It's in a great location, small shops to buy water in are close by, it's close to the markets and smaller square market and only about a 5-10 minute walk to Jemma el fna. The staff were really friendly and helpful, they stayed up very late when our flight was delayed to greet us from our taxi. I would recommend maps.me as a map to locate the Riad as the side roads it's on are quite confusing to navigate when you're trying to find the Riad for the first time. The breakfast was really good, there were large portions every morning that changed slightly each day and they made hot drinks on request and really flexible times on when you could eat. The interior aesthetics were nice and tranquil. The wifi worked well in our ground floor room.

There was a very small bottle of water left in the fridge on the first day, but it didn't get topped up after that so you have to buy lots when you're out. We stayed in the bottom floor room which opened out onto the open square area of the Riad which meant we couldn't open the windows and doors and made the room very dark, I would try to stay upstairs, the beds are also very hard. The taxi service they offer is quite expensive, we wanted to go to the bus station which is half the distance compared to the airport but it was a set same price for all journeys, so would have been £18 for their service compared to £5 for a local taxi. The pool isn't heated so it's a bit cold and therefore it was hardly used.

The absolute best thing about the Riad were the wonderful staff. Fahd and the team were super at making us feel welcome, providing laughs and recommendations and being real 'gems' of Morocco! Thank you for everything you did to make our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We've already recommended the Riad to others and told to factor in a lovely conversation with Fahd, Ayoub and the team as part of their stay. Room was airy, peaceful and beautifully decorated. Large bathroom with great showers and super soft towels. Lovely biscuits and tea offered on arrival, and plenty of place to relax in the common area when it was raining outside. Terrace on the roof gives a really lovely view of the surrounding area and we recommend having a drink up there.

- Airport shuttle, would be great if we could be sent a map about how to travel from the drop off to the Riad, perhaps Maps.Me sent before we arrived? - The owner was visiting at the time, and it would have been nice for her to engage a little with those of us in the court yard, especially as our meal was interrupted and delayed by her arrival / going for dinner, which made us feel like we were intruding on her space.

I loved everything about this stay- the location, the ambience, amenities, staff, rooms, food! This riad is located right in the center of the medina - Jemaa al fnaa is located 9 minutes by walking. Fahd was a gem of a person and so kind, courteous and helpful throughout our stay. He went out of his way to attend to us at multiple occasions and we were sincerely thankful. Overall it's a great place to stay if you are looking for something that's something great but not hurting your pocket!

It's at the end of a lane with a narrow alleyway. But Morroco is safe and the staff can always meet you at the main road if required.

We (late 20s female travellers) could not recommend Riad Les Ammonites enough. From the welcome with mint tea and kind words to being guided to our transfer at the end of the trip, they could not have done more to help us. The riad itself is absolutely beautiful, safe, clean and an oasis of calm in the bustle of Marrakech medina. The rooms are huge and beautifully decorated. But the staff are even better. They helped us with everything, from restuarant recommendations, organising massages, and even preparing dinners and sourcing wine when we decided on a whim to stay in one night. Nothing is too much trouble, and we simply could not recommend Les Ammonites and all its lovely staff enough. We are already planning our next trip - THANK YOU LES AMMONITES!

It’s a beautiful Riad with amazing plants around the pool, well styled rooms, and a lovely rooftop with a variety of seating and great views. Breakfast was delicious. We arrived late and the staff were very accommodating. We managed to find our way by using maps.me as we had no data or sim - the door was marked and simple enough to find. It was a good central location for exploring the medina.

Absolutely amazing stay. Fahd is brilliant, and made us feel so comfortable and welcome in the city and made our trip. He helped organise day trips, tours and transfers which is absolutely brilliant - and was always on hand to come collect us if we got lost. Plus was great to chat to at the end of the day. The other staff at the Riad were so lovely as well. The location is great. Easy to get to the main square once you get your bearings. Rooms are very good. Always clean and spacious. We also really valued the night porter who stayed outside the riad, which made is feel safe. Breakfast was great and varied with some Moroccan delicacies on offer. We also really liked terrace which was great at the end of a busy day

Nothing really. Wifi was sometimes a little patchy but Fahd did everything he could - including getting a wifi extender in the room; again so appreciated.

Really beautiful riad tucked away down an alley in the heart of the medina. Rooms are nice and spacious and well decorated. Breakfast was great. Staff super kind and helpful. Nice sunset view from the rooftop. We were working during our stay, and the wifi was solid on the ground floor. We originally had a second floor room but the wifi wasn't strong enough there, so they moved us downstairs and we had no issues. Pool is small but super refreshing to cool off on a hot Marrakech day. We were here during low season in the middle of summer, so other guests were limited. Most of our stay it felt like we have a private riad to ourselves! Even though it's in the medina it's super tranquil in the riad. Just be warned that once you emerge from the riad you'll be in the thick of the hectic world outside.

Mattresses and pillows could use an upgrade. Needs another router on the second floor and rooftop to improve the wifi for those areas, as well as the study room on the ground floor.

The entire home was tastefully decorated with comfortable accommodations. Staff was friendly and kind, and although the aftershock of the earthquake did some damage in the medina, Ayube did an excellent job or reassured us that we would be fine in his care. Breakfast was also delicious 😋 With sincere thanks.

Good services. Lovely interior decoration. Nice vibe. The staff at this Riad were very helpfull and friendly. We ended up staying an extra day and rather than having us move rooms they arranged for us to keep the same room. The room was well presented and the gardens were beautiful. Breakfast was delicious - especially the Moroccan dessert that we had tasted the morning we left.

The Wifi did not meet expectations and was extremely slow... Since our room is located on the ground floor next to the small swimming pool, when the swimming pool changes water in the morning, and when other guests talk loudly while eating breakfast on the ground terrace, we did feel a bit annoying.

We booked the entire Riad out for a birthday and the team at the were absolutely fantastic, from the moment we arrived to when we left they helped us with everything we needed and even took at around the souks/showed us where to eat. We have a amazing catered dinner one night for my partners 30th birthday were they went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.
