The staff were very lovely and helpful! And provided lovely breakfast and hospitality. The location was also great and the raid was lovely

The room was very small and smelt like damp. Sadly the bathroom was separated by half doors so did not give much privacy and there was very little lighting in the room.

The dar is on the edge of the Mellah - and so is in a quiet location with easy access to the southern end of the Medina. It is more of a walk to new town and Gueliz. The pick up from the Kosy Bar in Tinsmith Square went very smoothly. The room was on the first floor and was spacious and well decorated, although there were numerous light switches and very low lighting. It was well equipped with a noisy fridge. The breakfasts are standard with other Moroccan hotels and filling. We enjoyed the views from the terrace which allowed us to see the Atlas Mountains and the new crescent moon very clearly. The staff are very friendly and helpful and always opened the door, as we didn't have a front door key. The wifi is inconsistent in its strength but we think this may be beyond the control of the dar owner and we were given access to a different network which performed much better.

Given the price of the dar, it would be worth buying a new mattress and a fridge.

Location was not far from the hustle and bustle, close to food and bars. The riad itself - my room was huge and lots of space. Very unique and the detail was beautiful. On the darker side in comparison to the other places I had stayed.

It looked like it was down what a Brit would describe as a back alley so being a single female, I did encounter issues walking down this passage. The man working the riad didn't come to the door too fast so I was stood outside alone being harassed by somebody hoping i'd be let in asap. I wish I could have spoken the same language at this point.

We stayed for 4 nights at Riad Dar Beija. We were travelling as 2 female friends. Ismail who worked at the hotel immediately made us feel safe and cared for and was always on hand to help or advise us. Said, the manager messaged us as soon as we arrived to welcome us and was on hand if we had any questions. Both Ismail and Said could not have done more for us. Our room was perfect, big, comfortable bed, lovely bathroom, plenty of hot water. It was decorated in a traditional style. A lovely cleaning lady serviced our room daily. The Riad has a lovely roof terrace with seating and sun beds. We bought our own drinks up there and watched the beautiful sunset most nights. There is also a lovely plunge pool on the ground floor which is lovely to cool off. Breakfast was plentiful and included omelettes, eggs cooked to order. The Riad is in a great location, walkable to all areas of the Medina. Learn where Bahia palace is and ask for taxis to drop you off there as it is a 2 min walk back inside the walls of Medina to the Riad. We visited Kosy Spa while we were there which is linked to the Riad. We had an amazing spa experience there and would highly recommend.

the Suite under the rooftop is absolutely romantic. it fits a comfy king size bed, a nice chimney, it is very well decorated and the use of the terrace is the plus. you will enjoy the birds singing, the sunset and the sunrise. On a February trip, we did not use the AC a single time. you have plenty of light when you open all shutters, there is more than enough room for your clothes, pc and valuables (there is also a little safe that you would not need). there are plenty of switches so you can work with the PC, plug tablets and two phones. you also have a little fridge to put some fruits or a soda.

Well, it is difficult to find something we did not like but still, a couple of hints: - we did not know we can order a meal to have in the terrace, that was our mistake, just do it (tell them 24h in advance) the rooftop is super! - there are some works in the street leading to the Riad, by night is quite a thing to walk on the pavement with the cars, the moppeds, the horses ... (you can avoid this by coming to the Riad via the synagogue museum)

I accidentally got stuck in Marrakech after missing my last train to Casablanca that night. I ended up booking this lovely riad for the night to at least have a traditional experience come out of the situation. I have to say it was the best decision. The place is phenomenal, the decorations are fantastic - the painting, the vintage chairs, the traditional Moroccan fixtures throughout - the whole riad is simply gorgeous. The bedroom felt like your own personal palace and the rooftop with a view of the central mosque, the Bahia Palace nearby and the airplanes occasionally flying in the distance over the city gave it all an incomparable travelogue atmosphere. The staff were an absolute dream as well, and I have to give a special mention to the night concierge when I was there - he was extremely helpful, even let me borrow his charger for the night and accommodated my request for an earlier breakfast in order to catch the first train back to Casablanca. It was a very short trip, but next time I will make sure to come for a longer time to properly experience Marrakech, and this is where I will be staying.

The only thing that I would flag up is that the bathtub drain in the green room does not lock, so you can't take a hot bath. Aside from this though, I think everything was just phenomenal.

Beautifully designed and decorated Riyad creating a truly immersive experience. Prime location close to many of the sites to see, we walked to most places. The staff were absolutely amazing, Saeed, Ismael and Naema treated us like family. Genuinely kind and so helpful whenever we needed them. The rooftop terrace was one of our favourite places to relax and watch the sunset with beautiful views of the Medina and the Atlas mountain.

We loved it all, hope to return!

We stayed here for 6 nights and loved it, the location was just a few minutes walk to both palaces and tinsmiths square which was great for evening meals and a coffee. Rooftop garden was an excellent place to relax after a day in Marrakesh. Our stay was a quiet haven away the bustling streets, nothing was too much trouble for staff. Thank you 😊

We liked everything.

We had a lovely stay in Dar Beja. Sayed and the team were incredibly kind and hospitable throughout our stay. The rooms were lovely and clean when we arrived and were made up each day. The location is fantastic being a 5-7 minute walk from the main square, but being just outside of the main hustle and bustle for a peaceful sleep. Having stayed in other riads in the Medina this is definitely on the nicer end of the spectrum for such a reasonable price.

- The place is beautiful, decorated with taste and very clean. - The staff was kind, caring and did everything to make of our stay an amazing experience. - The rooftop offers a beautiful view of Marrakesh roofs and of illuminated mosques' minarets. - The breakfast was gourmet. As Moroccans, we loved how traditional and tasty it was. - The hotel is perfectly located. In the heart of the Mellah neighborhood, very quiet, yet a few minutes walking distance from Jamaa Lefna.

- Everything was perfect!
