wonderful guest house at only 5 minutes from the center of Marrakech while being in the countryside. the reception staff were great. the pool is perfect under the olive trees. The restaurant is excellent, breakfast super. We were also able to enjoy the spa free for 2 days for only 49 euros per day and per person incredible. I really recommend this hotel and we'll be coming back to la ferme el dar in May for a longer stay.

Fantastic property. Welcomed with Moroccan tea and the staff were lovely. It is very relaxing, a great place to chill by the pool and still feel immersed in the Moroccan culture (unlike big hotels). Food was good, and the design of the interior communal area was stunning. Would 100% recommend and stay again. Our concern was the distance from the centre but taxis are so cheap and it was so nice to escape the busy town and relax by the pool in the sun. I wish we could have stayed longer!!

Nothing! It was amazing

Fabulous stay, we felt very looked after by everyone. The staff is friendly and always with their smile on. The place is kept clean all the time and it felt very peaceful staying at the La Ferme El Dar. It’s a little oases. If you love animals you will enjoy the sight of goats and their babies, lamb and hens and adorable cuddly cats and a peacock. The food at the resort is great and we would recommend to try just any dish they offer as it’s delicious! Highly recommended to stay at this place if you are looking for a quite restful day after visiting the city. It’s not too far to the city by a taxi drive or to/from the airport.

The tent can amplify the sounds and the cars were occasionally loud at the night time or the guests talking outdoor but nothing that was too disturbing. The swimming pool wasn’t heated.

The property was gorgeous. We loved the peaceful calm of the farm and it is a short taxi ride into Marrakech. Staff were very kind and attentive and the breakfast and lunch/ dinner food was delicious. We found ourselves cancelling our dinner reservation on the last night so that we could have dinner at the hotel again. We would definitely come back.

You do tend to hear some of the farm animals in the evening and chickens very early morning. I got used to this after the first night but you can bring earplugs if you need to. For me it was worth it, everything was amazing.

The room needed some furniture. Place to hang clothes. Also bed is very close to the walls. But otherwise, very comfortable.

The place was amazing, it really felt like heavenly idyllic oasis compared to chaotic, busy vibe of Marrakech. Perfect for animal lovers, we loved them all, from horses, sheep and goats to cats and of course the amazing peacock. Although the cats on the streets of Medina made us feel sad here we felt in love with our furry friends joining us every evening, some sitting on our laps, others meaowing loudly from the field. We hope to see them again♡ After 5 nights it was sad to say goodbye, we definitely hope to be back!

The only thing that could get some more attention is the food available in the restaurant. It was all very tasty and fresh and amazing, only not many vege options and the breakfast was every day the same :( we could use some more diversity and a plant base milk for coffee next time. Although, the moroccan mint tea was a great replacement for that ;) Also it would be an even better place if the water during winter season was heated/not as cold as it was.

The hotel has achieved a perfect balance of luxury and relaxed vibes. The location was around 15/20 minutes out of the main city, which meant it was very peaceful. The views of the mountains was a great surprise. We also loved the safari tent vibe, the large beds and Moroccan style bathrooms were finished perfectly. The main reception/restaurant area is a beautiful space. It has a classy and casual vibe for breakfast and throughout the day, and in the evening it takes on the feel of a fancy restaurant, but maintaining its relaxed feel. Also the food was 10/10 and we loved sitting there in the evening, looking out over the pool. The hotel also offers cooking classes, which we would highly recommend. The head chef Abdul taught us how to make an authentic Moroccan tagine (both meat & vegan options) in a beautiful outdoor kitchen. Loic and his team, went above and beyond to make our stay extra special throughout. We can’t wait to come back!

That we couldn’t stay for longer!

Essaid and his entire staff were simply wonderful. Nothing was too much trouble, with everyone going out of their way to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The setting is so beautiful with the pool surrounded by olive trees and the accommodation full of rustic charm and character. Breakfast was superb; incredibly tasty muffins, breads, honey and pastries with a choice of eggs every morning. A really calm and chilled oasis, far enough away from the madness of the Medina but close enough for easy trips in. We had a truly delightful stay at Hotel La Ferme El Dar.

If you are a light sleeper, I’d suggest taking some earplugs to block out the early morning noises from the local wildlife. Beautifully comfortable beds though, so you’ll get a good night’s rest!

We have just had an amazing 5 night break at this hotel. We were apprehensive about the rooms as they are unusual but this just added to the whole experience of Moroccan culture/authenticity! It really is a little piece of paradise hidden just on the outskirts away from the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh. A visit to the Souks and Medina are a short taxi ride away and all excursions can be booked through the hotel. The staff are so friendly, we cannot thank them enough. They went above and beyond to ensure we had the best stay and they all work really hard! The food is excellent with lots of choice. The rooms are cleaned daily and as are the grounds. There’s a small farm and the animals are well looked after and this speaks volumes to me as an animal lover. I really cannot find anything to fault and we are already looking to go back in March next year.

The tent was fantastic big comfy bed and large walk in showerr with towels and bath robes. We had a small private area at back with sunbeds and a big bed near the pool to sunbathe.

Staff were lovely apart from the owner , she nevrr spoke to us once while we were there , she spent most of her time walking up and down looking down her nose. We were at the bar area and she pulled up a male staff member to tell him in english that she was dropping his wages due to food gping missing and he wouldnt be getting paid his full wage till she had looked into it and that all the staff were being treated the same. Very unprofessional to do that . You would think an owner wpuld stock check regularly. And not do this in front of customers. She alone has put us off staying again.
