The location although on the outskirts, was close enough for a nice walk into town and to the beach. The three busses we needed for the main ride into Leiden town (the main town with trains etc) was only a short walk away. The room was large and the beds were very comfortable. There was plenty of storage for our clothes so that we didn't have to live out of our suitcase all week. The continental breakfast was lovely too, with lots of options available. If you're stuck for places to eat dinner, I recommend Open Doors (the ribs were the most amazing I've ever had) and Ko Sing (everything was freshly prepared and delicious)

The shower wasn't very powerful, but it did the job. The toilet itself was positioned in an odd place so we were staring at a very closeup tiled wall. Again, not an issue, just little bit odd.

We were surprised about the big size of the apartment. It was comfortable an clean. Television with German and English channels. Some free parking spots. The location was very nice with lots of old houses. Much better than close to the sea...

The wifi was good in the living room but not great in the bedroom. The bathtub unfortunately did not hold the water completely so taking a long hot bath did not work as expected.

First time in an appartment in Hotel Royal - nice and spacious dwelling, well equiped kitchen! Bed is on the soft side, but that's anyway a matter of personal preference. Hotel staff is very helpful - they handled rental bike drop-off and pick-up for me without any issues. Very much appreciated and allowed me to maximise the usage time of my rental bike. Location is conveniently close to a supermarket, a few bus stops, some stores and eateries, and the beach isn't too far to walk either. Will gladly come back again!

Wifi was working fine in the living room but was patchy in the bed room. No real issue, just keep in mind if walking around while requiring online services.

The room and bathroom was clean, and had what was needed. Appreciated having the small fridge. Breakfast offer was excellent, and the staff were very welcoming. Location is a short walk from amenities, and also short walk to bus which goes to Leiden Central.

Having a plug socket near the head of the bed would have been helpful. Room was a bit warm, but a fan was provided.

The facilities were modern. Size of living space, plus bathroom and bedroom very good. The manager, and all staff were friendly, and answered all our queries. We thought the location was superb.

It would have been nice to have had a washing machine. However, we are not complaining since we or rather I knew that, but I thought the town on Norrwick (spelling?) would have a launderette -it did'nt. The bathroom was very good, BUT I think we have been with you 17 times it won a wooden spoon since it had not one hook.

Nice hotel with a parking place. Clean apartment in Duch style with separate bathroom (kettle, microwave and fridge available). Friendly staff, quiet neighbourhood.

Not recommended if you need a company invoice. Any invoice changes or adjustments "cannot be done" and only one person in the entire hotel knows how to modify it. And if it's unavailable, you have a problem, just like us.

Breakfest was great and the town was beautiful, hotel was also near sea so we could get there by foot in about 15 minutes. Personal at the hotel was very nice, one evening we even wake the nice lady up in the morning because we were to loud and she wasnt even that angery and was very polite. Great experience

Beer at the hotel was expensive for our meurements, but it was about normal price in Holand so its ok.

We loved our daily breakfast and they were so kind to always have tables reserved for our group of eight!! We enjoyed getting to know the staff in the evening, especially, when we hung out in the billiards’ tables’ room near the bar area. That was so much fun!! Also outdoor seating with a little table just outside the door of our little “apartments”. It was great and “homey”!

Good breakfast, good that bike could be put inside, the location is central, the big terrace

it was very hot, so I had also to open during the night the door of the terrace which worked fine, it is just that the terrace is accessible to everyone of the hotel guests which may not be liked by everyone.

Well located on the centre of the old village. We had an apartment so could cook or hsve a takeaway as we liked. Good value forcthe area. Friendly staff.

Bed was a bit soft for my taste. The bedroom didn't have any windows, although the living area did.
