The staff were excellent. One of our members was sick and they really helped us out. They were not full so they upgraded our room. They called us an airport taxi which was different from the regular red Petite Taxis for town. The room was very quiet.

I like to sleep in a dark room and we were on the street side beside the lighted HOTEL sign so we got a lot of ambient light. I slept with my head under the covers but an eye mask would have worked as well. Slept well every night. Also I was thinking we were closer to the old city but it was so easy and cheap by the Taxis it might have been better anyway We were also in Ramadan but but restaurants opened at night near our hotel. And shopping for local was half price of the Old Town

It is old school hotel and we loved it. The entrance to the building reminded me like from the movies with all that flags, reception and own style. I think it is good value for the money and really good location if you come by train, because it is like quick 5min walk up street from it and also it is not far away from CTM bus station where you can take bus to go to Chefchaouen (10 minutes walk from the mosque which is little bit upper street from hotel) . Even if room furniture felt a little old, everything is clean, taken care of and was there for comfortable stay: stand for suitcase to put on, sockets next to beds, beds to sleep, TV, powerful AC, good Internet signal. We were served breakfast and it included many things like fresh pastries, yogurt, juice and tea/coffee. In front of hotel is small supermarket where you can get little snacks. Medina and all sightseeings are quite far away, so it is faster to get taxi there, but if you don't mind walking like us, it is walkable as well with weather not being too hot.

It s quite clean in a nice location you can find cafes restaurants also you go to the mall with à carrefour supermarket near Macdonald, walk 15 minutes to be there. Try to buy from there, as the shops near the train station are quite expensive. The staff are very nice, Mr otman is a very decent man so kind , so helpful, you will feel safe secure and it s near the train station 3 minutes, taxis are around. From the airport I got a taxi it costs 15 euro to the hotel. Once landed, change only a small amount to pay the taxi, nearby the hotel there is shops to change currency much better than in the airport. Thanks for all the staff.

Outside hotel roads not safe

This hotel was ideally located just one street over from the Train station. The room was large and met all our needs. We had a lovely view over the distant mountains and the area was quiet and safe to walk around. The Wi-Fi was strong, with routers on every floor. The hotel had a lift which made it much easier to move our luggage up to our room. The hotel did not have breakfast included, but that didn't matter to us as we had an early flight to catch the following day.

We had an overnight stay at Perla as it was close to the railway station. Perla was ideal for this and we had a comfortable and pleasant stay. The hotel decor is a little tired in places but still represents good value. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast excellent.

Despite being reassured by the property that our very late arrival would be no problem there was no one at the door. The concierge had no idea of our late arrival but was helpful.

It was a nice short stay, since we were flying back to Europe from Fes. Since hotel is situated in the new town, outside (but not too far away) of medina, it granted us comfortable access to the airport and ability to find a free parking fast and with no hustle. Everything else was just as needed, clean room, comfortable beds, calm amd quiet street and friendly and helpful staff. The hotel also offers a hammam which costs 150 dirhams per person, but needs to be reserved upfront.

Id suggest staff to check on booking.com messages more often, since we couldn’t reach them morning before we arrived on reserving the hammam.

Location - very close to the railway station, which we found very convenient, and in a nice area in the new part of the city, with plenty of places to eat. This does mean that it was relatively far (3-4 km) from the old city, but we found it a pleasant walk to get there, and otherwise there is no shortage of willing taxi drivers. Very nice room with balcony; the breakfast was the usual egg/cream cheese/jam/bread/croissant/orange juice/yoghurt/coffee, and plenty of it. All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

perfect location just near the Fes station..needed a room before we travelled home..hotel was typical for this..Room was clean..we had two single beds as this was all option for our stay.very comfortable..the bathroom as always could do with a freshen up, breakfast served from 7.30am..was ok and enough to eat .

for the price and location ..nothing..as said bathroom needed a freshen up..
