It is budget hotel, but it is providing very well service and all expectation are highly met. Location is excellent, on a very beautiful seaside promenade, perfect for night walk. The building is older, but the overall experience is better that it initially looked. The room was very clean, housekeeping services were provided on daily bases. Surprisingly even Netflix was included for free. Breakfast is standard, with typical English and Continental options. We stat for 7 days, and the hotel was a right choice and very good value for the money.

For the price you pay it is excellent value. This is certainly true if you have a sea view room with balcony. Location excellent two minutes to bus stops with very frequent bus service from which you can explore the island. Would suggest the weekly bus card which at 21 euros is unlimited and great value. Breakfast although not haute cuisine is good and plentiful. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. Don't on our experience understand the negative reviews.

TV is very poor only 3 channels with poor reception but internet was excellent so if you need to can watch online

The location is phenomenal, and there is space to be dropped in front. The view from our balcony was exceptional, and our room was ready early. The room was a good size, and had all typical amenities. The breakfast was good, more American/British than European (bacon, eggs, and beans while only one type of cold cut and cheese).

The beds were quite stiff and all but one plug was british type. The doors are hollow, have odd locking mechanisms, and are not sealed. You can hear anything in the hallway, and many guests do not turn the handle when returning to their room (you can hear the doors shut loudly from until nearly 2 am).

This hotel is amazing, and since we booked it on the same day we checked in we got the best rate. I’m a light sleeper so I asked for a quiet room and suprisingly it was very peaceful. The hotel is located on the promenade and there is a beach nearby. The room itself was very spacious and comfortable, with all necesary room amenities (even the little body lotions which I used to get in 4 star hotels only). Michael is the best receptionist in the world, thank you for being so kind to us! It means so much to me when the staff is polite and hospitable, people definitely don’t appreciate this enough. We requested a late check out, and we were allowed to stay in our room until 1 p.m. I will definitely come back!

I liked everything

Europa Hotel is located in a safe area and the sea is on the opposite side of the street. It's well connected with other parts of Malta and there is a direct connection with the airport. A 15-minute walk will take you to the place where you can take a ferry to Valetta or a cruise to Gozo and Comino. The price in winter season is very attractive (we were there in March) with a solid breakfast included. The room is cleaned every day. I would recommend this place for sure!

There was a group of kids staying for a school trip at the same time and they were quite loud even in the middle of the night.

Location is great, between Valletta and St. Julians, nice walking area in front of the hotel and hotel is located basically on the beach. Inside the hotel is extremely quiet and our room was extra clean, bonus for thorough cleaning every day of the room.

We booked one single bed and first we got the room with one single bed but that room was not setup nor cleaned so after we complained we got a new room that was sparkling clean but there were 2 single beds that were put together, i was too lazy to complain again in general it was okay and mattresses are really comfy.

First of all i has surprised to see it's cleaning room every day and all around hotel, the staff was helpful and with the smile of the face all the time, food was decent, i love the ATM inside the location, room was decent size and the bed really comfortable, with that small balcony for who ever smoke it's great Well done to your team 👌

The elevator it's a little bit overwhelmed when the hotel it's full maybe consider to upgrade or sort out a second option maybe it will usefull some guidence like info/direction, furniture a little bit old but decent

I fell in love with the island of Malta 🇲🇹 after my weeks visit. I returned in 2019, and 2020 before the big Covid lock down. Both stays were at the EUROPA HOTEL, SLIEMA. After lock down I returned to my Beautiful island of Malta in February 2022 and I am just back from a brilliant week 10th to 17th November 2022. Both stays in 2022 were at the EUROPA HOTEL. What am I saying? This small, well run, clean, value for money Hotel, with a brilliant and beautiful location, is perfect for exploring and enjoying this island. THE HOTEL IS SMALL, WELL RUN, CLEAN GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY BEAUTIFUL LOCATION CONVENIENT TO ALL BUS ROUTES That's why I have stayed there 5 Times. ## WHAT I HAVE TO STAY IS ALL THE STAFF, HOUSEKEEPING, RECEPTION, BREAKFAST MICHAEL THE OWER### THANKS FOR ANOTHER BRILLIANT STAY.

I COULD NOT STAY LONGER

Location is amazing! Cleanliness from staff, they really do an amazing job at keeping every corner clean. Breakfast was really good for the price.

No charging point near the bed. Room got really cold sometimes in the night. Very thin walls. We could hear everything from the corridor and even the adjacent room! A crying kid disrupted our sleep several times due to such thin walls. We booked a taxi from hotel to airport and there was a confusion, so we later booked taxi on our own which was 6 euro cheaper than what the hotel asked for taxi asked for. So just get ecabs for taxi service!

The room was comfortable, we paid extra to have a view for the sea, so it was very nice as expected. Spacy balcony, nice bathroom, comfortable beds and everything clean. The cleaning lady came every day for cleaning the room. I was afraid of the breakfast becouse of the reviews about the hotel, but for us breakfast was very nice, enough choises of sweet and sour food. Very practical was also nonstop reception, we arrived first day late in the evening. Even that there is no (or maybe I just do not know about it) the hotel parking garage, we found always space for parking our rented car in front of the hotel. Location was amazing, becouse we had about 1km from us the port with ships going to Valetta, also lot of bus stations (which we did not use), restaurants around and good area for walking in the evenings.

There was not problem with mostly anything, but one small problem I had with reservation. We needed to stay for 4 nights, but 14 days before the arrival our airplane tickets were cancelled. I bought new ones with leave of one day before (so only 3 nights stay and I tried to cancel it via Booking. Even I requested change of stay for one day less 14 days before our arrival hotel did not accept the change and so we have paid one night more even it was not our fault. One morning didnt went hot water, but I suppose that could happen to anywhere and about one hour from the time we informed reception there were already repairers, when we came back from trip in the evening, hot water was going without problem.
