We stayed in the XO Hotel Park West for 3 nights and couldn’t fault the stay! To get to the hotel is very easy. From Amsterdam airport, it’s a 10 min train journey and then a 2 min tram journey. The tram stops directly outside the hotel. We arrived late and check in was quick and easy. Staff were really friendly. We requested a double bed before arrival and got our request and stayed in room 716. The room was huge! Only negative was the curtains were disgusting and had horrendous stains on them but other than that, the room was very clean and had everything you need. Getting into central Amsterdam was also a breeze. Tram line outside the hotel goes directly into central Amsterdam and all the tourist attraction's. Great hotel to stay in if you don’t want to stay directly in central Amsterdam and want to pay less. I would 100% stay at the XO Hotels Park West again!

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Location is outstanding, easy to access as it is close to the Sloterdijk station which is directly accessible by train from Schiphol. The Molenwerf tram station (Line 19) is also located right outside of the front door you can catch that tram from Sloterdijk to the hotel or just walk. You can use line 19 to easily access the whole city. Or grab the train from Sloterdijk direct to Central Station. Rooms were very clean and spacious. We were able to store our bags when arrived prior to check in and also after we checked out so we could run up to Zaanse Schans for the day prior to departure.

My only complaint was that the beds were a bit firmer than I care for.

The hotel was clean, new and easy to get to with the tram #19 right across the road. I needed things printed and the staff were able to have them printed for me. Location was a little outside the city but we still enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle.

Some of the mattress covers had pretty bad stain marks. Maybe time to throw them out. It was badly stained and looked like it hadnt been changed.

The Hotel was great , the rooms were clean , excellent staff , there is a tram stop next to the hotel it will take you to the city center within 15min and its near Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station where you can get a train from there to anywhere you like. The hotel has self check in and check out service which is really incredible ! There is a supermarket just 3 mins walking from the hotel. I suggest this hotel if you're looking for comfort and apart from noisy places in city center.

The underground parking is only 15 euro a day, the tram station is literally in front of the entrance of the hotel. It takes around 20-25 min to get to the center, watching stunning architecture outside the window. The room was clean and quite big. The receptionists were friendly and very helpful.

We stayed in a triple room for three nights. The first night was not the best, because the mattress on one of the beds was extremely uncomfortable with some bumps. So, in the morning I asked to change it, but instead the receptionist offered to switch to a bigger room for 4 people. And there it was a paradise! Great pillows, wonderful mattresses and blankets. Beyond our expectations. All in all, we were more than satisfied to have picked this hotel.

The hotel was spotless and very well kept. The rooms were very big and the beds clean and comfy. We will choose this hotel again when travelling to Amsterdam, the staff were always ready to help us and let us check in early at a cost. They also have a very secure luggage storage for anyone arriving early or leaving later on in the day. It is located right next to a tram stop which we found very handy and 5 minutes away from the train station which takes you to the airport.

The room was large, comfortable and could open the window! It was nice just to be able to get fresh air rather than air con! Bed comfortable pillows small and square, weird! Use of iron in room which was handy, bathroom clean and well lit Cannot dine in the hotel but nearby there is an Italian - La Casa Di Michael, a more traditional restaurant called - Abbey and Indian (can't remember name but lovely) next door to Hap Li Chinese all with 5-10 mins walk from hotel all of which are lovely (did not go to Chinese as didn't like look of it and expensive) the Indian shut on a Wednesday. There is a Lidl around here too so you can but a cheaper selection of food to take back rather than the vending machine. Plus there's tram stop right out the front and a train station 10 minute walk - which was handy as needed to go to Amsterdam RAI and it was direct - 9 stops (10-15 mins)

The lighting in the room could be better, very dark in wardrobe can hardly see, there is a downlighter one side but not the other (which it can't because it is shelved) but better room lighting is needed. No spoon with the coffee/tea making facilities. Fridge is handy. Breakfast is good, nice selection but the hot food could do with being a bit warmer. Do not understand why they cannot provide other meals lunch/dinner as they have the facilities for it, certainly missing a trick. If it's raining, which was all it did whilst I visited, and after a long day, sometimes to have to go out for food is a pain and the expensive vending machines just don't cut it. Bottled water 3.50 euros!!

Perfect location if you don't want the busy hustle and bustle of busy Amsterdam. Tram stop right outside and train station a few minutes up the road, and also the currency exchange shop at the train station (GWK). Hotel staff sooo friendly and helpful. Hotel was just perfect.

Room was a little cold at times. Even after adjusting the heating setting. In the summer it would of been a perfect tempreture. But for March and the rain and hail showers we had, it was a bit chilly in the rooms and would of liked it a little bit warmer. But not a massive issue. The smell of sewerage got a bit unbearable. Only happened 2 or 3 times during our 3 day stay but once it happened, it smelt for hours afterwards. Which then meant opening the windows and made it even more cold in the room. Again not a big issue and wouldn't stop me from staying here again :)

There was so many good things. The beds were so comfortable, the hotel room was never disturbed by other guests making noise, the bathroom was well stocked each day and the shower was lovely. No expense was spared it seems. There was plenty of vending machines with helpful products such as toothbrushes, hairspray and adapters and even a pizza machine for 8€ which was just downstairs in the lobby. Staff were so friendly and there was never any problems and the electronic do not disturb signs and doorbell were so practical. There was lots of guides on the city and what to do and offers on attractions nearby which was great.

The shower seemed to have some leakage as the hand held shower head was spraying water from the hose. The property was not very easy to access central Amsterdam from if you are not very good with public transport, especially late at night but there was helpful guides provided about this by the hotel. That is a personal preference problem though so we think we would stay in a more central XO property next time.

The hotel is modern and clean, It was freezing cold outside on he day of my stay so having a cozy heated room felt as such a luxury. Also there is self check-in/check-out system which is very easy, you even create your pass key yourself and if you need assistance there is always staff to help you out.

No restaurant on site, there are vending machines at the lobby which are a bit confusing and can be tricky. To open it you need to hold your card at the reader, wait specific amount of seconds to open the door at the right time and then pick up whatever you want. But here is the catch. I didn't find this info anywhere but was told by other guest that you are being charged 20 euros automatically so make sure you take the items of that value before you close the door. Anyway, it is nothing dramatic but good to know.
