This is a fantastic hotel….breakfast and dinner exceptional….the whole ambiance of the hotel is something you will not regret trying out!

We are of an age where we have to get up several times during the night to relieve ourself….the room we had had a separate toilet however the bathroom and toilet were on opposite sides of the main sleeping area which meant that after you were finished in toilet you had to go past sleeping area and into bathroom to wash hands as there is no wash hand basin in the toilet…..something needs more thought! Other than this minor annoyance everything else was way beyond good/excellent!

We were greeted as if we were friends coming for a visit. The staff were all very friendly/professional and we were treated very well. The building is absolutely gorgeous from one end to the other. Beautiful architecture, mixed with modern art ..every inch was new and different and stunning. The room was wonderful, from the very comfortable bed right down to the warm cozy smelling hand soap. The restaurant food was off the charts delicious and unique, and sitting up above the "Alter" with the windows was the most unique and special dining experience. Absolutely love it, it made our 20th anniversary extra special and we couldnt have been happier with our stay there.

Not a single thing. This place was sheer perfection. Don't change a thing.

Beautiful hotel, lovely staff, delicious cocktails at the bar, welcome glass of champagne was a lovely touch. The valet parking was great not having to worry about finding parking etc.

It was quite noisy in the room - staff in the hallway talking loudly, banging doors, room was ground level so the noise of scooters/cars close to the window, the blinds didn't block out the light well - pack ear plugs and an eye mask. Also, while the bed was very comfy, the metal legs on the bed were hard to see so my partner cut his toe on the bed leg (and I stubbed my toes twice). So beware the bed legs!

Leandra was professional, helpful and very friendly Front desk all friendly and professional. Bell Staff idem Breakfast lovely. Great service Catering lady Ceyline (or something like that )not willing to meet my wishes half way. She ordered 15 Risotto and 5 Fish for my group. It was supposed to be 15 fish and 5 Risotto Staff not wll-trained to meet customers needs.

The dust under my bed (room 107) No hangers in the bathroom for towels and nightgown Glass doors to hallway in the way. Not practical.

I like pretty much everything of this beautiful Monastery turned into a beautiful 5* Hotel. You can smell the history. But the exceptional staff made my day. I booked an weekend in this hotel to celebrate the birthday of my husband. The staff helped me organize sweet balloons in the room with a nice piece of cake from the Bakery. The warm attention you get is definitely a plus. Unfortunately the weather on the second day was not do good, but the Kruisherenhotel has also it’s own culinaire restaurant, so you don’t need to leave the hotel to search for a good restaurant. The bathrooms are very clean and our room had 2 sinks so while I was busy with my make up, my husband could brush his teeth without getting in the way. And ofcourse, we had our own Nespresso machine. Thank you Kruisherenhotel!

Nothing worth to mention

Beautifully restored and redesigned former gothic monastery, building and rooms provide a true 5 star wow factor

Room temperature control kept the rooms uncomfortably warm (over 21 degrees at night )- open windows was the only option to bring the temperature to a more comfortable level to sleep

Kudos to Ms. Desiree Dils - hands on and omnipresent seasoned, experienced and stylish Directeur/GM is simply awesome - she leads from the front in all aspects. Every little detail was taken care of to ensure that we were looked after - even the hotel acknowledged and celebrated when my soccer team won and we had surprises awaiting us throughout our relaxing week’s stay. Right from the cheerful Ivo greeting us at the Royal Copper entrance to this magnificent property to the super-efficient and friendly staff (Milan, Heike, Peter and especially Loïs for impeccable restaurant recommendations themed with our mood and preferred choice) everything was perfect. The smiles on faces of the staff team speak louder than a 1000 words. Our rooms were tastefully decorated and bathroom was enormous for European standards. The little gnome table next to the bath made us smile everyday. Dining experience at the Altar was nice and the Panthof terrace is a serene and peaceful spot to unwind and chill. Absolutely must stay when visiting Maastricht - you won’t regret it. Keep being brilliant; Desiree & Team Kruisheren!!!!!!

Gorgeous hotel - really enjoyed the clever architecture and superb restaurant. Good location - in the middle of town, so everywhere was walkable. Bar is very nice, great aesthetics.

The breakfast was really expensive for what was on offer. Not worth it. The parking is a bit of a scam - they insist on valet parking your car (approx 40 Euros per day) when there's a perfectly decent parking lot at the entrance of the hotel.

It is an impressive building in a great location. This converted church has the wow factor. The bar and restaurant facilities are good and the staff are friendly and efficient.

The designer rooms were rather impractical! There was a TV near the floor at the end of the bed, a plastic leprechaun in the shower and a light switch in the middle of the bathroom mirror.
