The staff was exceptionally kind and forthcoming. I liked the food, both for breakfast and lunch. The hotel is easily accessible from/to the airport and the shuttle connection (from a larger hotel nearby) is frequent and convenient. I was also allowed to stay a bit longer in my room (check out 13:30 instead of 11:00).

The window in my room did not shut fully and it was cold in the room, despite the heating fully on. In other circumstances I would have certainly made a fuss, but I was tired after the whole day and late evening at the airport (my flight was cancelled) and I fell asleep in my socks within minutes. I discovered the problem with the window in the morning - I even asked the cleaning lady to shut the window to make sure it's not my lack of skill (she didn't manage). I was tired and slept well, so it's forgotten.

It is not inside the city which is a real charm ever since you can rest absolutely in silence. Besides you can explore around and see different styles of house than in the city. You have to be very organized to stay here and enjoy your days in Amsterdam cuz it takes not less than 45 minutes from the hotel to the city. Not because it is far but because you have to wait the shuttle to the airport and from there to take the 15 minutes train.

There's actually nothing I dislike.

It was quaint, close to the airport, clean, roomy and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. We went for a walk before supper and felt very safe. The restaurant was also lovely and the staff was knowledgeable about celiac and gluten free. We really enjoyed our supper and the breakfast. There were many gluten free options for breakfast. Thank you to all of the amazing staff.

The free Ramada shuttle from the airport took us to the Ramada, about a 5 minute walk from the Herbergh which was very convenient. Herbergh staff booked the return shuttle for us and the shuttle cost 5 euro which was a reasonable price. The hotel staff were great - very friendly and helpful with finding gluten and dairy free options in the hotel restaurant. The food was good as was the breakfast. A pleasant overnight stay when flying out the next day. Took all the stress out of getting to the airport.

The hotel is under new ownership and the ongoing renovations will provide a good update to the dated facilities. Still a comfortable place to stay!

The room was very clean and showed exactly what I expected. It is nice located close to the airport and the breakfast is outstanding, whover extra of the room charge.

The only think not good of my stay was that next to my room a very noisy family with small children running up and down the hall and knocking the door constantly made disturb some hours of rest. Besides this everything was great! Congratulations Hotel Herbergh AMS Airport!

The location is great, very close to the airport, and there is free parking on the premises. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Loved that I could boil my own tea and do some work with the fast wifi. Definitely recommend for travelers trying to stay close to the airport.

The bathroom towel hooks were not really hooks so had to hang the towel on the rod below the sink, which is fine, but just a very minor inconvenience.

It was a wet and blustery evening and as it was already nearing midnight, I was looking forward to a shower and a fresh bed. The receptionist was friendly and reserved a seat for me on the shuttle bus for 6.30 am. The room had everything a traveller requires. I will return.

I was grateful to find somewhere reasonably priced with a cozy, comfortable feel so close to the airport after my flight was cancelled. The airport shuttle was a huge bonus for me. After an exhausting and emotional time trying to navigate cancelled flights and logistics, the young man at the front desk was so friendly and lovely and carried my heavy bag up the stairs with such willingness, it was wonderful.

The restaurant is very good and the location is not bad, since it is close to Schipol. You may use the shuttle to the airport or a bus ride to the city. Recommended if you are on a business trip, since you can enjoy Amsterdam when having some free time. Rooms are very decent in size and well equipped.

The vacuum noise early morning in the weekend. Usually, during the weekends people sleep a bit longer and vacuuming the corridors on a Saturday morning seems a bit too much.

The property managers were very accommodating and responsive. I booked a room for my young niece, a solo traveler who had to re-route her holiday trip to Madrid from Frankfurt to Amsterdam because of flight cancellations, and their immediate responses assured me that my niece would feel safe and taken cared of. The quaint property and location were also an added bonus for her short but pleasant stay. It was not your usual transit or "airport hotel," which was great.
