The hotel is beautiful. It is a lovely building in Oosterpark. The breakfast was rich. Location is a little far from the downtown but there are many restaurants, bars and cafes nearby.

The room was a bit different than the photos shown in booking.com, the bed was shown upstairs in the living room furniture was shown downstairs in the photos but the furnitures were located the opposite which is ugly for me. Adittionally, it was a groundfloor corner room so, its view was ventilation grilles of the inner courtyard. The bathroom door in the room is not isolated. The hotel was lovely overall, but I did not like the room.

Beautiful setting and just outside of city centre which I loved, but v easy to get in to central. Our daughter loved the proximity to the park and amazing playground and splash pool and thr restaurant was great. Throughly loved!

Would have preferred a double bed rather than pushed together singles, but that was it

The building is fantastic and well located to walk to the city centre. The staff are very friendly and helpful!

The wifi is poor, upload and download speed of 5mbps is way below average. Not ideal for video calls or sending files over 100mb The blind didn’t work in the room and we could hear footsteps from the room above. I’m also not sure when it became normal to remove the walls from a bathroom and just Install glass partitions. It’s not a private bathroom so be warned if you’re not completely comfortable with your room mate then this hotel might not be for you. Finally the price of parking at 50€ per day seems outrageous even for Amsterdam. That being said the parking is secure.

A beautiful designer hotel in the park. City center. Cozy rooms. Lovely interior. Friendly staff. A large beautiful restaurant. Delicious food. Magnificent breakfasts. Designer fireplace. Beautiful view from the window. Silence. Plenty of seating for socializing and relaxation.

In late January, it's cold in the rooms. The hotel employee tried to convince us to stay in a Classic room instead of the Presidential Suite. Perhaps it was his first day at work and he thought all the rooms were the same. We had booked two rooms: the Presidential Suite and the Classic room. After a long conversation, showing the booking of two rooms, and pictures of the rooms, he gave us the keys to our Presidential Suite. We were happy to have received both reserved rooms in just 20 minutes.

Breakfast buffet superb start to the day with a wide selection and the staff at reception and in the restaurant were friendly and attentive.

Booked twin beds because I was travelling with my daughter and I even sent a separate message to emphasise this, but when we arrived after a long journey the bed was a double . The phone was not connected so we had to go down three floors to request twin beds. The coffee machine was set up so it didn’t reach the nearest plug without moving the table and disconnecting the lamp. Again, this seemed an unnecessary bother to deal with after a long trip. Then in the morning the phone and plug seemed to be dead again . Later the phone line came on. These are minor irritations but surely could have been avoided. The staff were courteous and quick in sorting them out.

Enjoyed our stay here very much, the historical building has an interesting configuration and design, a truly visual experience, and the place is filled with a particular energy. The hotel is located in a green, quiet and safe neighbourhood, Metro is 10 minutes away walking distance and there are only 2 stops to get to Amsterdam city center. The room was cosy, clean and comfortable. The hotel's restaurant is also worth visiting, it has a beautiful terrace and they serve good food.

We didn't appreciate the fact that the bathroom's door was not closing.

I booked this hotel as if looked decent compared to the city centre options for the same price, they really looked bad, its about 1 mile from the city centre and as we had great weather myself and my daughter really enjoyed the walk into the city, depending on where we were going we changed the route. away from the centre Amsterdam really is a beautiful city, the bars/cafes are less hectic and more economical. The hotel itself if stunning, the photos do not do it justice, I ran round the Oosterpark in the morning which is also beautiful, I did not eat in the hotel, but the cockails were on point.

Almost everything in the hotel. The staff is professional and very helpful, room was outstanding and nice, the lobby café was soo good and the breakfast worth the money.

I didn’t like that the heating was only on the second floor of the room, down it was bit cold in February. Also, only card payment. I knew this before going to the hotel but for me it was a really weird condition, and it’s almost in all amsterdam like that. Don’t forget your cc in this city hahah.

Very nice building directly inside a park. Clean bright rooms. Nice restaurant with good food attached to the hotel. Room was small, but organised in two floors, with bathroom at ground level and bed on a mezzanine. Typical very steep stairs to reach the bed. Might be an issue for some people. Bed was (too) soft. Nothing to put clothes near bed on the mezzanine, and you might not want to use the stairs late at night.

I payed with booking.com, but was asked again to pay at the hotel the full price. Only after showing my bank account, where the money left a week early, I could check in. (BTW, 100 € deposit for two nights, in a > 150€ per night hotel ??) And when checking out, yes, they asked me to pay a third time. I know it might just be a software glitch, but constantly being told you have not paid for your room takes the comfort out of a stay.
