The property is located really well in the historic center and if you want to get around downtown. The room was spacious and super clean. The stuff was very nice except for one receptionist who ruined the whole experience when we were checking out. You have to leave a deposit for any damages and you are not allowed to leave without them inspecting the room. However we were already late for our flight and were asking him to hurry up and he then stubbornly resisted doing anything at all. Then we said we are going to leave in order to catch the plane and he said he was going to call the police. The cleaning lady checked the room at the end and everything was ok, we got the deposit back but unfortunately this bad experience ruined the otherwise nice stay in the hotel.

The streets around it were quite busy and the air quality was really bad, definitely worse than in other parts of the city we visited. Other everything was great - except for our check out experience as already mentioned.

A well organised and operated hotel. Location is spot on. The staff are super professional and friendly except the one front desk lady in the evening who would not respond to any greetings and stared blankly at you. Comfortable beds. Good size room. Very quiet. The buffet breakfast was incredible for one morning at least. The next mornings it appeared reheated and one third of the options. Still good though. Quite a nice hotel but I would not stay there again. Better value elsewhere.

A little bit clinical and some of the hotel policies seem a bit serious at first glance. But understandable to protect themselves from disrespectful guests. I never had hot water. My room mate said that they did but I wasn't comfortable wasting 12 to 15 minutes of water to have a hot shower. The coffee percolater came with 2 cups but only one portion of coffee and sugar and creamer so we had to share one cup. The ducted air con did not work at all in room 208. We asked for assistance from the front desk to take a look at it and failing the ability to repair it that they leave us a standing fan to compensate for the stuffy heat in the room. They did not help us with a fan. The thermostat read 27 degrees Celsius! Be advised. Don't stay in room 208.

The location is great for a deep dive into the cultural center of Mexico City. The hotel is clearly all renovated and full of new amenities. It's a bonus to have breakfast included and the food was good.

The room was dark, as there was no outdoor window. I understand the hotel is in the old downtown area which provides a complex internal architecture, so even though I didn't like that, it is not their fault and they renovated the hotel thinking about it, which is great. However, I would try to book a room with an outdoor window if I come back there one day. The breakfast was good, the only thing I didn't like was that for a latte (coffee with hot milk) I needed to pay extra.

Location - Excellent location for exploring the city on foot and out of the hustle and bustle of other areas in Centro Historico Breakfast - Fantastic buffet breakfast Room - Good room and storage for clothing. Great bathroom with amazing shower! Staff - Most helpful and willing to accommodate

Room - Walls are paper thin. We could hear the people in the room next door talking clearly and they were not being overly loud. The room did get a quite stuffy and there wasn't an outside window so didn't have an option to open one. This resorted to us using the aircon which left us feeling not great at there was no circulation of fresh air. A little on the dark side and could do with some more lighting,

Excellent from start to finish. Bilingual staff checked us in quickly and with lots of helpful information. Room was comfortable and clean with beautiful exposed brick work, bathroom had great rainforest shower and wifi was good. Bottled water provided in room with free coffee available. Breakfast buffet included was superb. Short spin from airport in taxi in central part of city so easy to walk around.

Nothing to do with the hotel but we were so tired getting off the plane we went straight out to the taxi rank and ended up paying three times what we should have. The hotel told us there is standard rate to/fro airport and ordered us a taxi back at that much lower rate. (At the airport, best to prepay at taxi kiosk inside & they give ticket for driver to avoid being overcharged.)

Best thing about this hotel was the staff and location. Helpful, friendly and just lovely staff especially Angel and Andi on the front reception desk. Such lovely people. Also Sergio one of the doormen was super nice too. Breakfast was plentiful with some variation each day. The mature lady sorting the coffee and baked goods at breakfast Irene I think was also so sweet. Rooms are clean and fine size wise given you're going to be out and about exploring.

No window for one of our rooms so no natural light but it's a central hotel so not much you can do. Other room had window to atrium. Again design of the building.

A spacious and clean room at the heart of the Historic Centre. The breakfast was delicious and had a modest range of food available - meat, vegetables, fruits, sweets…etc. Walking distance to most attractions within the Historic Centre. The staff was very friendly and was always willing to help. A bonus was that some of the staff would also remember who you were and would greet you and asked how your day was.

The location was great. Most things were within walking distance. Zocalo is about 10-15 minutes away. The morning staff were extremely helpful and friendly! We loved the lady who worked the breakfast shift. She was always so kind. Breakfast was DELICIOUS! AC was great and blew very cool air.

Every time we showered, water leaked out of the door and onto the floor. The lip was not high enough to keep the wager from pouring out. The evening staff in the lobby always looked at us like we didn’t belong there lol. They turn off the AC when they clean your room, so when you get back you have to turn it back on and wait for it to get back down to your desired temperature. Same with the lights lol so anytime we came back we couldn’t see anything initially and the hallway leading into the room is already a little bit dark.

- Great breakfast with a mix of local and international dishes - Super friendly staff - Stylisch hotel - I especially liked the atrium style of the building.

- No actual window in our room (only glass covered with white foil) - If we had researched the location/area better, we would have chosen another area of the city. Although its centro, is was not perfectly located and the surrounding area is sometimes not the most pleasant. But that's of course nothing the hotel did wrong. :)

The breakfast buffet on the weekends was very comprehensive and convenient. It included many savory dishes, including ceviche, meats, and foods otherwise more associated with lunch so I'd highly recommend that option if you are there on a Saturday or Sunday morning. The breakfast buffet on the weekdays was very good, but not quite as awesome as the food selection on the weekend as there was a smaller selection (but still much better than a typical US continental breakfast composing of scrambled eggs, sausage, toast, waffles, and pancakes). The hotel itself is very new and/or very well maintained. All the room furniture and bathroom fixtures were in excellent condition. The location is quite convenient and is easily walkable to the Zocalo in one direction or Alameda Central in the other direction.

The wifi strength in my room was not very good and I had to place my cellphone by the door and use it as a wifi repeater so that I could do work on my laptop. Fortunately, actual internet speeds if you were connected to the hotel wifi were decent.
