Very friendly staff who let us leave our bag with them while we went to Chefchaouen for a couple of days. Breakfast included (minimal: 3 types of bread, orange juice & mint tea or coffee). Room on the ground floor was ok - no air con, but serviceable, room on the 1st floor much better, with air con, tv (not that we used it) & decent bathroom/shower. No hot water though. All rooms are around a central terrace which can be noisy, if you're trying to sleep. Good location & a 10-15 min walk to the Medina.

This place has a great location, close to the medina, harbor and beach. We could walk everywhere. Rooms are simple but clean. Breakfast was quite small, but we had pancakes and fresh juice. Staff was nice and helpful.

The only functioning power outlet was above the wall mounted tv - we had to stand on a bed to reach it. Make sure you book a room with air con if you go in the winter, we missed that information when we booked it was freezing (we didn't ask for another room as we only stayed one night, I'm sure we could have paid for a better room).

The location is good, 15min by walk to Medina, parking is possible on the street but ensured and secured by local personal, but for a small fee. Personal is kind and helpful. Breakfast is simple but tasty and sufficient for a few days.

Since there is no reserved parking lot, it can happen that you need to leave your car 200m from the hotel and take all your luggage in hands. Nothing serious, but worth mentioning.

The rooms were some of the loveliest Ive been in, spacious, airy. It's a little expensive, but not if you like huge rooms, lots of choice, and fair help in a new culture. The staff are helpful but not intrusive. They offer very fair taxi, day trip and clothes washing services ..very fair. Morocco is safe, as a female solo traveller, I went out at night and was always helped with my mobile connections, always supported. I did feed the stray cats and offer money to the homeless, and the local restaurants were very appreciative - they brought out stray cats to eat (fresh fish is 5eu for half a kilo) and they don't berate the homeless). This place is not a high rise, it's a spacious, relaxed , large vika type setting. I had two windows to open, and was happy to take care of the rooms and keep them looking as great as when I entered. I loved this place! Day trips to Chefchouan for 70eu!

The rooms are clean and basic, beds are comfortable and clean. The terrace in the accommodation is very chilled and relaxing. Wifi connection good throughout the accommodation is excellent. All staff are helpful and spoke English. Ahmed was very helpful, recommended a brilliant traditional local Hamam which was amazing. He organised us a taxi to take us to Chefchaouen and also confirmed for the taxi man to collect us the following day to return back to Tanger. The taxi driver was also exceptionally helpful by walking us all the way to our next hotel in Chefchaouen. I enjoyed our stay and would most definitely return.

A comfortable room, in a good location, suitable for one night. It ticked the boxes. A short walk to the beach front with a number of restaurants in the area.

The wifi was good at and near the office, otherwise it was very weak. We ended up sitting outside the office to use it. It would be nice to place a booster out in the courtyard somewhere to improve it. Breakfast was advertised as included and as starting at 8am. We waited until 8.20am and it had still not been set up so we left, sans breakfast, as we had a ferry to catch.

I really liked the helpfulness of the staff. The owner of Dar Omar Khayam even envited a friend of mine and me to do two guided trips to Assilah and Chaouen. We went there by car and he took his time to show us around and tell us everything he knows about those wonderful cities. We got allong really well with him and I can highly recommend to take the opportunity to do one of the offered tours with him. Merci beaucoup et à la prochaine

I particularly liked the attitude and helpfulness of their staff. They are wonderful people! The location is within walking distance from the stores and restaurants. We had a rental car and it was convenient an overnight parking garage was so close to the property.

By design, the bathroom floor gets wet after taking a shower. This seems to be a common issue since we have experienced the same thing in other hotels in nearby citifies.

We had an amazing time at Dar Omar Khayam. The hotel is very pretty and it has a gorgeous garden with cosy sofas and tables, perfect for chilling. The room was very nice and clean. The people working here were very kind and friendly, they gave us useful tips on travelling around and made sure we enjoyed our stat at the hotel. We would come back with great pleasure, I definitely recommend it! Thank you.

The staff, the location and the deco were lovely. Kindness and commodity everywhere, everyone was ready to help. We could even move safely around the city and elsewhere thanks to the taxis and instructions that the hotel staff secured for us. A true Moroccan experience, will definitely return!

A lot of mosquitoes at night… mosquito nets in the windows would be really helpful to guests. The breakfast wasn’t great, cold and continental when what we searched for was a true Moroccan breakfast. But overall, a stay to remember!
