Our stay with Robert was truly a unique experience. From our first interaction with him when he picked us up from the airport, gave us a tour of St. Julians and provided us with a lot of tips and useful information about Malta before taking us to the property, to the last day of our stay when we could leave our bags with him and go to town until he picked us up where we were with our luggage already in the car and gave us a ride back to the airport, everything was perfect. The room was beautiful, with great view from the balcony, had a very nice bathroom and was always squeaky clean. The bed was comfy with different pillows to choose from. Air conditioning was really appreciated, especially after a long day out in the heat. Robert even had foot and neck massagers for us, as well as beach towels and cooling bag that we could borrow and bring to the beach with us. Breakfast was ready at the time we requested and was always tasty and varied with an explanation from Robert of what he has prepared for us on that day. I especially liked the local cheese, hams and fruits he had for us - and they were different every day! We were always full after the breakfast, and it was a great way to start the day. What made the stay even better than we hoped for were the subtle touches that made us feel welcomed every day. Robert left a gift in our room for us to find every day after we came back from our trip. He even arranged a boat cruise for us and had the tickets ready in advance. A very nice touch were also the two bottles of cooled water he had stored for us in the fridge every day, so that we could refresh ourselves. Robert has a lot of experience in the business and it shows. In summary, if you are lucky enough to have a chance of booking this accommodation, don’t hesitate. We know where we’re staying when we come back to Malta.

My partner and I recently had the pleasure of staying at Robert's property (Escape to St Julians). We were very impressed by the level of service and attention to detail that Robert provided. When we arrived Robert made us feel welcome and at home. The room was spacious and immaculately clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the views from the balcony were amazing. We were also surprised to find a foot massager in our room. It was the perfect way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I especially loved the fresh fruits, pastries and omelettes. Every day there was something new and unexpected in our room, such as a bottle of wine or a box of cookies. Robert really went above and beyond to make our stay special. Robert's personal touch really made all the difference. He took the time to get to know us and our interests, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. He was always available to answer our questions and help us plan our days, he also booked for us a tour to the Blue Lagoon. I would highly recommend staying at Robert's property to anyone looking for a truly special vacation experience. He is an amazing host, and his property is truly one of a kind.

Everything was perfect

Its difficult to know where to start as we had an amazing stay with Robert and his family. I have stayed in many places over the years ansd this was exceptional in terms of the service offered. Robert is very proud of his BNB and his experience in the industry over the years and has made sure everyone is treated with amazing service. The Breakfast was just fantastic and a different menu each day from local produce and home prepared. The rooms were spotless, good sized and had all we needed. Air con was perfect. Great views over the bay from our room. Every day we arrived to a treat waiting for us, proesco , nuts, cookies, sweets . Just a real nice touch and made us feel special. We got a guide book and all the help we needed and tips to explore the area. We had a late flight back and Robert kept our luggage and picked us up in Vallettta for an airport drop off which meant we enjoyed more time . Nothing was too much trouble from the original booking, communications, advice and our stay. We will go back and and will recommend to others. The accomadation is a ten minute walk from the centre but has local buses and a small supermarket a couple a mins away. The area is really nice . Our only regret was not taking Robert up on his original offer of a direct booking and airport pick up as we got a airport bus and didnt know the area. So thats my only tip for bookers is to use the pick up service. We had a brilliant time in Malta and got to see the island and the stay at Escape made it memorable for all the right reasons,

I believe Escape to St. Julians is the best place to choose when you are staying in Malta. I highly recommend to book this nice apartment and it will give you the best vibes ever for your entire vacation in this beautiful island. It is definitely a 11/10 ratings or more than a 5-star hotel experience you could ever imagine. The place is very accessible, a 10 minute walking to St. Julian’s and a 1 minute walk to the bus station that could bring you to the Valleta center. The room is lovely, well-maintained and nicely decorated. The ambiance is just fantastic! You get to receive fresh towels, drinking water supply plus daily compliments from the host. Robert gets to surprise you every single day that you are back from your trips. Robert and his family are the best! His kids are really amazing and very helpful too! On our first day, he had found time to give us a quick tour in St. Julians and the facilities nearby the location. Then we had a smooth check in. Daily Breakfast prepared is superb and impressive! All are freshly made and with personal touch! Robert went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable, likeable and delightful. From arranging airport transfer, boat cruises, tour information tips, serving local delicacies, room facilities, free use of foot massager, cooler bags, bathrobes, wifi connection, quiet balcony to relax -just name it and you can find all the necessities you want and need.

It was really an experience! Never have I experienced such a welcoming stay. Robert was an amazing host, who helped us in any way to make our stay even better. We were given a number of sweets, free aperitivo, massager etc. The foot massager in room was also a nice touch, which came in useful after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfasts were big (we never managed to eat everything from the table) and tasteful, local food along with breakfasts' classics. We recommend it all the way!

The only thing that cames to my mind is water pressure - it was very low, so you have to prepare for the lenghty hair washing, but it's really the only thing.

Robert is expert in delivering an excellent service. Everyday we found something different expecting for us when returning from a long day exploring malta, snacks and even a back and foot massage machines. The breakfast was my favorite part of the day, I told Robert that his service and sympathy was outstanding, but his wife pastries oh my.... the best I have ever had! On our first day we had a problem with our rented car, and Robert helped us to sort it, and helped us with the information about the covid tests and of course information about malta. We can’t thank you enough Escape St. Julians, great location, great service and amazing food. Highly recommend.

My boyfriend and I had a stay of five days at Escape to St Julians on Easter. We agree on the fact that we'never made such an experience in any b&b/hotel we've been before. Robert loves his work and he makes people feel at home but cuddled and taken care of as never before, at the same time. He's available at any time of the day and he helped us a lot with our tours in Malta and Gozo, also giving advice according to the weather. The house is about 10 minutes on foot from St. Julians and there's a really near bus stop which goes to La Valletta. The breakfast prepared by the hosts is incredibly rich, different every day (both salted and sweet) and it let you taste typical Maltese food (we really loved cheese!!). You can enjoy it in a relaxing atmosphere and a beautiful lunchroom. Our room was perfect, with a comfortable bed and a beautiful view from the balcony. Every space, including the bathroom, was superclean and they gifted us with a surprise on our bed every night. We'll really miss this level of care and relax.. 😢❤ We are greatful and happy to have known Robert and Ruth, since they're lovely people, and to have visited this beautiful country. We hope to return here very soon! 😍

Absolutely everything! Robert made sure to make a really special holiday for us. The place was spotless clean. The breakfast was so good! Fresh and diverse everyday was different and delicious. I feel like if there was a Michelin star for accommodations this place would be in the top range. We came for a holiday to celebrate a birthday and Robert made sure it was experience we will never forget. We got the best recommendations and enjoyed every moment. it’s quite location and well connected to everything. Nothing negative to say, if we ever back in Malta we will make sure this place is available for our stay!

Ruth, Robert and their children, make your stay in Malta fabulous. Nothing is too much or too little. From their optional pick-up service from the airport to the airport drop off, Robert and Ruth work their backsides off to make your stay comfortable and memorable. My wife and I stayed at Escape to St Julians for 5 nights in September 2022. In a quiet neighborhood street, Our room was very comfortable with a balcony, excellent bathroom, comfortable bed and air conditioning. Breakfast was always a treat of home-made goods coupled with local products. Robert would cook what ever was requested by us and the other guests. Robert was treasure trove of tourist information - including bus timetables, places to see, places to eat and general tour information (and local weather for the forthcoming days). Best of all - you would struggle to find another place which focussed so much on providing exceptional customer service and engagement. Robert goes the extra mile in making your visit to Malta a wonderful experience. We recommend a stay at "Escape to St Julians" in the highest possible terms.

The service was beyond excellent and the generosity of the hosts was incredible. Robert, his wife and daughter are extremely helpful. Breakfast was huge and delicious. The rooms were spacious and super equipped including many cool stuff like foot massager, bathrobe, guides, cooler bags, beach towels etc. Everything was very clean. The location is good and there is a lot of free parking around the property. The view from our room was amazing. The host helped us with many useful information and tips.
