be amazing. I have been trying to replicate the dish at home and I just could not get it right. The chicken pokey ball dish I ordered for room service was heaven too, the chicken was made sous vide style i believe, then charred, was the best best combination to the entire dish. I really had a good time. Definitely will come back. <3

We felt so well looked after at Else KL. The staff was exceptional, always addressed us with our names and did everything they could to make our stay memorable and were happy to chat and recommend places to see and eat at. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the room super comfortable with really nice touches. The food for breakfast was incredible and we are sad we missed out on having dinner there (but there are also many really amazing restaurants right around the corner, so it's hard to choose!). The location was perfect, super central to all the sights in Chinatown and also nearby train stations which makes it easy to get around. I really wish we could have stayed longer, but we already had a flight booked. Our stay at Else was the perfect ending to a 10 week South East Asia Trip.

A very chic, modern and clean boutique hotel nestled in the bustling Petaling Street area. I really like the interior design and the use of high quality materials. The room is equipped with latest gadgetry and everything can be done via a tablet. Since it is in a old building, I adore the high ceiling and the room feels airy. The bed is comfortable but slightly on the softer side for both mattress and pillows. Room is equipped with Dyson hairdryer and a large smart TV. The bathroom is very clean as well. The best part about the hotel is the hospitality and we feel at home as the staffs are very warm and friendly. Definitely feels like a 5 star hotel. There is a library and a small conference room which is convenient for business travellers. The gym is clean and simple equipments can be found for some light workouts. There are a pool and a bar on the 4th floor but we didn’t had time to try them. The Raw Kitchen has a nice furnishing with modern contemporary design. Food is wonderful especially the Tuna Tartare and Black Mamba. Breakfast on the other hand is à la carte only.

There is no carpark available on the property and there is an open car park just 3 minutes walk from the hotel. I would highly recommend to spare the headache of driving to the hotel and opt for taxi or private hailing instead. It is expensive for an open air car park. Also, the room has no chair and only a sofa for the Urban room. Wish they can have a chair so that it will be easier to get some work done in the room or getting ready with makeup.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Else Hotel, and I cannot praise it enough. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. Their warmth and attentiveness truly made our stay special. The breakfast at Else Hotel was fantastic, offering a variety of delicious options to start the day right. Our room was impeccably clean, beautifully furnished, and even featured a Dyson hairdryer, which was a lovely touch. One of the highlights of our stay was how the hotel celebrated my birthday. They surprised us with a charming decoration and a delicious birthday cake, which made the occasion even more memorable. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY RECOMMEND Else Hotel for an outstanding experience. Loved the hospitality from the staff! Jimmy, the concierge and Aleia at the reception were amazing helping my friend and I get checked in. After having an unpleasant stay at another hotel we quickly checked out and made a reservation at the Else. We were promptly greeted by Jimmy and escorted to the reception where Aleia helped check us into our room. The room was bright and esthetically nice. The salt water pool was great for the hot days and just taking a break from walking around the city. The location is perfect with a 5 minute walk (if that) to the central market and Chinatown just around the corner. Lots of food and shopping options nearby. They were even able to accommodate a half day rate for us to be able to use the room into the evening as our flight was late at night.

We did order some drinks and snacks while at the pool and it did take a little long to get that but it wouldn’t stop me from staying here again.

The fitout of this extensive hotel conversion is divine and exceptional. Lots of pocket of spaces to discover and appreciate.

The property couldn't find my Booking.com reservation, was told on arrival the hotel was fully booked. We had a moment of shock as we booked way in advance and had confirmations and reminders from Booking.com. (Have never encountered this experience with all previous Booking.com reservations). Maybe worthwhile to update room description that there are no triple rooms or extra (roll in) bed available, all rooms are made for 2 pax. However we were able to book for 3 pax on Booking.com. It came as a surprise that the third person had to sleep on the sofa (not a pull out bed), the inclusive breakfast was only for 2 guest, even though we made the room booking for 3 pax, had to pay extra in the end.
