Rooms are clean, comfortable and with good sound proofing. The airconditioning is quiet and works well. The location on the south side of the Maas means you are not dead in the (commercial) center of Rotterdam, but the Metro (RET) right next to the hotel takes you there in 2 minutes.

I was there for one week for a congress at Ahoy. The hotel is directly opposite the tram and underground station, perfect to get to Ahoy (only one stop) and to the city center. All staff were lovely; hotel manager Lisa in particular made sure I was comfortable and the room suited my visit. I got upgraded to a quieter, larger room with a lovely view (specially at night) which was super comfortable for both relaxing and work, and she checked on me to ensure everything was good. The restaurant staff were also excellent and the Italian food is delicious. I had five meals and a couple of buffet breakfasts and every single one of them was really enjoyable. Excellent customer service, a lovely room and restaurant!

You can hear the trains from the hotel. Unavoidable with the hotel being so close to the station and after a while you don't notice it but it can be a bit unsettling on arrival.

I use this hotel quite often. The location is good and next to the metro station. The rooms are great and always clean. The upgrade of the hotel looks good. Still a good hotel for me that I hope to visit again in the future.

Somehow there was little to no ventilation in my room, which made a warm night in summer. The staff could be a bit more client-focused. I realise they have many guests, but still... With paid parking until late evening around the hotel, this hotel is less attractive to me. The hotel lately seems to increase their prices, which makes it less attractive, though at the same time, there is not much choice on the south side of Rotterdam.

The rooms were very spacious and clean, huge comfortable bed, and nice view. The decore of the room was modern enough, I would just swap out the old switches and sockets. The lobby, bar and restaurant downstairs were recently renovated and they've done a great job. It looks upscale and expensive, yet I found the room prices were still reasonable. I hope this doesn't change. Lovely breakfast with many options and a nice Italian restaurant with a hefty menu. I'm not the biggest fan of Italian food, but it was nice enough. The starters are large enough to split between 2/3 people. Breakfast was a bit pricy, but it's buffet style so have your fill. The staff were lovely and super attentive.

The amenities were quite minital. Just shampoo, shower gel and hand soap for toiletries. There was a hair dryer and towels but no conditioner or lotion. If you eat at the restaurant, you'll have to pay separately so you cannot add the tab to your room.

The room was spacious and business-like. The bed was great. Walking distance from public transport, which is very convenient.

It is bizarre that when you buy a bottle of water in the bar, you have to pay a deposit. Empty bottles in the rooms should automatically be put in crates by housekeeping so that the hotel will get the deposit back. I would like to suggest that all staff at reception speaks the Dutch language. Not all people speak English. It should be compulsory for those that are foreign employees to immediately start learning the language of the country they are in.

Great hotel!! I stayed in a great hotel during my recent visit to the city. The hotel is located within walking distance of the metro and tram stations, making it easy to get to from anywhere in the city. The hotel's entrance is luxurious, and the décor of the rooms and floors is elegant. The bed was extremely comfortable, the room was very clean, and the bathroom was wonderful. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Here are some of the specific details that I liked about the hotel: * Convenient hotel location * Luxurious décor * Comfortable bed * Clean room * Wonderful bathroom * Friendly and helpful reception staff

* The bar is located directly after the entrance, which may not be suitable for some families. * The late check-out option is a bit pricey, and only for two hours after the official checkout time. * The hotel is not located in the heart of the city, so expect to ride a few subway or tram stations to get to the city center.

Honestly, I was first skeptical with pictures of old bathroom in the review by previous guests, apparently as we arrived, they were doing major renovation on many floors and also the reception area, and the picture of old bathroom is probably has been renovated/upgraded. We got a standard room for less than 70 Eur and it was more than what we expected, the mattress is thick and high, decent interiors that makes you feel cozy and at home, heater worked well, and the bathroom look like a mix of minimalist and industrial with the concrete material wash basin, modern shower faucet, complete hygiene bottles provided. location is great, it is literally next to a metro station. On building orientation wise, the hotel is located with Erasmus bridge view or the sea view. But we got room that is facing on the other side which I was slightly sad because I really wanted to have the other side view but, it turned out that it has a very lovely sunrise view.

it has two ventilation exhaust fans, and it can be a bit disturbingly cold when occupying the room during cold season, winter. but nevertheless, you can just flip off the fan fully or half closed manually. The room exceeded our expectation however there is slight discomfort with the bathroom, I noticed there is no ventilation there that probably caused moldy smell that might been growing somewhere hidden around the wall panel.

The cleanliness, the check in was a blessing i was able to check in early. The room was spacious and clean. Bathrooms are for me very important and this was very modern and clean. I was quite comfy. The bed was a queen size, which was a plus. The entire ambiance was great. I was allowed to stay a bit over after check out as i had a few work meetings which required wifi, so I appreciated that a lot.

The beds were a bit on the hard side. A bit noisy from the passing metro even at the 11th floor, but not overwhelming. The room was very hot. I woke up drenched in sweat.

The quadruple room is exceptionally beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. As in the pictures. It has excellent connectivity to all parts of the city.

The entire ground floor of the hotel is currently undergoing renovations, and as a result, the hotel's restaurant, lobby, and other facilities are not available. I believe that the renovations will be excellent once they are completed. However, it is an unpleasant surprise that Booking did not inform guests of this situation. While my family found it acceptable, the information should have been communicated during the booking process.

The Hotel is located just besides the Station, making it very easy to travel to Rotterdam City center and back.We had asked for a room on the 10th Floor which was not allocated to us initially. However, the lady at the reception was very kind enough to upgrade us to a Suite (I forgot to note her name but thank you though). This is a very good hotel if you are staying as a couple / with friends.

The shower area if covered could be safer and avoid the risk of slipping. The hotel is a bit far away from the city center and you may have limited connectivity late in the night.
