Nice room, clean, the shower was weird but not that big of a deal. It's very European 🤣, part of the experience to be honest. Hotel had breakfast and dinner buffets, a bit pricey but it helped the first night I was there and didn't want to leave to go find food on foot as I was jetlagged. They also have a pizza vending machine... Seriously try it, it was neat! Room was pretty standard, nothing fancy, but not necessary if you're going to be out in the city most of the day it's a great value for the price if you don't mind trekking into town. They also rent bikes there for the day which I recommend in Amsterdam. Staff was nice every time, no issues check in was easy. They charge you a 3€ per person per night tax that is required from the city and not part of your booking, but that was stated when I booked so I was expecting it, check in was fast and friendly as was check out.

The Full size bed was just two twin mattresses on a full size bedframe and so they sagged in the middle. At first I thought the mattress was broken until I noticed it was just 2 small ones put together. Made it hard to get comfortable since one side was leaning. Location was about 30 minutes from the center of the city but this should be already taken into account when you book it so not really their fault they don't advertise it that they're close and the price value matches the distance so it's fine. You have a metro station about 7 minutes walk and a Tram about 5 minutes walk that will take you anywhere. There's also several buses very close. No open restaurants nearby late so plan for rhat.

If you don’t want to stay downtown, this is a great location. Very close to public transit - bus, tram and train. The number 2 tram is a few minutes walk and goes right downtown. Turning left out of the hotel you can find a pleasant walk along a canal. Turning right and there is a little plaza (a bit on the seedy side) with a few eateries, two grocery stores which was great, a drugstore, etc. The room was bright and comfortable, had a little fridge, barely heard any noise from other rooms or the hallway despite a full house.

A few mornings we woke to a thick, not pleasant, food smell. We were also paying a high price per night even being out of the downtown but although the room was comfortable and clean, the wallpaper was peeling and the kettle was rusty inside. But nothing really negative to say. I would definitely stay here again with the easy access to to public transit and the grocery store nearby.

Breakfast and buffet dinner were amazing! Well worth having breakfast included! The check in was quick and good. The staff seemed friendly on the desk and the location was simple to get to anywhere in Amsterdam as the tram wasn’t far (10 min walk to get the no2 tram which goes through Amsterdam centre). The use of the free gym was a bonus. The room was large enough and air conditioned with bonus fan.

The area had a lot of opportunistic unsavoury people hanging around the outside of the hotel approaching us and made us feel unsafe. The rooms above were very noisy at night as people were banging around all the time through the night until about 4am every day. The room service was not done every day only on the first day, even though we put the sign on the door and when we asked, the cleaning service were not very obliging.

The room service was good and the wet room great. Beds were made every day but hanging sign on door by 10.30am. Listened and acted on request for lowest floor possible. Two of the three beds in the room were very comfortable. Having two pillows was good.

The fridge needed cleaning it has black marks or substance which did come off with wipes but would have taken a good number of wipes and a while to clean which we decided against. Did not report as decided against using fridge. The plug socket behind the chair didn't work, so had to take turns overnight to charge our phones in the two by the bedside tables. Would have preferred larger size pillows.

Good location in the outskirts of town accessible by car, train (1,3 km Lelylaan), metro (700 m, connection to trains) and tram (200 m). Peaceful nights, clean room of good size, fridge, WiFi reasonably ok. This was our second stay and we could consider coming again. Bike rental in hotel is a plus.

AC unit of the room was working fine but unfortunately it was blowing directly towards bed. This combined with occasional noise of plumbing and improper inclination of shower floor were bothering us somewhat. Not really a big deal but what a lost opportunity in renovation. With warmer outside temperatures a proper AC would have been a must.

The rooms were nice and clean, spacious and very nice.

I found the young staff untrained and unhelpful. We got woken up by drunkards at 2 a.m. in the morning as did our friends. I reported to the reception straight away, there was no handover notes to the day staff and basically said what can we do. They have CCTV as well. Also they removed our lugguage from our room, which I realise I had got the dates wrong which is fine. But when I saw our stuff thrown into laundry bags I said what happened to my friends, the girl behind the counter mimicked me saying "what happened" and proceeded to speak in Dutch to her colleague and kept looking at me angry. this is no way to treat guest that pay your bills.

The staff of the hotel are very kind and professional. The room (we had a triple room) was clean, they change towels every second day. The beds were very comfortable. The location is great because there is a tram station at two minutes walk distance and it takes around 10 minutes to get to the city centre quickly plus it is a very quiet part of the city so we slept really well.

The only objection is that because of the thin ceiling we could hear our neighbours from the room above coming to their room in the middle of the night, but the noise would last around 2 minutes and everything would be quiet again, but that is due to the building construction and there is nothing they can do about it.

So I didn't sleep here. My parents were there for 2x nights. The staff is nice, breakfast is good. It is Best Western so you know what you will find. I was there to have a coffee with them and check the hotel inside and the bedroom was ok. So no major comments.

My parents room were in the ground floor, which is very busy and lot of traffic. Since they are 70+ the staff changed them to the 1st floor in a quiet room. The only problem is that the room was above the smoking "area". It was not the official smoking area, but where most of the guest were smoking there. So in the end they were not able to open their window. Besides that everything went fine.

This is a very clean, comfortable and well-maintained hotel. Everything was nice, starting with the main lobby, comfy room with soft beds and a good breakfast. Especially I would like to thank the room service who cleaned everything daily and left everything in order. The breakfast had everything - eggs, sides, cheese, fruits and sweets, coffee and tea, and the restaurant was large and not crowded. The hotel is 300 m from a tram station which connects it to the city center.

The only thing is that the hotel room is sealed - no old-fashioned open window. But this is it for the modern accommodations. One more clothes hanger at the door would not hurt.

The property has all You need, is very clean, has very helpfull and friendly staff. I helped my son move within Amsterdam and it was very convenient. It has a carpark. It is located in a residential area - Shops and restaurants are in walking distance nearby. You can get dinner at the restaurant, prices are good and taste and service is very good.

as convenient it is, also getting there with the car - You need to know that it is beside a motorway - the windows keep the noise out as good as possible and it is like a far even noise. It did not bother my son and me and as said, many people live in this area - I guess its part of living in a big city;-)
