The staff was super friendly and helpful at all times. The pool was great with music and a small bar that surved dilishes cocktails and snacks/food. The gym was great too, very well equipped for a hotel gym. The Italian restaurant was also excellent, troed several dishes and all were tasty. Breakfast selection was great too.

No taxi arrangement available. You have to walk out of the hotel to the main street and wait for a taxi to drive by and hail it. Really? In a 5 star hotel? I'm sure this can and should be fixed somehow. Was not a huge deal luckily, never waited more than a few min. And in their defence, the staff said they can call us a car from one of their partner transport companies. But prices were much higher than regular cabs.

Our stay here was excellent. The staff were always and extremely courteous. The facilities were clean and well maintained. The gym was superb, the spa wonderful and the pool and area wonderful. The two restaurants (Eat & the Moroccan) were wonderful, the food was great and the staff amazing. The room was very spacious and extremely comfortable and quiet. We were on the garden side. The balcony was a really nice place to sit out and have our coffee or just relax.

The only thing that could have been better was a lower price for the breakfast buffet. 300 MAD is a little too much if you are not a big eater. You can order breakfast a la cart to your room and it is cheaper but no one wants to eat in there room all the time.

Marriott hotels never disappoint. Facilities were amazing and we were kindly let check in at 11am after coming down from Tangier. Beds were comfortable, room was spotless and the pool and poolside bar were a dream after spending 5 hours on a train.

The hotel is located quite far away from any action and you will need taxis to and from areas like the Medina or any tourist attractions.

Breakfast was great, although the young Moroccan staff could use some more training. The variety of food was outstanding. The hotel sits on lavish grounds and is a beautiful property inside and out. I wish it was closer to the Fes medina, as taxis in and out of there were often a problem. Fes is a very interesting place to visit and I would recommend it - and the Marriot - to anyone.

I hate to say this, but I wish the staff could speak better English, as I don't peak Arabic. Sometimes the communication was difficult. The hotel is far from the medina but it's gorgeous and comfortable. My bed had two mattresses side by side, not a queen or a king size one. Minor problem for me, as I was sleeping alone, but for a couple it could be an issue.

Excellent, excellent, excellent! Everything, staff, restaurants, waiters, music, etc. The room was perfect, big, clean, etc. Lobby is excellent.

Reception staff needs to re-read the Marriott Frequent Cliënt options. Sometimes it was maybe a bit tiring to be explaining what the gold or platinum Marriott card can offer.

This hotel has a very spacious setup. We enjoyed the large pool and well equipped fitness room. It all felt really clean. Staff was also very helpful, but this varied from time to time, especially in the breakfast area. On less busy times the staff had time to have an informal chat, but on busy moments staff was too occupied with day to day operations.

Not a big con, but we've asked the staff multiple times whether it was possible to have some gluten free food for breakfast the next day. Staff replied that they would be able to arrange something. Next morning it turned out that they didn't arrange anything. This happened twice and is just not in line with 5-star service.

A luxurious megahotel hosting two restaurants (Moroccan and international) and a cafe. The room was large, comfortable and impeccably clean. The pool and fitness centre (incl. a sauna and a hammam) were a welcome addition. Easily accessible by car, which is an advantage over many establishments in the medina.

Due to its size and international character the hotel lacks a bit of authenticity and Moroccan soul, despite its appealing decor. That is of course something you would expect of a chain hotel and after all it is very subjective. Located some way from the medina so you would need a taxi to get to the main sights of Fez.

Very comfortable beds, including one sofa bed, in a large suite. Great for families with kids. Huge breakfast buffet at a reasonable cost and free for kids. Good location walkable to some stores and restaurants and short drive from everything else in Fes. Tremendously helpful staff. Grounds are beautiful and relaxing. Easy parking.

Nothing to share. We enjoyed our stay!

The hotel facilities, location, layout, services and environment remains pretty much the same as it was prior to the rebrand. The Jnan Palace is truly a wonderful getaway tucked away within a busy city. I am glad that it is open and was able to stay here again this time with the family.

The sink and tub in the lower floor bathrooms are very slow drain. The mattress and pillows, I found them to be uncomfortable. In general, the brand has not done much to improve the facilities. Safe deposit boxes not available in all rooms. The landscaping around the property could be improved with a little TLC.

Fabulous hotel! We were on a road trip around Morocco and this was one of my favourite hotels. The staff were very friendly, especially the Restaurant Manager - sadly did not get his name. The Moroccan restaurant served the best Lamb Tagine I had in Morocco and the breakfast was definitely among the best we had on our trip. The swimming pool was lovely and the seating around it was very appealing. I would come back to Fes just for the hotel!

I did not realise that the location was such a distance from the Medina so we had to get a taxi but this was not the fault of the hotel and it was not a problem.
