Amazing location for exploring Delft or travelling further. Parking garages nearby and easy to get to. Loved the pancake machine at breakfast and wide choice. Our room and the tiled bathroom with the toilet and sink was beautiful but needed better lighting. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Shower was impossible to control, constantly varying hot to cold. No toaster machine at breakfast. We stayed in the director suite (room 30), it was a lovely elegant room, but it needs a deep clean, with cobwebs and some strange stain on the rig. Could do with more power sockets. Room coffee machine didnt work and fridge barely kept things cool, our tea selection wasnt topped up during our stay

The hotel is in a great location near all the landmarks of Delft and in proximity with several nice bars and restaurants. The hotel's building is very charming and the rooms on both sides have great views on either the Nieuwe Kerk or the canal. I recommend paying extra for the breakfast, as it was very much worth it. The rooms are for the most part spacious and well kept. Beds are comfortable. Staff is very attentive.

We requested a queen size bed but the room we got at first had two separate beds made into one. We brought this up with reception and we got changed to a different room without any hassle. The first room we got was all the way to the top of the building, magnificent view, but also lots of stairs. this room must be very difficult to reach for people with big suitcases

Location, location, location. It's in the center of it all, yet with no crowds or drunk tourists under your windows. Also, surprisingly, good soundproofing. And AC!! - this is a gift from heaven for a person from where I come from, we are used to having ACs at bus stops.

For a 3-star hotel, I think everything was good. Cleaning could be better, but it was ok. A mini-fridge in the room would be very nice, but I guess it's a European thing not to have any. MInor things like a missing bulb - again, not life-changing. Overall, I cannot complain. I had a good stay. I would stay here again.

The main destination of my visit was Delft itself, the hometown of the artist Johannes Vermeer. Little Delft is, in my opinion, a much more pleasant city than Amsterdam and yet it has the best aspects of Amsterdam, i.e. old buildings and canals. If you want to experience the museums of Amsterdam and The Hague, you can quickly reach them by train from Delft. Hotel Johannes Vermeer is located right in the center of Delft, a few minutes' walk from the market. Delft is such a small city that everything important can be easily reached on foot. There is a large and safe parking garage near Hotel Johannes Vermeer, where you can leave your car without worry. The price is 17 euros per day. It's worth remembering that Hotel Johannes Vermeer is not a four-star hotel, but rather a small and personal accommodation, which is exactly what I'm always looking for.

The location was great! I liked the private courtyard in front of our room. I liked the large size of the room, the separate room for the bathroom and second bedroom. The blackout curtains worked wonderfully and it was nice having a fridge. The staff at the front desk and in the breakfast room were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

I could feel the bed springs digging into my back. The side table in the living area had a broken leg, the sink and shower drains were very slow. There was dust on the bedside tables and under the desk. They had a party in the courtyard and the decorations were not removed for the entire three days we were there. The courtyard needs some cleaning and organizing.

Location was absolutely perfect! There was nothing that it was not close by, but yet it was quiet at night. The staff were among the friendliest I have encountered in the NL. Breakfast had all you could ask for.

Okay, I'll admit I would not have objected to an elevator for the first and last day to bring my suitcase upstairs and back down again--I'm older now that I used to be :). But I knew there was none and not having one did not change my rating. I will still stay here above any other properties I have used in Delft.

Great location on a canal, too bad the restaurant wasn't open for dinners. The VIEW from my room (#10) was spectacular! Sun before & after the ground level was in shade.

The STAIRS to my room (#10) - 4 flights to the attic! The last flight was a spiral, difficult to get my carryon suitcase up/down. Flights 2 & 3 wre typical steep Dutch stairs with a turn on top & bottom of each flight. I think the hotel should have confirmed that I am fit & able-bodied to assign me that room. Usually I request only one flight of stairs if no lift, but I forgot this time (I have been in & out of hotels every 4 days for a month so missed thus one!) The shower water pressure wasn't good but don't know if that is just at the attic/4th level or thru-out hotel.

Great location in the centre of Delft. Room is large and clean. Comfortable bed.

We paid in advance to make sure our reservation would not go wrong. My husband came one night earlier and initially they placed him in a room which could hardly be called a double room with such a narrow bed. The next day they moved us to a different room but this was just the kind of hassle that we had tried to prevent from happening by paying in advance. In addition, when I called to ask why we did not get a double room the person on the phone couldn't really care less.

Fresh orange juice and variety of breakfast choices. Location ideal for Zuid Carpark - 5 mins walk away and close to main square and places of interest. Great rooftop views from room on 3rd floor. Staff friendly and helpful. Loved the mural of Girl with The Pearl Earring in restaurant section. Enjoyed a lovely ground floor suite first night, very spacious and quiet.

Narrow steep staircases to 3rd floor room! (Group booking made before us so could not have same room). Congestion at breakfast buffet, as narrow walkway and not the most ideal layout of food. Church clock bells going off regularly heard in 3rd floor room situated adjacent to main square.

The hotel is in a very beautiful part of the city and it's itself very quaint. The room overlooked a canal and quiet street. We couldn't hear any disturbance from outside but could we great any other guests. The room was spotlessly clean and the mattress very comfortable for our standard room. The smell of breakfast was tantalising as soon as the bedroom door was opened and it proved to be as good as it smelled. The staff were friendly and helpful and the price was good. Would happily go back again

The only very minor criticism was that some of the bathroom fittings were very tired. But they didn't distract from a wonderful experience.
