The hotel is situated in Delft old town just off the main square, well placed for everything, with several restaurants within metres and large supermarkets 5 minutes away. It felt boutique and home-like. The bedroom was comfy and well appointed. The bathroom spotless and in good condition. No room refrigerator, but the staff offered the use of the kitchen refrigerator. Breakfast was continental style with an excellent good choice of dishes - quality sourced, and on Delft porcelain. It's an old building, very nicely decorated and has a characteristic steep staircase (no lift). All the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and I should note that the family taxi company they work with were also exceptional. I would definitely go back.

Excellent location - at the same time in the very center of the historical old town, on a square overgrown with old plane trees with a large number of small restaurants and cafes. The hotel itself is very cozy, quiet and clean. The staff is responsive and pleasant. Original interior design. The room is large and comfortable. There is a capsule coffee machine in the room.

I would have rated the hotel higher if it weren't for two things we were missing. First of all, the double bed in the room was made from two separate mattresses, and not from one whole (as they love for some reason in the Netherlands). It’s very uncomfortable, the mattresses keep moving apart. Secondly, there was not a minibar in the room. We wanted to buy some cheese at a local market, but abandoned the idea because there is no mini-fridge in the room.

Rooms were larger than expected, good bathroom with walk in shower (no bath). Very clean throughout hotel and good breakfast buffet. Very friendly staff speaking good English and very helpful. Location in centre of old Delft on former market square which is now traffic free meeting place/street cafe. Many restaurants and bars around square. Easy walk to railway stations and trams, and to the main market square.

Would have liked more ceiling lights in room to provide more even lighting throughout the room. No safe in room.

The hotel location is just great on a central square with many restaurants in from of the hotel. The staff was great, very friendly and helpful to give indication on how to take advantage of the limited time we could spend in Delft. The room and bathroom were very clean with all we needed for our one-night stay. The hotel "standing" (at least in the ground floor we were located) might be improved with a renovation. Some works are on-going without being really visible from the clients. The hotel does not have parking but we could park in a public multi-floor parking at 5 min walking distance. The breakfast was in line with our expectations.

The coffee.....and again the coffee.....a different coffee machine could fix this!

Great rooms!! All super clean and really really cozy! Which is very appreciated. Coffee machine, internet, a desk for working. Very well located, in the center of Delft. We really appreciated here. Worth the price. Thanks to all the staff and welcoming! We were 3 person's enough space. We were very happy with the hotel. We had rented a room in Rotterdam and we had a very bad experience we went directly back here. Is so close is not Worthy to stay in the cities. We did some day excursions to amsterdam, the Hague, and Rotterdam and is perfectly fine. Netherlands has a very efficient and easy transport.

The stairs are steep but, it is like this in all Europe..so no complaints

The location of the hotel is amazing. It is so central, making It very easy to get anywhere and everywhere around the city centre. Close by is a very secure long-stay car park, which was very reassuring - and it was easy to walk from the car park to the hotel with luggage. The room was spacious, very clean, with very comfortable beds. The tea and coffee supplies were adequate and replenished daily. The staff were really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about both the city and the heritage of the hotel itself. We only had breakfast on one day, but it was excellent.

Ideally, a fridge in the room would have been nice.

Very nice hotel in the city centre. Everything is convenient in terms of location, checking in and out. I asked for a quiet room, which was at the back, so no road traffic or facing the square with outdoor seating. It was also huge for a single occupant with a comfy kings bed. The breakfast was especially nice with proper coffee machine, freshly baked bread rolls, selection of Dutch cheeses and salamis, egg mayo spread and some typical Dutch goodies to try, such as herring salad. There is nice décor through out the hotel themed around the painter Vermeer, which is of course quite fitting! All in all very enjoyable and pleasant stay. The only irritating thing during the whole time was the Nescafe coffee machine in the room, which does not take Douwe Egberts coffee pods provided. They just don't fit no matter how hard one tries!

As above, trying to make an espresso with coffee pods that do not work!

The staff were friendly and helpful, printing my boarding pass on request. The hotel was in a square with a choice of restaurants and a wide variety of food. It was also close to my place of work. Even the church bells were not too intrusive.

there is nothing I can really suggest was unpleasent about this hotel, some people might find the sound of church bells at 3am and 4am in the morning slightly annoying

The hotel was an easy 10 minute walk from the station. The area around the hotel felt very safe, as did all of Delft. Both rooms and communal areas were spotlessly clean and very tastefully decorated with a Vermeer / Royal Delft theme. The breakfast was excellent and had something for everyone. The staff were really friendly and helpful. It was also great that there was a very good restaurant next door (Spijshuis de Dis), as we were quite tired after an early start on the day we arrived.

Our room fronted the Beestenmarkt square which was a little noisy at night, but earplugs did help.

The location of the hotel was excellent, close to the station and all the attractions and local restaurants. Our room was quiet and comfortable. The breakfasts were good. Staff very pleasant and helpful.

My only criticism would be the so called tea and coffee facilities in the room . They were very poor, stocks were meagre and the sachets looked as if they had been there for ever! A real let down compared to the rest of the amenities.
