Dhanraj concerns every guest's needs and tries to help each one of the guests. He likes to chat with every guest and makes us at home in the guesthouse. Victoriam is also a lovely staff who solves the guest's problem immediately. For example, when I found that the wasted water in the basin and the base of the bathing booth didn't go well, as soon as I reported to her, she efficiently cleared the pipe. The wasted water goes smoothly. I feel comfortable staying in this guesthouse. Every corner of the guesthouse is clean and tidy, and the facilities are user-friendly. Thanks for Dhanraj arranging me a bed in the woman-room, that's why I extant the stay in this guesthouse.

It was our first time in Sliema (two girls travelling). We are really happy with the choice we have made for our accomodation. The hostel has everything that you need for daily basis: well equipped kitchen, washing machine (they also provide the washing powder), living room for socializing, small bedrooms (2/4 people). The receptonists are really kind and helpful - a big shout out to Dhanraj who restock our stolen food when some group of Spanish people took it without asking. You the best Dhanraj! Overall, it was a great experience !
A price for washing clothes was a bit too high (6 euros). Some Spanish people who stole our food, were loud and usually left the kitchen dirty :/

The staff (especially the guy from India, I’m sorry but I can’t remember his name), the people, the location.
It didn't have air conditioning, and there were only 3 fans for 4 people, so we always had to fight to get air, especially for those of us who slept in the bottom beds. and that after staying for more than three days, when I checked out, I had to travel and they did not allow me to shower, there are bathrooms that are outside the rooms, it would have been very kind if they had allowed me to shower, I am a flight attendant and I did not want to arrive all sweaty to operate the flight, but it is what it is.

The Staff - Mister Dhanraj is AMAZING. He is the best thing about the hostel :). Super helpful, super kind. The hostel facilities are also great, nice big equipped kitchen, super clean toilets and bathrooms, lovely living room to chill, big lockers. SUPERB location. Grocery, restaurants all very close. Promenade is a 30 second walk.
The big improvement needed is adding electric plug points next to beds for charging. And for the top bunk - its EXTREMELY difficult to climb down, because there is a tiny space to squeeze your body through to descend. Very uncomfortable. And the fan in the room stopped abruptly on its own.

This is an amazing place to stay in if you want to pay a short visit to Malta and be very close to the center of Sliema. The staff were helpful and extremely friendly - we were met with great kindness and even allowed earlier check-in. We stayed in a private room which was spacious and quite comfortable for two people, and decently clean. Towels are not provided but can be rented for 5 euros each, as well as plug adapters which can be rented for 2 euros. I would say this is a great deal for its price!
It gets kind of hot in the rooms (for reference, we stayed here in the middle of July) - the room had a ceiling fan and another regular floor fan, but it couldn't quite kill the heat, especially during the day. Another con is the shared kitchen - while it is a great concept, especially for younger people who are willing to make friends from all around the world, people will take your stuff from the fridges without asking and you will be left without cold water because somebody drank it :) and people don't always clean after themselves. But then again, this isn't the owner's fault, just a heads up to have more water than possibly necessary.

A wonderful hostel with reasonable prices, conveniently located (a couple of blocks from the promenade with beaches). Cleanliness is maintained, there is a kitchen with everything you need, and the administrator Dhanraj provided us with useful tips on beaches and transport. Highly recommended.
The beds in our four-person room were wooden and my top bunk creaked noticeably when I climbed onto it in the middle of the night. For me it was not a problem, but I don’t know about the other guests who slept in the room. But I think that the low price for the stay more than compensates for this small detail. By the way, the sockets in Malta are British type (type G with three holes), keep that in mind. However, adapters for them are sold everywhere.

I had a wonderful stay at the Corner Hostel in Malta. From the moment I checked in, Dhanraj was incredibly helpful and guided me through everything I needed to know. When it came time to check out Viktoriia went above and beyond—she was friendly, approachable, and made the whole process seamless. The hostel is clean, the facilities are well-maintained, and for the price, it's definitely a great value. Plus, the location is perfect—central and close to everything you need, making it an ideal spot for anyone visiting Malta. I highly recommend the Corner Hostel to anyone looking for affordable and comfortable accommodation with great service!
The only downside to the hostel was the beds—they weren't the most comfortable, and the top bunks felt more like a rocking chair than a bed. A bit of extra stability would go a long way!

I have already stayed in Corner Hostel on the 10th of September. As soon as I checked in at the reception, I asked whether there's a bed in the woman's room. Dhanraj immediately confirmed that there's a bed for me in the woman room instead of sharing a 4 bed room with three other men as I booked before on lines. At the same time, I found that the environment was peaceful, so I asked whether I was able to stay until the 25th of September. He efficiently arranged the bed to me. Later, he told me that I could stay in the same room and there was no need to change the other room. I found that he was so considerate to fulfill every guest's needs and felt happy to stay there. The location of Corner Hostel is very convenient to take buses and other transportations. It saved my time in order to travel everywhere.
One night, when I sat at the lobby and I discovered that there're different languages to welcome the guests on the wall beside the main door. I was a little disappointed that there's no Asian languages such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Malaysian, etc. I found there're so many tourists from different parts5 of the world. Perhaps it needs much more space for the other languages. Of course, the hospitality of the staff is more important and impressive. Thank you.

I spent nine days in Malta. Have been in three hostels. My vote goes to Corner hostel as number one. It is comfortable, knit and very clean. Has nice kitchen, with all basic necessities, and spacious living room with a corner for work. The most important thing is that the staff is hospitable and kind. The receptionist from India (sorry, I forgot his name), who was always ready to help and took care of everything, left a particularly good impression on me. Tomislav, from Slovenia
Considering the price it was quite good.

I liked many things 😊 Have a good position, is affordable and the receptionist (Dhanraj) was very nice. He explained me all the rules and helps me to organize my trip according with my requirements. Is very helpful when you find someone that understand your profile and can help you to take good decision.
I generally don't like when the towel is not included on the price and I have to pay separately. Also they should be a bit more careful with the cleaning because one the top of my bed I find from a previous cliente the wax that he/she used to tap the ear. It's a mistake can happen to everyone but a bit more attention with the bed at the top. From down you don't see the dirt but when we go to sleep we observe everything 😁
