Super friendly service. Temporary and casual, yet extremely personal and professional. Every single one of the hosts gave you the feeling to be welcome and felt like he/she was going out of his/her way to give you the best time possible. Whatsapp communication was very convenient and efficient. The villa itself is beautiful and extremely well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bathrooms brand new. The bed was very comfortable. We specifically enjoyed the generously sized balcony. The AZZURO wellness center is only a few steps away. Breakfast was excellent.

this was truly a five star boutique spot! We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant and they were perfect chef creations. We could see the ocean from our room and we watched the tulip festival parade from our balcony. The staff (and Sophie) were amazing! We had traveled all night via plane and were so tired and they hustled to accommodate us early. I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place. 5 stars!

The location is far from the city, which was ok for us once we got our bearings, but this is not a place to stay if you plan to go into the city unless you rent a car. We perfected our public transportation skills, but still had to uber/taxi a few times from the city back to Noordwijk, which is very expensive. (150-200 Euro one way) FYI You cannot get an uber in Noordwijk-you will need to get a taxi or figure out bus 385.

Staff kept the room clean and were helpful and friendly. They helped us set up our phones so we could open our room door with our phones. The room was quiet with a nice view of the town. Staff responded quickly to our emails and helped us book the Tulip Experience as well as a spa day during our stay. Highly recommend the spa day, it is a short walk from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious and ready when requested. Good location to walk to the beach, boardwalk and bus stop. One comment though, we made the mistake of booking dinner at the hotel on the day of our arrival and it was 2 and 1/2 hours long! We were exhausted and while the food was excellent we would have enjoyed it more if we had saved that experience for a later date when we were more rested. Would definitely recommend this hotel for those looking for a quiet, relaxing stay with friendly staff and good food.

The room was well kept but the bed had a permanent sag in the mattress and was a little soft for our liking. Bathroom was spotless but the tub has slippery and there was no rubber tub mat making showering precarious.

Fantastic restaurant. We had enjoyed a wonderful dinner, and stayed over for one night. On both days we had a wonderful walk on the nearby beach. Complementary access to a great health club with pool and other facilities was a very welcome treat. Overall a wonderful visit.

The hotel room was expensive given its size and (lack of) view.

The staff was very friendly. The room was great with beautiful lightning - very cosy. It also came with a big balcony and the bathroom also had a bathtub. Beds super comfy!

It was slightly noisy as our room was just above the dining area and next to the main street. But it was not too bad. We still slept very well.

Restaurant we didnt try, as we wanted to go for a walk in the morning and try something by the beach but even the price of breakfast appeared to us quite high. And for the dinner we had different plans so maybe next time but the Room was nice, confortable and we even had a little balcony where I could have my morning coffe which was lovely. We really like the style how was everything arranged (from rooms, halls, even to the outside of hotel). And we had sooooo much fun with your "key system" we have nowhere experienced something like that :D unbelievable to have an app for doors.

in the morning somebody started to do some technical work and we could hear when we were waking up like somebody is cutting some kid of pipe or what. But it toook only like 5-10 minutes

Always an amazing experience at Villa de Duinen. The best hotel in Noordwijk with the most friendly staff. They really make you feel welcome and go the extra mile. A short walk to the beach and free spa access are a big plus. The breakfast is the best i've ever had. No crowded buffets but served at your table, everything made to order and fresh.

The breakfast and the room were just perfect. We had other meal appointments but for next time we would love to try the restaurant as we were very pleased with the breakfast.

There was a bit of humidity in the room, we had the deluxe Room, not sure if it had to do with the storm weather or not. But other than that all was perfect.

Very comfortable room, got great sun in afternoon. Dinner was incredible. Staff super friendly. Spa was great and you get bags w robes and towels to take with you. Very tasty breakfast.

Would be nice if there were more complimentary aspects to the stay- breakfast included for example

* Both dinner as well as breakfast we're absolutely delicious! * The room had a very large balcony with relaxing chairs, seating area including blankets in case it would get a bit colder. With a nice view this was a lovely place to be. * I love the way you can enter the room by just pressing the "open room" on your phone (via the email received)

Very minor, so maybe more for consideration of Villa de Duinen itself * Compared to the size of the bathroom & the balcony, the room itself feels a bit more squeezed. * Maybe personal but the closet for clothes was a bit damaged & looking out of synch with the rest of the furniture
