Very comfortable large bed and nice cold AC! Shower was super hot with strong water pressure. Had a fridge on the room for drinks, take away/leftovers. Bar downstairs with snacks (yakatori chicken was good!), full bar, and a takeaway pizza vending machine. Very convenient. Staff helpful and polite. Overall excellent place to stay in Amsterdam for less money!

Could hear the people above every time they moved. Very loud. Only soap provided in bathroom—no other toiletries like shampoo, lotion etc.

The hotel’s location and infrastructure are excellent. It’s easy to call a taxi or access the nearby metro. Despite being close to a highway, the windows are well-insulated, so you don’t hear the noise from traffic or the nearby airport. The hotel grounds are well-maintained, with ample parking available. The lobby is beautiful and offers a comfortable space to enjoy food and drinks. The large hall is welcoming, and the staff is friendly, speaks good English, and is always ready to help. The hotel provides free luggage lockers after checkout, which is a convenient feature. The elevators are quick, and the rooms are beautifully decorated, with comfortable mattresses and pillows. Each room includes a mini-fridge, kettle, cups, tea, coffee, and a complimentary bottle of water. The blackout curtains are effective at blocking light, ensuring a good night’s sleep. The air conditioning works well, providing a comfortable environment. The bathroom fixtures are in good condition, and all the furniture is well-maintained.

I had a few issues with my stay at the hotel: 1. The windows in my room couldn’t be opened, which meant I had to rely on the air conditioning all the time. This wasn’t ideal, as I prefer fresh air. 2. Another inconvenience was that the housekeeping staff constantly threw away our water bottles from the tables. It was frustrating to come back to the room expecting to have water available, only to find it gone. 3. Additionally, there were no hooks in the bathroom. This made it challenging to hang towels or clothes, as I had to place everything on the toilet or hang it over the shower door. These details, while minor, did affect my overall comfort during the stay.

Nice room, clean, the shower was weird but not that big of a deal. It's very European 🤣, part of the experience to be honest. Hotel had breakfast and dinner buffets, a bit pricey but it helped the first night I was there and didn't want to leave to go find food on foot as I was jetlagged. They also have a pizza vending machine... Seriously try it, it was neat! Room was pretty standard, nothing fancy, but not necessary if you're going to be out in the city most of the day it's a great value for the price if you don't mind trekking into town. They also rent bikes there for the day which I recommend in Amsterdam. Staff was nice every time, no issues check in was easy. They charge you a 3€ per person per night tax that is required from the city and not part of your booking, but that was stated when I booked so I was expecting it, check in was fast and friendly as was check out.

The Full size bed was just two twin mattresses on a full size bedframe and so they sagged in the middle. At first I thought the mattress was broken until I noticed it was just 2 small ones put together. Made it hard to get comfortable since one side was leaning. Location was about 30 minutes from the center of the city but this should be already taken into account when you book it so not really their fault they don't advertise it that they're close and the price value matches the distance so it's fine. You have a metro station about 7 minutes walk and a Tram about 5 minutes walk that will take you anywhere. There's also several buses very close. No open restaurants nearby late so plan for rhat.

I've stayed at Best Western for a week two times. It is a serviceable hotel with spacious room, a desk and minibar. The cleaning service was good and staff is friendly. Location is really good since there is a lot of commerce around the hotel - several supermarkets, restaurants and other services. It is also well connected to the tram and metro, tram being the fastest way to city center.

The pillows got way worse since my last visit. They are now very hard and uncomfortable. The heating didn't seem to work in my room, but I didn't need it since the room was already very warm. It is a bit annoying to use the faucets because you need to open both the hot and cold to get the temperature you want.

Beds comfortable Situated really close to the tram and metro so very easy to get into central Amsterdam. Very close to 3 supermarkets and so you can utilize the fridge in the room. Really helpful and friendly staff. Quadruple room was the most economic option for us, especially as we didn't realize Taylor Swift was in town. Great to have tea and coffee making in the room. Breakfast buffet is ok, priced in line with other hotels

Not sure id be comfortable walking around that around alone at night. Food options not great. Bar snacks OK but we didn't fancy a pizza from a vending machine (the smell as you walk in isn't very nice) so opted for the BBQ Buffet at 32.50€ each including beer, wine and soft drinks. BBQ was rained off, we should have checked out what was on offer before we committed as it was a complete rip off. Limited overcooked choices, was pretty revolting. Wished we had ventured further afield as the next day we spotted a restaurant by the tram stop that looked pretty good. Basically don't eat dinner there it's dreadful.

I liked that there were possibility to store luggage in the reception for free if needed. The breakfast was fantastic ( delicious and variety of foods to choose from); hotel was close to pharmacy and grocery store; also relitavely close to city centre(easy to get to centre with public transport). The room was spacious enough and there were electric kettle and fridge which was really nice for late night snack.

The AC/ ventilation wasn't working properly and there weren't any windows to open, therefore was hard to get fresh air and temperature in the room was too high. The reception said that they were working on it to figure out where is the problem, but that there weren't anything that they can do at the moment.

I booked the holiday for my daughter and her friend. One night I couldn't get hold of either of them and I was extremely worried since I am in South Africa. I called the hotel. The receptionist refused to listen to me while I was trying to explain that I was trying to get hold of my daughter. He kept putting the phone down in my ear because I was calling from an unknown number. I was so stressed out about my daughter that he refused to help. Eventually after a couple of calls, I started by saying "just give me a chance." I got hold of my daughter later but it was very stressful. I would have loved better assistance from the hotel. What if she really was in danger.

The hotel was pleasant, modern and airy. The room was bright and clean. The bathroom was modern and the shower excellent. The bed was a little soft but ok, with a nice comfortable duvet. I liked having a kettle, mugs and tea bags available in the room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The walk to the tram was just 6-7 minutes and that particular tram (#2) took us everywhere, including the museums, the tourist sites and Central Station. The hotel front desk had tram tickets available for purchase, making things easy. There was an elevator, bar and restaurant. Every day, the room was cleaned and we received fresh towels.

It would be nice if guests could be informed that there is an Albert Heijn supermarket nearby. You can't see it when walking between the hotel and the tram station. On the last day, at check out, we asked and they told us about it. It's good for picking up bottled water, fruit and snacks.

Well maintained hotel and spacious rooms with all basic amenities in the room. Location of the hotel is good, just 5 minutes walk from the nearest tram station, and 100 meters from some of popular stores (Albert Heijn, Lidl, a pizza store, etc.). Courteous staff. Be watchful while walking between the hotel and the tram station.

The hotel blocked a substantial amount on my card, despite charging the full amount and they claimed that they have not blocked additional amount. My bank released the additional amount after waiting for 30 days as per visa norms. The replenishment of tea bags, coffee sachet, creamer, sugar etc. was not done promptly and we had to ask for the same every day. Just be watchful about the shelter for homeless people nearby, on way to hotel from the tram station, and the related risk.
