Great location, and a really nice hotel in an old building. The staff was helpful, the breakfast was OK, everything was as expected or slightly better. I was quite happy with the value and I would definitely stay here again.

The TV had a "streaming" thing (where you can display your own content from a phone or tablet), which did not work most of the time. This needs to be improved, in this century a TV that I can watch my stuff on is a requirement. The hotel should find a better provider of this service. The keys to the room stopped working an hour before checkout, so likely some IT system wasn't adjusted to winter time.

Superb location, really close to the main train station, the metro and generally to a lot of nice places in the city. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. I really liked that you can make coffee and tea for free in the hotel lobby 24/7 which was a really nice touch.

The only thing i didn't like about the hotel was probably the size of the room, it felt a bit small and the way the table and chairs are located it blocks the way to the other side of the bed so i had to lift my suitcase above the chairs to get to the other side.

This is a really nice little boutique hotel, about a 5 minute walk from central station. From here you can walk to all of the major attractions in Amsterdam. It has a very cosy atmosphere from when you walk in and the staff are extremely kind and helpful. The breakfast was nice with hot options as well as cold, coffee, juices, and a range of pastries. The room was a decent size. We were on the fourth floor and had a view over to central station which was nice. The beds were extremely comfy and we had a bath ion the room. I would definitely stay here again.

There were a couple of things that could be improved to make this hotel better. The shower head was held up by masking tape, something which shouldn't happen when you are paying this price point. This was the same with the curtain rail. In general, when paying over 250EUR a night, I would expect little more for the price.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was superb - 5 minutes from Amsterdam Centraal Station. The room was small but we knew that would be the case when we booked - we managed to fit our two large cases and us with a little rearranging. The room was pretty quiet even though there was a lot of work going on in the street outside and to the building itself. The lobby downstairs was a pleasant environment to enjoy a drink. Loved that we could help ourselves to hot chocolate and coffee/tea.

Location was great. Very close to Central Station. To one direction was the red light and very touristy, but the other direction took us to a lovely neighborhood with wonderful shops and restaurants. Property was clean and well maintained. Nice breakfast and nice and helpful staff. the front desk sells tram passes which was very convenient and much appreciate.

As mentioned in other reviews, there was a lot of construction going on but, the construction is going on all over the city. Don’t let that deter you from this property because the construction was everywhere.

A good size room, calm and tasteful decor, immaculate bathroom, very convenient for the Old Town and transport by rail and tram, quiet despite being close to a tramline, friendly staff.

A couple of minor things. When we arrived the room felt cold and the heating didn't seem to work. We asked Reception and they explained that the heating was controlled centrally, so we got them to turn it to a higher setting. Also the pillows weren't as soft as we would have liked.

All staff were super friendly, polite, we’re more than happy to help, spoke excellent English and were really helpful. Easy to get to from the train station, 5 minute walk. Not far from central. Roadworks outside really weren’t a big deal and the Hotel gave us a free drink each for the inconvenience. Room itself was wonderful. Very clean room and bathroom, private bathroom, good shower, such comfy beds!! Television that we could stream Netflix too from our phones. Lovely and warm and thermostat in room to change temp. Lift up to our floor. Would definitely return and recommend to others.

Square pillows which were more like large cushions

Centrally located near the main train station and famous sights, I enjoyed my stay as it was safe, comfortable with good ambience, courteous and efficient service from its staff, and good internet connection. The bed was comfy and the breakfast service accommodated different palates, which I appreciated. Guests could also store their luggage after checking out to further explore the city. Would definitely return to stay in the future.

The smart tv in the room didnt really connect to the internet despite the staff checking the cabling. That was a bummer but thankfully the wifi connection was good for mobile devices.
