very nice area, the rooms are pretty new

no amenities, no breakfast, no daily cleaning room

The location of the hotel was amazing, super close to the center of Amsterdam. About 15 minutes by walk, and also close to tram and metro stations. The room was small but comfortable and super clean . Hot water and water pressure were excellent. There was a lot of smell to we3d in the hallways (even though smoking was prohibited). We didn’t mind but this may not be the best place if you travel with children. There are stores around the corner so you can get water and snacks.

The bathroom didn’t have a proper shower curtain or door so the water leaked a bit and we had to put a towel on the floor, but it was nothing terrible.

The room nr 9 very spacious and quiet. Close to Rembrand squire and Albert Cuip market.

I missed an electric kettle.

The facilities were basic but there was everything we needed, more or less - hair dryer, soap etc. The location was fantastic, and close to a cafe with a fantastic breakfast (the hotel does not do breakfast). The beds were really comfy, and the room was warm (too warm for my friend, in fact!).

We had to ask for clean towels. There was really nowhere to hang up wet towels, which is why we asked for more. There wasn't a lot of space to put clothes in a room designed for 3 people, though it didn't feel at all cramped.

Perfect location, a few minutes walk from a tram stop. The room had 4 single beds, perfect for our group of 4. Clean room & tea/coffee facilities downstairs even if you didn't include breakfast in your booking. Hosts were lovely & even had our room ready earlier than our check in time which was a great help, helped us with our bags up to the room. Hotel is very secure, even the front door has a key card.

If I had to really pick fault (which I dont want to) it would be the lack of full length mirror & somewhere to hang your clothes. That said, we only went for three nights so we just lived out of our bags which wasn't an issue! The stairs are steep but that's made absolutely clear on the description & didn't cause me too much of an issue (I have arthritis in my knees), just take them slow!

Great location. 17 min walk to the museum 'square' ( Rijks Museum, Van Gogh museum, MOCO museum and many many others). Also close to the tram and metro station, @8min away from Rembrand square (lots of bars and a few clubs). The room was clean and warm.

Poor choices for breakfast. I think they had just cereals and rice crisps, so I would advice not to choose breakfast included options, but rather go to the coffee bars (there are a few of them close by).

Value for money was really good. Big room, enough space for two people. Our expectations were rather exceeded since the price was cheaper compared to other accommodations and we were expecting something more casual.

Only thing I can point out is that we had a family staying next door and from time to time we heard baby's crying pretty loud, but it was only a few times so I wouldn't really consider it a shortcoming.

Super beautiful room, extremely friendly staff, charming old building with not too many rooms and fantastic location.

Maybe lacks a little coffee corner with sofas to chill next to the terrace. Just a suggestion. And better internet connection.

It's a great hotel in the centre of Amsterdam in a very quiet street. The transport is available from the train and bus stations and the main sights. The receptionists are very polite and helpful. The room was small, but cosy.

The stairs to the third floor were tricky, especially if you have knee problems. The window was dirty and no fridge, just a small one for this price.

Room very clean, comfortable and in a great location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. When my son left his phone in a taxi the staff member went above and beyond contacting a taxi company to try to locate the phone. It wasn't found but I greatly appreciate the effort and kind words to my 16yr old son.

Other guests came back to their rooms at around 3am and were noisy which woke me up on 2 nights. Tea or coffee making would have been nice.
