Very clean and tidy room made in a very cool industrial style. The bed was one of the comfiest I've even had in hotels. Im usually a massive germophobe, but both the pillow covers and sheets felt ultra clean. I liked that the sink was outside the bathroom , so brushing the teeth could be done while someone else occupied the toilet. The bathroom itself was very clean too. The reception was quick and friendly and spoke english, we also rented bikes from the hotel for a day and they provided us with working and comfy bikes with locks. There isn't a parking next to the hotel I think but the train station is 5 minutes away and leads straight to the city center. There's a delicious vegan kebab place like 3 minutes away from the hotel too which is worth a lunch break!

We got a room on the 4th floor but the elevators only went to floor 3. It was a big walk to our room complete with a flight of stairs. We are young but I imagine it being hard to get to for elderly or disabled people. The window blinds were really bad, they didn't black out the room at all and sunlight came through the gaps which was a bit annoying. Would be nicer if they just had solid material blinds.

Industrial look. Self check in available and plenty of common areas to choose from. Not as noisy as I had read from the other reviews. But then again I am a heavy sleeper.

Bed is pretty much two mattresses piled up together so it shifts when you try to get out of bed. No air conditioning but maybe this is a common thing in Amsterdam? The bathroom is painted all black so that felt too gothic for my taste. Location is a bit far from places of interests but still reachable by tram or train or bus (2 to 3 hops depending on the route).

The bed was super comfortable (I wanted to take the mattress home with me), it was clean and quiet, we were on the third floor and tucked away! It was also easy to get to once you know how from Amsterdam Central, you could get there on the sprinter train or by metro and tram. The room had a kettle, tea and coffee, towels and hand soap and shower gel in the bathroom so it had the basics. Location was fantastic, lots of shops and restaurants nearby.

The building inside was a bit industrial like.. the walls were all wooden... It was a strange feeling however, the safety of the building couldn't of been any better. The room lacked a hair dryer so luckily it was only 2 days so I didn't need to wash my hair otherwise I would've been a little stuck.

Very hip, cool, nice hotel with comfortable bed sheets and beautiful toilets and showers. The building is great and lively, lots of cool stuff happening around, apparently. There were shops and supermarkets within minutes and it is well connected.

It is truly a laberinth to navigate and it is hard to find the exit from the rooms area to the outside world. Also, I booked it because pets were allowed, only to find out on the check-in that their policy had changed and they didn't let me know in advance. They allowed me to stay with my dog, but still I was really shocked they didn't communicate the change. Specially because they sent me all kinds of messages about other topics.

The room was perfect. Warm, cool, everything we wanted!! It was cleaned everyday and privacy was respected!! I am so happy that I chose q factory for my accomondation and I will be definitely staying in this place again. It has a vibe of a movie...so cool and chill, also artsy (due to the many music events it hosts / also rehearsals) but at the same time you felt like home! I cant describe it but everything was perfect!! Also such a helpful and kind crew at reception! Thank u guys!!🥰

Only thing is that I wish the TV would be connected to the internet so we could watch some netflix. But this is of course not important, just a personal preference. Nevertheless, 10/10 for me! 👌👌

Q-Factory is a quirky property with an interesting style and layout. Rooms were comfortable. I booked a triple room and love that the two beds were separated in their own “rooms” and had two bathrooms. Each room had access to a shared balcony. The location was conveniently located a few minutes walk from the train station. The metro and rental bikes are right around the corner. There’s a restaurant/bar on the ground floor with friendly and welcoming staff.

A vibrant and interesting hotel. A great place to stay with my 19 year old granddaughter. We loved the vibe around with all the musicians. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough to make our visit pleasurable. The facilities in our room were good especially the lovely hot morning shower. We also loved the room with the 3 pianos

I personally didn't like climbing the stairs from floor 3 to 4 where our room was, but that didn't bother my granddaughter who loved every minute.

Staff very friendly and always willing to help. They helped us a lot with all the doubts we had to move around the city.

Check in was 2 hours later than they said us, so we were stuck waiting for updates in the cafe. We were treated to all the drinks we wanted inside the lobby bar. However, there was a problem with laundry which at first was going to be solved in a few minutes, but in the end it was hours. We feel that this part of our trip was a bit wasted. To our surprise, when we got to the room, it was very poorly cleaned, with dust and unwiped spray marks on the bathroom surfaces. There were two cups in the room, but they were also rusty and dirty inside. There are no spoons/hair dryer.

Great hotel close by to everything you need and in a really cool area. The staff were friendly and always helpful. The room was good for a few nights stay.

The walls are very thin and if our neighbours rolled over and hit the wall our bed shook (this happened every night), we could also hear them snoring and everything. So being earplugs or be aware that audio privacy is pretty much nothing. Surprisingly noise from events at venue downstairs were almost nothing.

Great location to commute to city centre! The room was lovely and clean with a nice design. The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing.

The walls were extremely thin and woke us up most mornings, the bathroom also had a bit of a funny smell and unfortunately our safe was broken. There was also no storage to put our clothes so had to just keep everything in suitcases. All pretty minor things so wasn’t too bothered.
