What a wonderful place to stay in Asilah! The Riad is beautiful - a gorgeous spiral staircase going up to the rooms. Our room was spacious, bright and nicely appointed, as was the bathroom. We had dinner at Al Alba which was delicious! Very generous portions! And breakfast was the same - lots of food and all of it delicious! I did a Hammam at their spa in the Medina which was also great! Very clean place, and the staff was lovely and very welcoming. We'd stay again!

The beds were a bit hard... everything else was wonderful!

The modest entrance to the hotel gave way to a fascinating and beautifully decorated interior, very Moroccan. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Food was absolutely delicious and all homemade. Location was good, as the Medina was only a 15 minute walk away along the sea front. The train station too was only 20 minutes in the other direction. Would definitely recommend a visit to this small but very quaint hotel.

We loved everything.

A nice riad, with a wonderful garden, conveniently just next to the main street. We stayed one night and arrived late and Maria suggested we walk 10 minutes down to the beach for grilled sardines. It was fantastic, in front of the see, fresh sardines from the fishermen, with moon reflected on the see, glorious! Maria is a very nice person, the house and the garden are wonderful. I recommend the place.

Staff were amazing, warm and friendly and went out of their way to help us. My partner left his suit bag at the hotel and they very kindly shipped it to the UK for us as we had already travelled. The hotel is beautiful, very clean and lovely design. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Great location too, right next to the sea.

High quality Riad. More expensive than I'm used to in Morocco but high standard. Very comfortable room, very helpful and multilingual staff. On booking it is Hotel Al Alba but when you arrive the sign says Riad Al Alba. Parking just outside for my van. Very extensive breakfast.

Amazingly new and comfortable Moroccon style room with quite a few windows and lighting sufficient, which is usually not the case in the accomodation at other cities. Friendly and cheerful staff. Common area is cozy and comfortable too. Air con is available so good choice for summer vacation too. Best accomodation I had in my 9-day Morocco trip

No key for main entrance is given so I need to ring the bell every time coming back but the staff is helpful and respond quick (within 10s) even at night and early morning like 6am

Great hotel! I loved the decoration and design. The location was perfect, close to the beach and walking distance to the Old Medina. The staff was wonderful, very friendly and welcoming, honoring the traditional Moroccan hospitality. Thumb up to Oumeima and Houria who made our stay exceptional. Breakfast was excellent and service was outstanding. I will definitely come back to El Alba when I will return to Asilah.

I loved everything.

Beautiful interior, welcoming staff (who spoke excellent English), parking just outside the entrance, great breakfast (at a modest extra fee), comfortable. A 10 (15?) minute nice walk to the medina, restaurants are even closer.

We had a suite with a double bed and two single beds (we like to have extra space for luggage), and in our room the double bed was a little too narrow.

The staff are nice, professional, and helpful. We ordered Moroccan soup, tea, bread, dates, cheese, honey and other food at night, but I was surprised the owner did not like to get paid. This act shows a high level of generosity of the staff.

Very comfortable, quiet, sweet hotel. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Great beds.

Bathroom setup in our room was a bit awkward, with no shelf space by the sink. It would be nice to have a fridge and at least an electric kettle in the room. Some outdoor seating or a rooftop terrace would be a nice addition.
