The room was spacious and had additional furniture (armchairs, soft pouf, table, big lamp), tea/coffee station and coffee machine as well as a fridge. Also one of the windows was opening, which was unusual for high towers, but was very nice. Very spacious bathroom and shower, nice amenities and proper hairdryer. Ironboard and iron are already located in the room along with plenty of hangers, which was very handy.

The center of Amsterdam where most the sightseeing is not within a walking distance. You need to take a metro/bus or taxi. Restaurant closes at 21.00 (there's no late room service), so we had to order food via Uber upon late arrival which was disappointing after a long day of travel.

What a gem of a hotel... loved our stay. Location was good especially if you wanted to get out of the city to escape the hubbub. Staff were amazing and very knowledge. We ended up with a situation where we were unable to undertake a booked excursion and Daan the young lad in the front desk not only helped me to cancel it and get a refund but he also recommended we visit Zandvroot en zee the coastal resort which was less than an hour away... what a find! Lovely little courtyard as well at the back, which looks in to the canal . Overall an excellent hotel... my only recommendation is that a cooked breakfast is limited if you are vegetarian or vegan so maybe a few more options 🤔 Overall well worth visiting

Limited vegan and vegetarian option for breakfast.

The room is quite large, with a safe, fridge, kettle and coffee machine. You can even iron your clothes! I was lucky to have a stunning view from the 15th floor over the Amstel river, the city and the district with the Rembrandt tower. WiFi was not perfect but stable, the breakfast was quite diverse and tasty.

The lights are sparse, especially if you, like me, suffer from night-blindness. The worst is the bathroom: the bulbs are behind if you face the mirror, which means your face is always in the shadow. Too far from metro (I guess Overamstel is closer than Spaklerweg). Also, two elevators for such amount of people are not enough: I once waited for over 10 minutes to go down.

The room was very large and had a lovely kitchen area with a microwave and a good fridge. That was incredibly handy when travelling with young children. The beds were comfortable as well as the large bathroom. The location is close to the centre of Amsterdam and reachable by metro. However, please be warned that there are no facilities such as cafes and supermarkets in the immediate area ( if you travel by public transport). I would recommend this hotel for the comfort of the room and cleanness.

Food items such snacks to buy in the hotel are very expensive. Breakfast prices are also too high.

Practical location to explore Amsterdam eventhough the hotel is outside the city. Metro connection was great both to the city and to the airport (about 30 min both ways). Super-easy to find the hotel from the station. Its tall building is visible from the station. The hotel holds great standard! Delightful breakfast with good variety and friendly service. It was a nice touch with birthday greetings and decorations in the room. Thank you, we had a lovely stay!

There was a lot of trash on the way between the hotel and the station. It brings the impression of the area down unfortunately. This hotel deserves better surroundings. The hotel itself was fantastic!

The room was nice and clean throughout the entire stay. The maids made sure to fill up the coffee tabs and the tea bags each morning, which was super nice. The facilities in the hotel was also very good. It had a spacious lounge area where you could sit for a brief moment while the misses was finishing up in the room. The staff was excellent at giving advice and also gave us a tour book with discounted tickets for the local museums. The metro was close and provided a easy connection to Amsterdam Central station. For future visitors: To enter the metro area you can use your debit/credit cards to check-in at the gates. Simply, hold it against the screen and it will let you in. This is good to know, as I couldn't always find ticket machines near the metro areas.

The Hotel was located a bit far from everything. If you like evening walks, then you have to walk across the bridge to find streets with shops and restaurants. There's not much else to see around the area...

I didn’t have the breakfast package because of my daily program..but I heard from the other guests that it was good. The receptionist that received us on our arrival was just wonderful. They have gorgeous rooms. Beautiful interior. With beautiful big window and wonderful view.

I was very disappointed to have requested for more towels in an evening, the receptionist told me they were on their way but I didn’t receive any. That was very bad at the moment. But I didn’t see any need to make a fuss about it since I was leaving the next day and since they had been very hospitable before.

Quite a modern spacious property with lovely patio area right next to the canal

Due to mobility difficulties we hadn’t realised that it was so far from the centre of Amsterdam. The name of the hotel led me to believe it was central and it wasn’t. Yes there was a tram stop but that was half a mile away, too far to walk with someone of impaired mobility. We ended up taking taxis into Amsterdam and at €30-€35 euros each way this soon adds up. The bedroom window in room 9032 let a lot of draft in and bed was very very hard.

Room upgrade with free cans of drink. Great space in bedroom. Lovely shower. Breakfast selection. Free drinking water refills.

Milk available in bedroom for tea, rather than cream. Tea bags not replenished on second day. Bathroom mirror needs more light. No freshly made food in breakfast, although buffet was nice. Shop items seemed very expensive. Walk from Metro felt a bit dodgy at night, luckily other guests walked back at same time as us.
