Grannys Hostel offers adult accommodations both private room and dorm bunk bed settings, at very good value. Each room has common wash basin, personal shelving, lockers, bright cheery windows that open for fresh air, air/con inverter, hangers, reading lights, pillows sheets blanket and bar fridge/freezer to share small perishable items—EZ 3-min walk to Boardwalk, beach, gym facilities, all types of casual cuisine, finer dining, steps to TowerRoad, Spinola, all bus routes includg no-transfers reqrd to n from Valletta Airport, generous common sized kitchen, all amenities avlbl. IMHO: 10/10

All solo travel expectations met. I wld be pleased to return again.

Nice neighborhood and really close to the beach. All the girls, part of the staff were really nice and helpful all the time. The kitchen was complete.

The triple beds in girls room don't have enough space to sit at all, and it is really unconformable to getup the bed mainly if you are in the middle bed. The temperature in for the AC should be standard in all the rooms to avoid that the guest are turning low the temperature constantly. One of the guys in the room 2 was changing the temperature to 21 degrees and it was really cold and now I'm suffering with a strong flue.

-Great roof garden - Good if you need to work remotely a day or two. Fast WiFi even on roof garden! - Good central location and near the beach - very friendly owner - Apart of normal guests they do accept some volunteers, which adds to community vibe of the place - air conditioning

Super minor issue but would be nice to add sun umbrellas at the roof garden Just manage your expectations. The price is low therefore facilitates are good but basic. I was cool with it , but don't expect for example boutique hoste type ofl experience.

It was in a very nice location in Sliema. Very close to the St. Julian’s bay and the harbour. It was very cozy and felt like home away from home. The staff where friendly.

I didn’t dislike it but while I was there, there was a large group of teens who where there for work experience, it meant I had to wait a while to use the kitchen. I also only saw one of the owners once while I was there, only the volunteers where there. It’s not a problem the volunteers where amazing. Just a bit strange. Also the bathroom doors wouldn’t lock.

The location is great, the neighborhood felt safe. The room is small, but more than enough for one person, who isn't planning to spend much time inside. The room had a fridge, a little sink, little kettle, hangers, bedside light, everything you might need to make your stay more comfortable. Windows were covered with anti mosquito net. The staff was young, multi national and very welcoming. I'd definitely stay there again.

Right across the street there's an elementary school, so, kids screaming and sometimes crying every morning from Monday till Friday :)

This hostel is one of the best by far. The hostel has a cool terrace at the rooftop for a nice sunset view. The room, kitchen, and toilets are so clean and well organised, and also garbage is sorted for recycling. The staff (Petra, Innes, Nicki, and Annika) are so kind and friendly, they created a sense of home for me. Also, the german volunteer Annika is incredibly supportive, she recommended me many cool stuff to do in Malta like visiting other cities and nice places for fun. I would definitely come again to Malta for this Hostel, good times spent there :)

It was amazing , the staff truly believe in a positive and glowing environment. I could never dream of a more spiritual experience. Paula was absolutely fabulous her positive energy had changed me forever, I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life I BELIEVE 🌻🌚🌞🌈🦋
