Everything was fine, the hotel, the room, the bathroom and the other people at the reception

Only one night we were late and there was a man from African countries at the reception, I knocked on the door as I didn't know now how to open the door, he was very aggressive with after I knocked on the door, he was very aggressive whith me even when I entered the hotel, everything else was fine, I was very satisfied with everything and I believe that I will come back to Hotel New Kit

The room was modern and very comfortable. I had an internal room, which was perfectly fine as there was effective lighting within the room. Beautiful back lit picture of the canals on the wall, offering subtle lighting. Towels were lovely and fluffy. Sheets of good quality and were ironed. Jug and coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. The shower had rain head and regular options. Plenty of hot water and shower soap/shampoo provided. Heatpump or aircon in the room, and it worked! Lovely big tv on the wall. Lift available...also working. Great variety of shops within 3 minute walk. I liked the 24 hr Reception

Was a bit of a challenge getting to the hotel from Amsterdam Central train station. I had to get an Uber in the morning for my early flight from Schipol airport at a cost of €48. Reception arranged this for me and worked a treat. ( My flight was too early for trams or busses -except night bus). Just a thought....it would be great to have tram instructions from Central Amsterdam on website. This is out west and I found the tram app confusing.

Very nice hotel! the staff is very kind and helpful, is really well located (literally right next to a metro and tram/bus station) and the rooms are super clean and comfortable equiped with everything necessary for a nice staying

Only negative is the fact that my room (single bed one) didn’t have any windows, it was completely closed wich i don’t recall that being menciones in the booking page. And that was very desorienting regarding the time and the weather specially in a place like Amsterdam where it rains a lot out of the blue, but apart from that everything was great.

Location of the hotel is acceptable, it is a bit far to center however every transportation system is so close to hotel, with these way it is only 10-15 mins to center. Room and bathroom were very clean and the owner and also the personel were very helpful and gentle. Thank you Hotel New Kit.

The location was excellent! right next to (3 min walk) the metro station which was not only reasonably priced (15 euros for two days travel) but also very easy to navigate into Amsterdam central and back. The room we had was modern, clean and tidy, we requested a room with a window when booking as we read reviews to say some rooms did not have windows, and they honored this when we checked in, the bathroom was also modern, tea and coffee making facilities and a hair dryer in the room

Very small niggle that the room I booked was a twin room to share with my daughter and the bathroom/toilet doors were unfrosted glass with no locks so it meant going to the toilet and showering was a little awkward, the bath towels were small and didn't cover a door.

The hotel is located in a quiet part of the city, which is just a few steps away from a metro and tram station, through which you can reach every part of the city. The trip by tram or bus to the city center is about 20 minutes. The staff are very kind and helpful in every way. The rooms are small but contain everything needed for a few nights. It's great that towels and shampoo bottles are changed every day.

The girls who work on cleaning the rooms should pay more attention to sweeping the carpet and cleaning the dust on the floor. It is also desirable to collect used shampoo bottles during the daily room check and trash disposal.

The price is really good for Amsterdam and the hotel was fairly nice. The staff was really nice. The location is a bit far but the public transport is literally at the front door so it was easy to get around.

The carpet of the room did have large stains and you can tell people spilled things or walked with outside shoes on it. The same thing with the chair and the boiler had a lot of limescale on it. One of the days we got a towel that had a stain on it. The room we booked had no windows so the air could become heavy at times. Overall it was pretty nice. We did shoot for getting as cheap of deal as we could and I think this was a great choice. It is nice and clean what I mentioned are things that would make it a perfect stay not that they really mattered.

Cosy little room, with good daily housekeeping. All facilities are available. Hair dryer 👍. Tea coffee. Cute bathroom. Daily change of towels. The train/ metro station is right next to it, so it is easy to travel. Including tram. Fruits and sweets are available in the reception area, which i liked and grabbed everytime 😄

They didn't change my mugs. They left the dirty ones in there and didn't replace them. So i grabbed paper cups from the restaurant downstairs 🤷‍♀️. There's no door in the shower, so the water went outside. I had to put a big towel on the floor, luckily they give 2 towels of each size.

Wasn't easy to find the entrance at first but the moment we stepped in the door, we felt very comfortable ☺️ Room was very clean and modern, especially the wall, pure concrete 🤠 but that gives it that modern nouveau.... Parking space is perfect for only 20 euro a day. The free coffee and tea facilities in the lounge/breakfast room is another extra Receptionist very friendly and kind Will definitely go back again.....

Was with my brother and ordered 2 single beds, and we couldn't move the 2 beds, but we didn't really bother asking for another room. Breakfast staff really chatty and friendly

Location was great you have the metro , trams and buses stop right next to the hotel. Would definitely be staying here again when I return to Amsterdam

The rooms aren't really sound proof so you can hear everything outside in the hallways even if they're trying to be quiet , wasn't a problem for us but I can see how it would be for an older couple or family with small children
