The location is fantastic. The old building is beautiful. The breakfast on the roof is quite good if included with the room. The price is very good considering the location and if you can put up with its downfalls. With a little bit of extra attention to detail, this hotel could command a much higher price. The coffee machine in the lobby makes very good espresso coffee for Mexico standards. Staff are nice.

Towels were old and grey. Shower was cold mostly. The shower flooded the bathroom floor even when very careful. The room is quite small which makes it difficult to have 2 suitcases in the space. Lumpy old matress. There is no hair-dryer unless you leave your ID at the front desk. There is no kettle or tea/coffee facilities in the room.

Breakfast was included and times weren't crazy early where you couldn't make it. The room was tight but for the cost, it wasn't bad at all. Extra towels and water were brought when rooms were cleaned which isn't always common unless you ask. We got there early, before 3pm check-in, and were happy they accommodated locking up our luggage until then.

a little variety in the breakfast, I'm Mexican and can eat eggs and beans often but some bread selection or variety in the fruit would be nice. My major annoyance is not only having to ask for a hair dryer but also having to leave my ID to keep in my room. When I returned the dryer they were having a hard time even finding the ID which made me very nervous. Lastly, the worst was the super thin walls. I heard extracurricular activities through the walls I preferred not to and everything could be heard from the hall and I am in a "family suite". Our son was oblivious thank goodness but we were there to make the most of each day so early mornings were hard with the commotion at night

The place is very charming and unique. Location is really good and the area is safe. The rooms were small but big enough to feel comfortable. Beds were comfy and style inside was very modern. Super clean. Staff was very helpful and polite and warm, and when we encountered a sink problem immediately they were fixing it.

The shower splashes outside the shower divider, would be nicer to have a glass enclosure. And the sink faucet makes difficult to wash the face without splashing. But the housekeeping was superb!

Great location - close to Zocalo, but on a (slightly) quieter street. The employees were super-friendly and the whole place had a nice historical feel. The rooms were large and comfortable, and my son's room had a giant 100-year old safe in it! I originally considered nearby competitors - Hampton, Historico Boutique, Hotel Isabel - and didn't regret my choice for a second. They even let us have a super-late checkout (1pm) to align with our flight. The hotel was easy to find, with a clean and welcoming entrance courtyard.

Very good location, in the center. Breakfasts were quite monotonous, but not the worst. The room with a kitchenette allowed for making tea, small meals, etc. Quite a large area.

The smell, despite airing, is difficult to bear. It was noisy at night because the rooms faced the hall. Unfortunately, the staff does not know even the basics of English and I am writing about the reception.

I love the modern styling in the historic building filled with character. It is two blocks south of the Zócalo. Staff is very friendly, especially at the free breakfast given daily in the terrace. Lots of other food options and sights to see within walking distance. I also like that Uber and other options can drop you off right in front and that the street isn’t blocked as much due to manifestations as occurred a lot in stays north and west of here

It is a great hotel. if I was going to be picky though, the round mirror in the bathroom is too small and high up

Nice spacious room with some kitchen necessities

This particular room was on the roadside and had traffic noise through the night. The bathroom although at first glimpse looked grea5, the tiles on the floor has been installed over a flexible base and we’re cracking and deteriorating. Water will almost certainly be damaging the underfloor.

Great location. Two minute walk from the main square. Good breakfast on the roof. Room was lovely with a balcony which we enjoyed using to chill on of an evening. Very friendly staff and architecturally beautiful. The reception organised a brilliant salsa lesson on the rooftop for us.

The room had a kitchenette BUT plates, cutlery etc aren’t provided. By handing in your passport or drivers licence at reception you can borrow a limited selection of items.

Proximity to a lot of attractions. Just a block from the city center Zocalo, Cathedral and Templo Mayor and not too far from Alameda, Bellas Artes. Around the area there are plenty of good restaurants and shopping. Room was comfortable and for the location was pretty quiet.

no small fridge in the room.
