big comfy bed, cosy room with a balcony and friendly staff

was a little out of the centre but very close to trams, woken up a few times due to building works outside which were at very early times

The place was really comfortable, with a big kitchen, balcony and bathroom. The neighborhood is charming, very quiet. You can easily walk to the center through Voldelpark or you can take tram n°2. We really loved this place, I think with a few details (new towels, new carpet, some paint etc) it could be a real gem in Amsterdam. It doesn't have room service, but it's nice that no one bothers you. However, if you need anything, the owner lives downstairs.

The towels were old and had small holes, and the carpet might need updating, but I think these were minor details

everything was functional

kitchen could be equipped with more cutleries, there were only 3 plates, 2 forks. the dining table was too old and shaky.

The room has everything you may need for a short stay in Amsterdam. The owners live in the same building, which is convenient for check in and in case of any issues (we didnt have any).

The double bed is actually made with two single beds put together. That is not quite the same. It is a far walk to the center (40-50 mins) but tram stop is close and gets you there.

I went to Wooden Mill B&B for a week to attend a fair and then spend a weekend as a tourist. Everything was perfect and the host Joop is an extremely kind and helpful person. Perfect location as it is very well served by means of transport and, among other things, very close to the west entrance of the Vondelpark. Excellent internet connection. I will definitely return to this B&B on my next visits to Amsterdam

Nothing wrong

Location, large windows and comfy beds, Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff / cleaner.

The room feels bit dated, could do with better arrangement of furniture. The room felt a bit cluttered, with all the right stuff but could be laid out differently. The cupboard and shelves seems worn out There was a damp smell in the bathrooms. But it does air out. Pictures look better than in real life.

Great location, and quiet area. The owner is extremely kind and friendly. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare simple meals and breakfast.

Mr Joop and his help are lovely people. The room is tiny, but there is a big comfortable bed and a cute balcony that you can use. There is also a small kitchenette with everything that you might need. In the neighbourhood you can find a supermarket and also the tram station, both very close. Everything was great and we will gladly come back.

cosy, warm, had all the facilities we needed for a short trip. great location to get into the city centre and had plenty of lovely resturants/bars and shops nearby.

a noisy radiator/heater - didn’t use it but it would still make quite loud noises here and there. Couldn’t use the balcony because we were told it was unsafe - barely an issue though!

Plenty of room, comfortable bed. Close to trams to get to the centre. Host friendly and helpful.

PArking in Amsterdam is a bit of a nightmare but that is not a problem that can be solved by the host. But, there s free parking a short drive away with a good tram service back.
