Beautiful property,clean,beautiful and calm. located in the heart of the medina. helpful staff, filling breakfast. The staff really went out of their way to help us they were kindly nice. specially when they surprise our little son with a beautiful gift in his birthday. I recommend this riad it was excellent

What a stay! Marrakesh is worth the experience alone, but this riad made it really special for me and my wife. It’s a little riad, placed close to the marketplace, 5 minutes walk from the drop-off. Very clean rooms. Big enough for two with a lot of luggage. We really enjoyed having breakfast on the terrasse. Khalid and Akub took very good care of us! We gained a lot of knowledge about the culture in Marrakesh and Maroc itself. Thank you for the great recommendations all around the city and for all the time we talked about life. If anybody needs something, you are the guys they can talk to! We are wishing you all the best!

The staff was very kind and helpful: Ayoub and Khalid, thank you so much for all your help and for taking care of us by booking some of our visits (desert and hammam), taxis, accompanying us to some places, buying a fan for our room! WiFi was working well, breakfast was delicious and abundant! The riad is tiny and lovely and very close to jamâa el Fna square.

We did not notice while booking that our room was without aircon and so we asked for a fan. Just as advice: maybe all rooms should be equipped with Aircon in future but as said Ajoub looked for a solution!

I traveled to Marrakech on short notice to attend the wedding of a former college friend who originally comes from Morocco and now lives in Germany. About the hotel: The Riyad Hayad Hotel is very centrally located in Marrakech, just a short walk from Djemaa el Fna. The hotel is very affordable, so one cannot expect everything to be furnished with high-end furniture. From my perspective, it is intended as a place to sleep, and it fulfills this purpose perfectly. WiFi is also available, and a small breakfast is included. My experience: I booked for just one night and had to check out by 12:00 noon. My plan was to go to my friend's wedding afterward. Unexpectedly, my former college friend did not respond to my message at 8:00 AM in a timely manner. He only replied at 7:00 PM, leaving me lost in Marrakech between 12:00 and 7:00 PM. Thanks to the hotel staff, Khalid and Ayoub, I was allowed to leave my belongings in the reception area and use the hotel's toilets and WiFi in between my walks outside. That day, I was very emotional, and the two receptionists were there for me and listened to me. Because of their kindness and support, this hotel definitely deserves 5 stars. The guys that work here are excellent! Super friendly and really responsive in answering any questions we had. Breakfast was also plentiful. Bread, honey, cheese, eggs, jam and peanut butter. Room was clean and the riad is spacious. When we needed random things like a cup, the guys were really sweet in providing these things for us. They were also so so helpful answering any questions we had including public transport to our next destination etc. They whatsapped me the day of my arrival to know when I was coming and helped answer questions about how to get there. The location is super super central because you're seconds away from the square so you can't complain :)

Walls are thin so expect to hear noises in the night. We were tired every night so it didn't prevent us from a sound sleep but it's still easy to hear everything. The keys didn't lock except after tugging and yanking the room keys but it didn't really bother me much. I tried to do a zoom video meeting through their wifi and intermittently it dropped a lot. That said, for general Internet needs, it was perfect, just couldn't handle a really heavy video meeting.

The location very close to the main square and restaurants and shops is great , also many taxis in the area. The staff are excellent, informative and friendly. Decent sized room and bathroom, and generous tasty breakfast

I scored the Hotel 8 it would have been a 9 but for our room location . On the ground floor with the window opening into the reception area . And the room door also , you can hear every visitor to reception as if they were in your room at the end of your bed. If you can here them , they can hear you , felt like no privacy . Appart from that , great hotel.

The location was excelent, super near the main square. The wifi worked very fast. Breakfast was amazing, and they kindly offered us breakfast to go the day we left at 4am. Both guys of the staff were super kind, they arranged us the transfer for the airport, offered to print our boarding passes and were also always willing us to have the best experience in our stay. Would come back to Riad Hayat for sure!

There were some times that it was difficult to find the staff guys in the hotel, specially if you're almost the whole day out. But not a big issue

My brief stay at this Riad was a testament to its remarkable hospitality. Though I could only spend a night due to my travel schedule, I am certain that had my trip been longer, this would have been my ultimate home base. I cannot help but express my sheer satisfaction. Now, let me rave about the staff – these folks are the true champions of early mornings and service! The exceptional staff made our early checkout seamless, going above and beyond by preparing a delicious breakfast and packing some delightful food to take along, even escorting us to our car. Talk about superstar service! They have a true commitment to cleanliness, and the location is unbeatable, you're only a short walk from the main sqaure. The overall experience surpassed any expectations. Undoubtedly, I eagerly anticipate returning to this Riad for my next trip.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience overall, but if I were to nitpick, there was one tiny detail that caught my attention: the overly friendly cat who, with the best of intentions, persistently scratched at our door in the wee hours, eager to join us in the room.
