Beautifully situated in the woods, fantastic parking lots with tons of spaces, beautiful building. Front desk staff (particularly Marjolein) extremely friendly, helpful and welcoming. Jeroen, the bartender was also so friendly and professional. Rooms comfortable and spacious. AMAZING buffet breakfast, everything you could imagine both hot and cold.

Only one thing, that there was no electrical outlet to charge my phone on either side of the bed, only in the bathroom or on the wall in the bedroom. Otherwise, nothing else was bad.

Very nice and clean property, design in my taste. I love location- forest is beautifully. But property is just a building, this place make people- staff working there. Everyone is very nice and polite and very helpful but I would like make thank especially to Arnold- the host and Diana - receptionist: for them everything is possible also they care about the customers and make my stay at the property special. Next time if I will have dog show at Netherlands I will back to this hotel definitely 💯

The area was amazing for long walks with the dog. Very short drive to Amersfoort, which was absolutely lovely. The quietness in the evening was certainly to be enjoyed. The view from our terrace, just begged to be embraced.

The bed was not properly aligned, so you felt as if your head was on a downward slope. While the mattresses just keep sliding apart. Otherwise the room was great. Just remember that there is no air-conditioning, which I didn't request when booking.

The hotel lies in the woods, and is a lovely haven of peace and quiet. Amazingly, it lies along the highway, but this is hidden by trees and the traffic is not audible from the room. The construction of wood and stone gives the hotel a pleasant natural feel. Breakfast buffet was varied and good. Inviting indoor seating and continuously available coffee and tea made the experience very comfortable. The rooms are comfortably functional, with the big plus of an outdoor balcony from which you can enjoy the woods. The bed is comfortable, and everything was very clean.

Finding the hotel reception was a bit of a challenge. The door is in the middle of the building, but signs point in all directions. A refrigerator in the room would have been nice.

Situated on the outskirts of Amersfoort close to motorways, cycle-routes etc. There is even a bus stop-stop in front of the reception building. Helpful and friendly staff and a nice lounge area with coffee/tea facilities. The room was very clean, comfortable and modern with a small terrace looking out over a wooded area and nice grounds for a stroll after dinner. There was a good choice of bread, cold-cuts, fruit, cereal, eggs etc. for breakfast, and it was nice weather so we were able to sit outside to eat it.

The hotel kitchen was being renovated so there was only a buffet style 3-course meal available. The choices were very limited (1 starter, 5 mains, 1 desert) and at 36.50 euros p/p i thought it was very expensive.

It’s a unique looking place and it being a school for philosophy gives it an extra dimension. Staff is very friendly and helpful, rooms are clean and modern and if you have a room on the ground floor like me you can walk from the backside of your room straight into the forest. Breakfast is sumptuous. Rooms are quiet which is good since the hotel is located almost directly next to the highway. Plenty of free parking including charging for EV’s.

The only thing I didn’t like is that it’s located very (very) close the highway. The location of the hotel is beautiful as it is on the edge of a large forest area but the noise of the traffic is a huge annoyance.

Was a comfortable room with a nice view of the forest (but there were no other amenities; safe, fridge or hairdryer). There is a small terrace at the room that overlooks the forest. The staff was nice. The breakfast was good, there were several options. We only missed more hot options for breakfast.

The beds were two single beds, and they moved quite easily. The window to the bathroom was left open and was not so easy to reach to close it.

Very peaceful location. Perfect for our dog. We could go for a walk in the forest and then walk to the city on foot. Amersfoort city also surprised for good. Very charming and a lot of choices for eating and having some fun.

The only thing is that you don't have any place close to eat in the hotel, or you walk to the city or you eat in the hotel that is a bit expensive. Then there is no fridge in the room. So having some of your own food is also a bit complicated. But we love walking so it wasn't a problem for us to come and go to the city. You also can drive there if you want but parking in the city is complicated.

Nice large room, well layed out bathroom, good breakfast buffet , nice surroundings ( parking side a bit noisy, but the rooms windows are garden park side and quiet. Add to that a friendly and helpfull staff - I forgot a charger and they sent it to me prompto. It was my second visit and I hope not my last.

Rooms are basic but very well-thought-out. Clean bathroom with option bath tub or shower. Small covered terrace or balcony. You can walk straight from your terrace into the woods. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet offered lots of choices. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside on the sun terrace, which looks out onto woodland. Parking ample and close by.
