The beds where very good and comfortable. It was clean and staff was alright.

Location was maybe not the best as there was no train cards for a week to buy. Had to buy them one at a time. One night staff employee was a bit rude to us and other guests.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We arrived early and asked to leave our baggage at the secure room, but we were checked in early as there was a room available at the time. Breakfast was great. The room and bathroom were really clean, and the beds - comfortable. We used bikes to travel around, and the location worked great - 15 - 20 mins from both the city center and the Awakenings festival we were visiting. There's also a bike parking in front. The Sloterdijk station is a 5 minute walk from the hotel.

Only downsides I can think of - the room was quite small for 3 people. The third bed felt like it's been simply put in an available space - no outlets or light next to it. There was a double wardrobe for 3 people to fit in. Another thing - the lobby vending machine broke down on our 2nd day and wasn't fixed for the entire week. Having said that, both those things were in no way a dealbreaker for us.

The room was clean and comfortable. The building is modern. I was happy with the facilities, the room had a hairdryer too. The receptionist was very kind and switched the lights on for us when we were hanging out in the lobby in the evening, and lent us cutlery from the kitchen when we asked. Not a central location, but good connections to the city centre and an excellent connection to the airport. Quiet neighbourhood. Good breakfast. I chose this hotel because it was the cheapest among those with the highest ratings - and I was satisfied. It was still expensive, but so is everything in Amsterdam.

Not the staff's fault, but there was one group of guests who did not know how to behave. They smoked in their room and set the fire alarm off at 3:30 AM. Another night, they were slamming the doors (or maybe playing baseball in the corridor??) so loudly that the walls were shaking, I was afraid the whole building would collapse. The only thing I missed from the breakfast were frankfurters. The scramled eggs were a bit dry to my taste.

Loved the location will definitely book to stay here again ,have stayed in the id apartment too same location stay in Amsterdam at leat 5 times a year first time at urban Lodge will be back in August

Didn't like the very rude man and woman on reception (on first morning) daughter is autistic andcwasa bit teary about his very rude comment bout pizza , in our room was a small menu with pizza delivery option when asked was told very rudely there is no pizza you have to go walk to get one ... once we went to get ready to go buy one the pizza man was making two deliveries as we were leaving so there was no reason for him to be so rude . If he on reception on my next visit may just not stay there even the lady sbehind reception said ow wow that was a bit savage she went red in the face due to his rude attitude

Location is great! Just one stops outside of Amsterdam Central and gives some peace and quiet after an adventurous day. There aren’t too many restaurants or bars around though if that’s the atmosphere you are looking for. We enjoyed our stay overall. The aesthetics are good, breakfast is good with a wide selection and the hotel offers bikes and tours for purchase. We hiked one day from the hotel to downtown and it was really fun and not too long of a ride.

The bathroom soap offerings are a bit odd. It’s a very eye pleasing hotel but can tell something’s are cheap. Didn’t bother us as we were looking for a nice but cheap stay in Amsterdam.

We arrived a bit earlier than expected for the check-in and expected to wait a bit until we could go into our room. As soon as we entered, we were asked and told this wasn't a problem. The attendee was very kind and helped out by providing us another room (same category) that was clean already. The room we got was right in the middle of the floor in front of the elevators. It is a slightly larger room with a unique design. Though afraid of noises due to the room location, we had absolutely no issue with that, the sound isolation is great. The room, bigger, was comfy and looked nice with large windows. We got the bed as we wished for and everything was impeccable, from towels to bed sheets. Room had no smell and, a very important point for me as I'm extremely allergic and this is my most common issue, the AC/Heater didn't make me sneeze like crazy when turned on. The breakfast was a joy everyday, with a great choice of bread & coffee types, the juice was of good quality and the area for breakfast was quite nice with some great sofas. Getting to the hotel was easy and, having visited Amsterdam more than 10 times already, I can say that the location is privileged. The train station has a supermarket and is 4 mins by foot, you can get to Centraal very quickly every 5 mins and you may also get a Tram directly to museums and other attractions. I have stayed in Hotels in the city center that felt more distant somehow, as only one OV line would reach it and we always had to wait. Last but not least the policies implied by the hotel upon check-in are fair and guarantee a relaxing, respectful stay.

The only thing that I could say, made us a bit sad, was that the room's fridge was empty. Not a big issue, as there was a vending machine on the entrance hall and the bar, but it would be nice to have a cold beer on the room after a long day walking in Amsterdam :)!

We liked the modern and cosy decoration of both the rooms and the lobby. The facilities look new and very clean and the price/quality is good considering the high rates of most of the hotels in the city center. The proximity to the train station is very convenient. In 5 minutes you can reach the city center.

We found the bedroom a bit dark, some extra lighting would have been appreciated. Also, we were placed on the ground floor so we had to keep the curtains closed all the time to avoid been seeing from the street.

When travelling on business we have found this location to be excellent for trains, far easier and less stressful than staying central (not to mention the cost of the hotel in comparison). Lovely restaurants and bars close by, will shall continue to book here when on business. See you next year!!

A better selection of drinks at the bar would be good and also cosmetics in room could be better (one product for shampoo/condition/body wash). Also, if breakfast was included in the price, that would be better.

Good location in that it's very close to Sloterdijk station. There are regular trains to Amsterdam central which take about 5 minutes. It was also handy for the F1 at Zandvoort (15 minutes by train). We also used the tram, and there's a metro station too. The hotel has bikes to rent but we hired electric scooters and took a trip to Zansee Schans.

The immediate area around the hotel is quite quiet with only a handful of bars and restaurants. There's a lot of building going on (which didn't bother us) so I think this area will get busier over time.

This is great place to stay when in Amsterdam. The reception is exceptionally helpful. We felt they went way out of their way to help us with things. The metro, tram, train and bus station (Sloterdijk) are just a 7-minute walk away. A SPAR supermarket is also available in the vicinity to buy some basic stuff. A very peaceful locality, we can walk around at night without any problem. Breakfast was the standard breakfast you get. Almost everything was available - breads, eggs, cold cut meats, juice, tea (bags), coffee, corn flakes, etc.

Nothing much. But just to put points here: 1) We are a couple and got 2 single beds joined together, instead of 1 big bed.
