Beautiful ocean views away from the hustle and bustle of Tulum. The room was comfy, the staff was great, and they arranged for massages on the beach for us. Food was decent but not amazing. The pool deck is a little worn down but still nice enough. The beach there is beautiful but not great for swimming. It's about 20 minutes driving to Tulum which we liked but some people may want to be closer to the club/party scene there. Overall a good stay.

The ocean view rooms are perfect! You can enjoy the view but you cannot swim in the ocean! The beach is rocky and no one tell you until you get the room! The staff were so friendly specially Nuria, she helped us a lot and had a great suggestions for us!

The beach just has the view! You cannot swim here! The location is awful! It’s away from everything and you have to have your own car otherwise you’ll stuck in the hotel! Even the road to get here is rocky! The breakfast wasn’t self service and you have a few options! Ex. Fruit or juice!!!! You cannot have both! The first day they gave us both but they mentioned you had to pay but it’s ok for this time!!!!

It was truly a 5 star hotel. The ocean view from the pools and restaurant and immaculate. The breakfast was delicious and there was fresh orange juice and lemonade. For a small restaurant, they have lots of options and the food is tasty. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The rainfall shower and personal pool were my favorite. You also only have to walk 7 minutes down the beach to comfortably swim.

The alcoholic drinks were very watered down. We’re both normally pretty lightweight, but we had multiple shots of tequila from the hotel bar and were barely slightly buzzed. The cocktails are delicious but we’re sure there’s little to no alcohol in them.

This is my 2nd time staying at this property and it's so lovely & the food is amazing! They are pet friendly & don't charge a pet fee*** This stay they even provided pet beds & food bowls for our 2 pups, such a nice touch. Rooms are equipped with everything you need. I love the bathroom with the rain shower & the fantastic smelling toiletries, super comfortable king sized bed. There's also a safe, expresso maker, refrigerator, iron & your own private plunge/swimming pool. It's off the beaten path, but who cares about this if the club scene is not your thing. If you need to relax, this is your place. I highly recommend!!!

The beach isn't swimmable unless you swim way out due to the rocks, but the hotel has several pools to cool you off. I walked down the beach & there's pockets you can swim in. Don't let this detour you from staying at this wonderful hotel. You will enjoy it!!

The view was amazing with both pools sitting outside our room. Staff was very nice and food was delicious. We got to the hotel earlier than check in time and they allowed us to chill at the restaurant and stored our bags while we waited until our room was ready. We had a rental car and were really close to the downtown area (10 mins) as well as about 20 mins away from where the boutique hotels were. I also liked that we were able to set up a nurse to come and do our Covid test prior to leaving.

The jacuzzi that came with our room didn't work or we just had no idea on how to turn it on. There was a ton of seaweed so we avoided getting in the water but no one did because it was literally everywhere because of the season.

Too far away from everybting, good luck getting ripped off by local cab drivers. A couple mile rides will cost about 500-700 pesos, and to the famous beach road it’s about 1300. Next time May be worth staying at the fancy resorts on beach road in order to save hundreds spent on cab to get to center/beach road for restaurants/drinks/pharmacies

The staff was amazing. The nicest staff I’ve ever had. The food was great and I loved being ocean front.

The hotel had rust all over. The pools, the doors, etc. It didn’t ruin our experience but I do wish the property would have been just a little more well kept.

We stayed at O’Tulum for three nights. It was by far one of our favorite places in Mexico. A small quaint boutique resort with rustic chic vibes. The resort is tucked in the interiors with a 10 min tires ride on an unpaved path with a little paradise of a beach resort at the far end of the road. The staff is splendid who pays attention to the smallest details. From the reception, to the housekeeping staff to a fantastic restaurant staff- their seller is empathy and attention to detail. Louis in the reception is an absolute star. He will tell you about all the hidden gems in Tulum, have the best solutions and ever ready to help with his most spectacular smile. Also a shout out to Nancy from the housekeeping who made sure the room was done exactly how we liked it. The beach at the resort is not ideal for swimming as it is rocky. But there is a beautiful beach at a 7 mins walk great for swimming. The resort also is a 5 minutes walk from Casa Cenote. The internet connection is certainly a little patchy but isn’t that the point of taking a vacation. Where you are compelled to switch off and enjoy what s in front of you! :)

Loved that it was an exclusive property and that it doesn't accommodate a ton of guests at one time. Loved the staff; everyone there was phenomenal. Plunge pool was great, view was exceptional. The "welcome tequila shot" upon our arrival was a huge bonus!

Plunge pool was a tad chilly, but this is great for hot days. The beach is very rocky so it's impossible to walk down to the shore. The property is newer, however, the decor seems a bit dated. I can't really say anything else about this property that I didn't like.

We loved O’Tulum! Quiet, relaxing, everything we ate was delicious. The staff are friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. With only about a dozen rooms, it’s small but has enough space to have privacy. There are 3 pools, and you can walk a short distance to an undeveloped end of a bay for a swim in the ocean. You do kind of need a car to get there from the airport. Once there we only left for a bike ride and to try another restaurant. We’ve told our friends about O’Tulum and would definitely return.
