good location, beautiful pool at the hotel. beautiful furniture and decor make this place very special. lovely breakfast. nice touches like fires lit in the fireplaces in the cool mornings and at tea time. tea served with very nice cakes.

out of town location would be attractive in hot weather but pool there (illustrated on the website) was very cold. our room was very well appointed but very noisy in the mornings, possibly located close to the laundry. very tasty dinner on the lovely rooftop was quite expensive (relative to local prices) at $30 US for a main course.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at this gorgeous hotel. It is in the Medina in a great location, walkable to lovely restaurants and shops. A 20 min taxi ride from the airport and 5 mins taxi from Jardin Marjorelle and the YSL museum. The hotel is gorgeous, all cosy nooks, seating areas and courtyard. The breakfast was delicious and the freshly made Moroccan pancakes were amazing. Our room had a balcony overlooking the garden and pool and the bed was amazingly comfy. The staff were so attentive and couldn’t do enough for us (special mention to Ahmed for helping us with our bags and taxi’s and the lovely reception staff). We had the most wonderful hammam and massages at the hotel spa. A totally wonderful stay. Would highly recommend this hotel and will be returning !

Wow! What a great stay! The hotel was beautiful, the air con worked well (a must in August) and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were fantastic and could not have been more helpful. On the first day they very kindly let me check in 3 1/2 hours early as we had arrived early from somewhere else. The pool at the sister hotel was amazing, definitely do the trip out. The food in the restaurant was great (albeit expensive for Marrakech but you expect that in a hotel and the setting round the pool was beautiful). We had such a lovely time and would definitely come back. Highly recommend

One night there was a noisy cat that howled outside my room at 3am but he went away when shooed!

A house beautifully furnished with a lot of love and art in a quiet but centrally located alley. What is special is the attentive, competent, friendly staff in all areas who care about the well-being of their guests anytime. I will dream a while of the patisserie pastries i got for afternoon tea there. Oh, what's amazing is of course the pool, which you can take a shuttle to so we can relax in a quiet garden in Marrakech.

the stay should have been longer

Unbelievable place. We could not fault this beautiful place. From the moment we were served our complimentary cocktail, through to the AMAZING cooking school experience we had booked, and also to the beautiful country club (that this Marrakesh guesthouse owns and allows guests the use of) we were treated with such kind and professional service. La Maison Arabe is a stunning, quiet antedote to the clamour of activity in and around the main square Jemaa el-Fna. It was just wonderful to escape back into the cool ambience behind the front door, after an intense evening out in Marrakech. I loved all the little touches, like putting rose blossoms into the small water fountains, and the myriad of unusual lanterns that lit up in the garden in the evenings. Thank you. A memorable stay.

If you want the Riad experience with a 5 Star type vibe, this is where to go. The facilities are gorgeous and breakfast by the pool is amazing. The location is great as well, only about a 5-10 minute walk from the Souks and Khoutubia.

The location is in the Medina but it is in an area with what I perceived to be higher-end shopping. It was easy for our driver to find a place to dorp us. We stayed in another area of the Medina previously and it was harder for drivers to find and it was closer to the more industrial parts of the medina...metal workers, etc. Both are interesting.

There are lots of stairs as part of these old houses that have been converted. If you have bad knees or a bad back it may not be the place for you.

It is a beautiful hotel, stylishly decorated. The staff went out of their way to ensure that everything we wanted to plan around our stay, went smoothly and to our total convenience. We enjoyed the Hamman Spa and treatments and the Country Club was very accessible and we went twice to enjoy pool days; all of the staff there were very hospitable. The location is a convenient 15 minute walk to Le Jardin Majorelle through a local souk & pretty coffee shops.

Brilliant staff throughout and wonderful location in the Medina - a few minutes stroll to the Souks. This historic Rhiad has a lovely traditional Hammam spa, cookery school and pool plus offsite gardens, larger pool and food/drinks all available via complementary shuttle….. as a base to explore this historic city for us as a couple perfect. If you want modern and flashy go elsewhere - if you like brilliant old fashioned service, great food in a central tranquil setting I would commend La Maison Arabe to you.

Authentic riad style boutique hotel on the edge of the medina walls. Beautifully furnished and decorated. Love the piano bar and breakfast round the pool. Excellent restaurant and super friendly and professional staff.

Our room was very small. When we stayed before we paid more for a bigger room. Will Do that next time. Restaurant is expensive for Marrakesh.
