Fabulous hotel with great interior design features - even if they are imitations... Staff are fab, but typically Mexican don't interact overly friendly. Great atmosphere and right in the middle of historical centre. Excellent restaurant on top floor, but a bit expensive.

Our room was on level 5, just below the restaurant. The noise from moving chairs on the restaurants tiled floor kept us awake beyond 11pm and woke us promptly at 6.30am for breakfast. Avoid floor 5 and ask for floor 4 if your room is close to the Zocalo Square

Zocalo central has a wonderful location with an amazing view of the cathedral. The rooms are modern, comfortable, though small. Great breakfasts at the restaurant and free food in the cafe all day…… we had several lunches there . The staff are really nice and could not have been more helpful. I have been here three times this year.

I was annoyed when I had to reduce my nights there by one, because bloat is cancelled my flight. When I tried to reduce my nights , the hotel wanted to increase!!!!! My costs by nearly double! So much for free cancellation. I would understand if the cost increased on a night I was adding, but I wasn’t adding a new night. It would be nice if they were more reasonable with this, especially since I have returned 3 times AND brought other people with me, so I have made a lot of money for them next year. It felt pretty dishonest

Lucero and Yared were the kindest and most amazing staff members. our daughter Zosia thought they were both great and have a lovely time with them. Always a lovely added bonus when travelling to have such kind staff.

The breakfast really should have more vegan and vegetarian options. even vegan yoghurts, peanut butter for breads, etc. we had a really tough time with the restaurant ordering breakfast even though we made notes on our bookings. The location, although central, is on a loud square when events take place and the area gets very busy and the roads are sometimes closed nearby which makes it difficult when travelling around with Ubers etc.

Book this hotel! We loved it. Sadly it was just for one night at the end of our Mexican adventures, we wish we could’ve stayed longer. Upon arrival the staff were super friendly, check in was easy, and our room (a family room with two doubles) was perfect for us. Plenty of space in the room, a coffee machine, a bathroom with two sinks and the best shower we had in Mexico! It was a quiet room even tho it’s right next to the zocalo square and cathedral which has very loud bells! There’s water in the rooms, and water available to help yourself to in the hallways, as well as free apples. Breakfast was ideal….lovely fresh fruit bowls with granola and yoghurt, and a hot Mexican breakfast with some lovely pastries and coffees. Best thing about breakfast tho, is it’s served on Balcon de Zocalo, the hotels famous restaurant. The views are insane. Worth a trip to even if you’re not staying there. The final plus is that the hotel offers complimentary food and drinks all day when you’re a guest. Paninis, cold drinks, beers, soups…incredibly useful and it’s an oasis of calm in a busy city. The reception area also smells divine!

Nothing at all to say negatively about this place. As I said, book this hotel!

Excellent service and wonderful amenities. Super friendly and helpful staff members. The view from the Balcon del Zocalo every morning for breakfast was amazing. The fridges full of free water bottles were extremely convenient for our daily touristing. The bed was super comfortable. But the thing that I loved the most was definitely the (free!!!) 24/7 Cafe Central. Probably the best amenity I've ever encountered in a hotel.

The lack of mini fridge in the room caused us some headaches. This wasn't the hotel's fault but we underwent about 4 different planned power outages during our one-week stay. The hotel made sure to inform us in advance that the outages were going to happen. I also would've liked it more if they had left extra TP in the room. Just one roll at a time makes it hard for two people. But to be clear, the good stuff EXTREMELY outweighs these inconveniences!

This hotel was lovely! Exceeded my expectation. They have a coffee shop that is free for customers which was a lovely bonus. Hotel was lovely, rooms were small with no view but very nice. Great location, can jump on the tour bus right in front of hotel and the streets behind are great for shopping and sight seeing. Staff very helpful and friendly. Small gym. Complimentary water. Restaurant on top floor lovely and good view

Nothing.

You can't imagine and in my opinion find better location in Mexico City. The view from the balcony is outstanding. The breakfast is great. The stuff very friendly and helpful. You have 24h coffee shop in the hotel with free coffee and sandwiches for hotel guests. I've been in so many hotels and never seen anything like that. The hotel is very clean and the food is very fresh. One if the best hotels I've ever been.

I had system problem ( not hotel fault ) with late check out, but Consierge Edith resolved it in our favour. Edith was very helpful with any question we had and I'm sure owner of the hotel is for sure proud to have stuff like this on their board. One thing : in my room double bed was in my opinion to narrow and we had to "fight" with my wife about our half of the bed😂

The location was amazing, my room was always clean with fresh towels and sheets the fact that they have the coffee area 24 hrs open is amazing. The restaurant for dinner was beautiful, the food was delicious and the service amazing.

The only thing was breakfast time, the hotel offers breakfast included but is actually open for everyone who is not staying at the hotel saying that base in my experience the attention is not the same. But other than that I enjoyed the food.

The location is unbeatable. The breakfast at the rooftop restaurant is a pleasant experience, but the food needs more variety, especially when you stay over a week there. The restaurant needs reservations. We didn't try. The people working in this hotel are all very kind, friendly, and accommodating. The 24 hour cafe is the best. You don't have to worry about getting hungry any time; you can always go downstair to have a sandwich, a beer, a fruit cup. Bottled water is also in unlimited supply.

The second floor hallway smells sewage. The shower door could cause water leaking on the bathroom floor.

Everything, this hotel is the industry standard in one of the greatest settings in the world.. The staff are the Best and genuinely nicest hotel workers you can find. Nothing was too much trouble. The little touches around the hotel were excellent ,apples and bottled water outside the elevator, the small restaurant open and free to guests downstairs (open24/7) . The breakfast was magnificent served in a magical rooftop restaurant overlooking the cathedral and plaza (stunning). We had dinner at the hotel and possibly the best meal of my life. We have travelled around the world and this is definitely our favorite hotel.Added to this ,is the fact that you are minutes away from Temple Mayor, the plaza and galleries.

The fact that we had to leave, happily would have stayed longer.
