Room size was reasonable for price we paid. Location was excellent as it was almost in the middle of the town.

Breakfast was adequate though quality of food is a little short of my standard. eg. thosai was not fragrant at all - maybe should be "prepared to order" instead of precooked like other dishes (especially curries). There was no "chutney" (with grated coconut, some spices/chilli) to accompany. A curry was provided but not as authentic as chutney. Another eg omelette can be prepared to order, as the pre-cooked ones loose flavour easily. "Birscher muesli" was one of the varieties of yoghurts offered but is a misnomer. There was no rolled cereals as part of the dish; only shredded vegetables. So I was disappointed.

Don’t be fooled! A lot of people on here will tell you it’s a 5 minute walk to the shopping centre. I packed my comfortable walking shoes and prepared to do a bit of road walking in Malaysia. In fact, this hotel is right across the road from the shopping centre. I timed myself from the moment I left the doors of the hotel until I walked in the doors of the shopping centre - 78 seconds! Granted there was a slight shuffle as I had to cross the road and not get hit but I doubt it affected my timings too much. There you have it, the truth about how far the Zenith Hotel is from the East Coast Mall. And the hotel was quite nice too.

Check in took longer than probably should have.

Breakfast was superb and location is so great

I have requested for late check out and no smoking room: 1. I was given a smoking room (cannot take the smell), call reception, wait in tge smoking room till get a new room. 2. I have requested a late check out even during booking online. I guess, nobody read it at all. Was told during check in that to check out by 12 noon. Dont even talk that, "we will let you know your late check out request later".... means nobody read my request. The next moning at 7 am before going to work, I ask again at the reception about the late check out... was told to check out at 12 noon.... still means nobody read my request and even my verbal request was not entertain... just said, "our apology that the hotel is totally full, we cant allow late check out today"

The big rooms and friendly staff near the main door. The breakfast curry noodles is very nice and the nasi lemak.

We usually go for breakfast at 930, not much pastries and fruits left and I don't see replenishment. Pancakes and waffles were cold. Maybe need to get those heater which i see in other hotels Guess if u bring kids and want them to enjoy breakfast, wake up early at 7am or just go opposite to the mall for more. There are Starbucks and a few cafes opposite. Otherwise I think the selection is good enough for adults

I think the front desk staff some of them need to be improved and have some simple courtesy . example one of the guest was talking to the front desk staff so out of sudden the guest stepped out from the counter the guest wanted to check with her friends about something so the counter was clear at the moment the front desk staff was waiting for the answer from the guest and the I was standing in front of the counter and the staff did not even have an eye contact to talk to me and say sorry Sir I will attend to you shortly. she just simply turn her “blind eye” as if I am invisible. I hope this can be improved so that the guest wont feel piss off. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding. Best regards

I took the family suites..the size of the room is big suitable for family Breakfast is great and always the reason I choose this hotel to stay at

The room and the master bed has a very unpleasent scent and smell of cigarette smoke. I am also upset I cannot requst for late checkout just so that I can perform my Salah before I travel back to KL..it may not be allowed in principal but I feel like some consideration should be in place..otherwise I should be dealing with machines

The bed is very comfy and the room is clean, and kids super love the tub. The hotel attended to our request to have another room that we booked for the kids closest to ours. Breakfast is good with variety meals/food to choose from - love the teh tarik!

The view from our room was facing the roof. I've stayed at Zenith for few times, and each time during breakfast. I would wish Zenith would prepare sink for hand wash (other than having to go to the ladies), specially during these times.

I love how Zenith use Slumberland mattress because Slumberland gives comfort for my back as I have scoliosis so I appreciate a lot for good mattress. Zenith kuantan is the only 5 stars hotel in Kuantan and it's a short walking distance to ECM mall and you can get food at nearby restaurants easily by walking or taking Grab. Near to Teluk Cempedak beach as well.

Breakfast could be better but I'm not complaining much.

I love the hotel so much , but , one thing, the aircond is time setting , I need wake per 1 hours to open the aircond , because the air conditioning will be off every hours . 😮‍💨

1. Hospitality of the Front Desk staffs, the concierge includes the Hotel Manager all are nice and pleasant. 2. Cleanliness - rooms were spotless. 3. Location - opposite Shopping Mall provide more access for eateries. 4. Parking - comfortable.

Nothing much to comment.
