I really liked the location and the sea view. We stayed there for 3 days, and it was enough to see the Valletta city and more nearby attractions. I really loved the Japanese Bakery, that was right next door - best cappuccino I had in Malta. Also a really good breakfast place was right across the street and it had a nice sea view.

What can I say - of course the rooms were not perfect and the furniture is old. But who cares? Everything worked well. I mean I would be a pretty sad person if I let some stains on the bathroom floor to ruin my vacation. :D Shower is maybe suitable for smaller people and you have to use a key to open the fridge. So, haha, if you need to hide your money to a safe place, use the fridge.

Perfect place for a relaxing stay in Malta. If you do not want to ruinm your budget this is the place for you. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Hotel receptionists were very helpful and offering a lot of help and even room upgrade at no costs. Both me and my wife were delighted with the room scenic view and size. It was more than we could even expect. We had a lovely 5 days stay in Roma hotel. Close to beach, close to Lidl :-) close to all local attractions and even better place than Valetta, to be honest. I will go back there for sure. First time in Malta, but will return again for sure. Only the taste of Kinnie is worh visiting Malta again.... :-)

blend or side wall between balconys on the same floor would give more privacy. Not a big broblem, but sometimes confusing to each other....

I stayed in the hotel many times.It is a small and pretty with family atmosphere.I always book a room with a balcony and sea view.It is fantastic.Everything is nearby the hotel-bus stop /Chalet/to Valletta,beaches,Mdina etc,,supermarket and newly opened Lidl is 2 minutes walk.Stone beach is opposite the hotel.Staff in Rome hotel is very friendly and helpful

Spacious room and bathroom, right in front of the seaside. Air conditioning and fridge in the room. Breathtaking view from the balcony. Lovely staff. Bus stops within a minute walking distance. We will be back!

It's an old building and the appearence of the front door can be improved. But this was not a problem at all for us. Everything was just perfect.

The staff was exceptionally helpful and kind. The location was perfect, many restaurants nearby and very well connected with public transport to visit other parts of the island like Valetta. In general, avery good value for money experience.

The room was not so modern and from the window you couldn't get any light or air but it wasn't a big issue.

Amazing location. Bus station is just in front of hotel, connected with direct lines to all main attractions in Malta. Neighbourhood is very live with lots of bars and restaurants with perfect balance of not boring but not to noisy ether. Rooms were very clean with every day maintenance. Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful!

Location - perfect, staff - very helpful, room - a little old but big enough. The best view in entire Sliema. Supermarket within a 2-minutę walk, bus stops in both directions right under your nowe, nice Japanese bakey/cafe next door, two open air cafes across the street, as well as a diving centre with a seawater pool.

Bathroom needs renovation, balcony needs a kind of screen so that you can have breakfast undisturbed by neighbours (who by the way weren't intrusive at all). More tableware should be provided. Oh, and don't go to the Chinese restaurant next door, it's awful😊

great location. friendly staff accommodation was clean, simply furnished, and good value for area. clean towels and cleaning daily. a great budget find

fitted sheets would have been nice or at least a mattress cover. bottom sheet kept pulling out small thing, but annoying

The hotel location was excellent and the facilities were more than adequate to meet our needs. We will definitely book again when we return to Malta

Perhaps the bathroom shower could be updated but there was more than enough hot water and clean towels

breathtaking view, kind staff, amazing location and for this much money it just can’t get any better. i spent six nights at Roma Hotel, and would definitely come back if I happened to travel to Malta again
