I really like everything, the rooms are big enough, with a balcony, and the huge plants in the hall that make you feel like you are in the forest. The multiple facilities really help to treat and pamper yourself, from the spa, the swimming pool and the gym. I enjoyed it so much that I wanted to extend my stay for an extra night, but unfortunately, I didn’t; being during the weekend, they didn’t have my room available for the extra night; therefore, I had to relocate to a different room and was slightly pricier than I expected.

Because of my late arrival, I struggled to get something to eat or even a bite after 10.30 pm.

Hotel Jakarta is one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in, every detail is a stunning adventure throughout a jungle inspired dream! Delicious breakfast, wonderful room service options & a fabulous bakery on site also. The staff made me feel extra special on my birthday, offering complimentary champagne at breakfast which was lovely. The view from the rooms are exceptional, we had a river view suite and it was perfect. Great location & really can’t recommend this hotel enough!

The only thing I could offer as an improvement would be the pool to be heated, it wasn’t warm at all sadly. A jacuzzi or hot tub would be an incredible feature to add, especially for the colder months.

What can I say, this hotel is excellent!! The atmosphere and the comfort are amazing. The rooms are super comfortable and spacious. Only wish that the shower had a sliding door to keep the draft out. But everything else was perfect. I even loved that the TV would rise out of the footboard. Very easy to get around, by taking bus 43 which is a minute walk away or a quick 5-7min walk over the bridge to catch a Tram. Don’t get a cab since it’ll cost around €25-35 to get into the center of town which is 2-3km away. The Cafe Jkrt has amazing food, and the breakfast was divine. At 5pm the bar at the 8th floor would open up and you can catch the sunset while having cocktails. Loved this hotel, and can’t wait to stay here again.

The shower did. it have a door, so there was a draft.

The room itself was v large with a super king sized bed. We had both a bath and a separate shower which was a treat. Decor of the hotel was lovely. I had a fab massage in the spa.

The service in the restaurant was a bit slow but having said that the food itself was lovely.

A beautiful modern hotel in a quiet, riverfront location on Java Island. It is a short walk across the bridge to Tram 26 and 2 stops to Central Station. Reception was friendly and efficient. The room is simply stunning with a veranda overlooking the port and cruise terminal, clean modern bathroom and refrigerator. Breakfast was very good in a spacious restaurant.

Initially I thought the hotel was too far out of town but I soon realised the location was perfect, just a short tram ride or 20 minute walk to the centre of the city. We loved the peace and quiet of the island, away from the bustle of the central city. BTW, I’m from Australia, not HongKong as reported by Booking.com

The whole hotel was fantastic, we splashed out and got a suite as it was our honeymoon and we are so glad we did. The room was just perfect with the most perfect view especially of the sunset, bed was lovely, everything about the room was perfect and clean. Was an added bonus having a mini fridge in the room and we were also left a bottle of prosecco on arrival. Breakfast was delicious and so was the dinner which we had on the first night due to arriving late due to a cancelled flight. Staff were super helpful and hotel was extremely clean throughout. Location for us was perfect as could reach all parts of Amsterdam via Bus / Tram / Taxi / Bike or Ferry... what more could you want?

Literally not a single thing I can fault on this trip. Maybe pricing in the Malabar could have been a bit more keen but you do expect to pay the prices when staying somewhere like this.

Great location and ambience. The restaurant was awesome also, both for meals and late evening drinks. Walking distance to some if the sights in Amsterdam, but also bus service just across the street, and tram service a half km (across the bridge)

Room was a bit odd. Bathroom light was automatic and stayed on for 10 minutes after use. Toilet room frosted glass. Shower is clear glass and exposed to the entry. There is a sliding panel that can block out the light and add some privacy, but it was not obvious and we did not find out it could be closed until late in our stay. Also the switch controlling one of the lights in the bedroom was difficult to find.

The hotel is lovely although the views were not very good but what can I say, it is in the middle of a city. I received welcoming WhatsApps which even gave me directions on how to get there from Amsterdam Centraal, this was invaluable. Everything about my stay was great, breakfast was pleasantly edible, staff polite and attentive. Rooms clean and comfortable. It was a n exploring break so we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel To top it off we decided to finish our minibreak with relaxing massages -they were perfect.

There was not anything that I can say I did not like, Apart from the views which cannot be helped, I was happy with everything else. Infact we are looking at re-booking here in the near future.

Excellent location and impressive decor and style. Very tasty continental breakfast with fresh ingredients. Really great views, comfy bed, spacious bathtub, modern rooms with unique wood features. Wonderful views of the river and very friendly staff. Very nice and clean spa facilities. Unique water jet functions in the swimming pool. Massage onsite was great too. Tasty room service but options to dine in are too limited for a European hotel.

Would have preferred normal coffee/tea cups instead of paper ones. Toilet didn't have a bin or water hose. The wardrobe magnet was too strong to open. The breakfast was nice and fresh but hot options were very limited and boring. Coffee could be improved. When the balcony is open the sound is too loud because of the construction near the bridge. It is bit weird to ask international guests to use the spa facilities without swimwear.

Nice stylish hotel. Eco themed and very relaxing Great view. Stuff is accommodating, nothing to complain about. Really liked the reusable water bottles in the fridge. They take €100 for deposit, but the money go back right after you check out.

Breakfast is open table and not a lot of choices, only basic things like eggs and bread, was really missing some potatoes or a salad. I think technically you're not supposed to smoke on the balcony (there's a sign), but no one said anything during check in, so I smoked there anyway and didn't get any charges.
