At the first view the hotel looks somewhat old fashioned ( the restaurant makes you think at Tirol :)), but it is a good, non nonssens hotel, which is well situated on about 3 kms from Maastricht city. You get value for your money. The location of the hotel offers a good starting point for bicycle tours. There is secured bicycle storage garage. The Comfort room was best OK and the bathroom comfortable and very clean. Very good service. The personnel is very friendly, helpful and client oriented. The food on the menu was just excellent and tasteful ( a very good chef) and the breakfast was very good. I would go there again without hesitation.

There was a kind of fish smell when you enter the room. This is apparently caused by construction work nextdoors. The hotel is located alongside the busy road to Aachen. Considering the room was at the backside of the hotel, there was no problem of noise in the room, even with the window open. Sitting in the garden for a beer, the noise of the cars on the road was sometimes ennoying. But even with this remarks, it remains a good hotel.

Although the location of the property is a little outside of Maastricht, the views were lovely. The property was right beside a big field, and there were plenty of opportunities to take a relaxing walk around the area.

The staircase was a little narrow, so it was difficult to carry my suitcase up to my room. Also there way no way to iron my clothes inside the room. A small flaw was the bathroom door, which was a sliding type door.

the room was very comfortable, clean and quiet (it included a bath!!), staff pleasant and helpful, and the hotel was situated outside of the city, near some very lovely countryside.

personally i thought the breakfast was a little unimpressive for the cost of it... also it would've been great to have a tea-making facility in the room

The hotel has its own local character unlike the several hotel chains in town. The room was comfortable, with a modern bathroom with enough room to shower. It is far enough away from the main city and from the main road to sleep well. The rooms are isolated well enough to limit the noise from other guests, but you can hear noises from the hallway to some extent when guests make noise and have conversations leaving and entering their rooms. It has a side night entrance in case you decide to come in late at night after a night in Maastricht or the nearby towns. It has all the main comforts like tv, wifi, a fan, a comfortable bed, and my room had a small table with comfortable chairs which might not be standard, a small desk and chair, and a closet with enough closet room. The room gets cleaned well as far as I can tell. Breakfast is worth the extra cost and gets you ready for a busy day with a selection of bread rolls, ham/cheese and spreads, orange juice, coffee or thee, and boiled eggs. Dinner is available until 20.30 and is nice for a local hotel, especially with one of the local beers, and has enough people dining to make it inviting. There is ample free parking space and the possibility to hire a garage box if you want. The staff is professional, very nice, and helpful to both local and international guests. The location is wonderful to travel through at the edge of Maastricht and with lots of nearby villages and sights to visit, especially with good weather in spring and summertime. The hotel restaurant is on one of the main roads leading into Maastricht and to the large congress center MECC which can be reached easily within15 minutes.

There was an unexplained vague smell of fish that I didn't notice anywhere else but in the room. The room was thoroughly cleaned though. So maybe it came from outside?

Very special little hotel with an intimate vibe, friendly staff, nice breakfast. The parking availability is a plus.

Maybe because is an old building we noticed a rare, displeasant odor in the hallway to the rooms, nevertheless everything looked very clean.

Newly renovated /modern en suite bathroom. Shower was great. TV in the room was a smart TV and very uncomplicated which was nice. Everything was clean. Bed was comfortable.

All the sound from the restaurant could be heard in our room including the loud music. Coffee at breakfast needs some work. It would be nice to have a tea/coffee station in the room.

We've had a nice stay here. Nice clean room and good friendly service. Good bus connection to the center of Maastricht and the train station.

The little bit older look in the room isn't our style, but it was nicely cleaned, and that's the most important.

The room was quiet with plenty of view and fresh air, clean and tidy hotel. Never sleep well in a hotel, but here I had no problem of dozing off and waking refreshed. Very friendly and helpful staff, breakfast with freshly baked bread and good croissants. Bargain for the value!

May sound dull, but I have no idea what could have been better.

The surroundings are flabbergasting, very quiet and in close connection with nature, the mattress is also very comfortable, great smart TV, all in all a great place to get fully charged after a full day

The room has no minibar/small fridge also, I suppose the walls are rather thin since I could hear the neighbours in the room above me and next to me
