All the front desk hotel staff were very responsive, efficient, and supportive. Breakfast was excellent, but expensive and was in addition to the cost of the room. The one thing lacking was having a simple restaurant on site throughout the day, (which I believe they had before COVID) as there was no restaurant within easy walking distance, and making arrangements for an evening meal was always away from the hotel, requiring a taxi both ways. Regular taxis in Rotterdam were unreliable, even when specifically called, except if the hotel itself called on our behalf. It appears that most people now use ride services (ex. Uber) The hotel is too distant from the main tourist areas to walk, but it is close to public transport, which the staff were willing to explain if you chose to use it.

The absence of an onsite food facility, even just offering some simple food items, but they did have a bar.

High-quality small boutique hotel within a safe and luggage-friendly 15-minute walk of the Rotterdam Centraal train station. Excellent you of a size good enough for 2 people. Very good ventilation system in the room (actually works as advertised, unlike many hotels). Faces an open recreational park area so lots of light and not noisy. Hotel has bikes available to rent, which was a nice option. Nice lobby/dining area, suitable for an evening drink.

Breakfast has limited hot food choices. Very few, if any, quality dining options nearby.

What matters for me the most is a comfortable bed and a good shower. Both were very good. Also the overall appearance is quite pleasant, modern and not cheap looking, although maybe a tad too dark, but that is personal taste.

Space is clearly "precious", the rooms are quite small, not unacceptably small though. I always use the stairs even if I was at the top floor, however when leaving with the luggage I had to wait some time for the elevator

I liked the overall design of the hotel and the bathroom. The beds were very comfy and it was a quiet location.

We could hear every step the person in the room above us did - not because they were particularly noisy, not at all, but because the ceiling creaked loudly. The same when they took a shower, the water pipes were very loud. The room was a shoebox, super tiny.

They charged my credit card, instead of just holding a transaction, in case of any charges they needed to recover. They refunded the amount when I checked out, however I am out of pocket because of the exchange rate charges on my credit card. I told them this at check out and asked them to contact me, to at least apologise, but no contact. This is an irritating point, in what was otherwise a good stay. The reaction of front desk staff was “I don’t know why some of my colleagues do it this way”, instead of what I would have preferred being, “I’m very sorry about this, I will discuss it with management and make sure our procedures are updated so you and other guests don’t incur this extra charge in future”.

it was very stylist and clean. close to the main station and town centre. we received a complimentary drink that was a nice touch.

in was a little bit cold, so best idea is to keep the heating on a timer whilst you are out. also we had a picture of an old man in room (204) we had to cover up with a T-shirt because it was a bit creepy. the lights where a bit to dim, one light was broken but not a big deal.

The location was convenient for the train station, a 10 minute walk, which is why I choose it. however, it’s a good 20 minute walk to the centre. There was very little (bars/restaurants) close by. The room was very clean and modern, very comfy and big double bed. Staff were friendly enough.

There was no drinking water in the room. The room was very dark especially the bathroom which had no natural light. The bar closed at 10.45 so we were unable to have a drink with friends on arrival. Despite having paid in full before arrival I was asked to pay a €100 bond for each room, just in case of breakages etc. Its an over 23 years old only hotel. I felt it was a bit pretentious and trying to be something it wasn’t. I thought it was very expensive for what it was and I wished we’d stayed elsewhere.

The hotel is about 10 mins' walk from Rotterdam Central Station. The view from our room was great with large windows. Breakfast was quite good at a discounted price of EUR 17.5.

The shower drain was too slow causing water to fill up. Reported this to the front desk but no improvement at all. Could hear people walking upstairs at night which was a bit annoying.

Nice room, updated furnishings, modern bathroom clean, bed was comfortable and room was dark. Could not hear any noise in hallways, and staff were friendly. Walking distance to cafes and 5 min walk to Rotterdam central. Would stay here again.

The interior of the hotel was super super stylish, bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The location of the hotel was good, walking distance to the train station, bus stops, cafes and shops.

There was a bad smell in the hotel lobby such as a drainage smell. Stairs are extremely narrow so if the elevator is not available, it is quite uncomfortable to use the stairs.
