The room was great for family, and our girls loved their upstairs room. The beds were very comfortable. Everything was provided, towels, shampoo, hair dryer, etc. This hotel is located near restaurants and shops, which was very convenient. The downstairs restaurant, Mail Company, was lovely, and we all had breakfast in there. Felt so christmassy with their surrounding lights. It was easy to get to Zaanse Schans by hopping on the nearby train station.

The pillows provided were too soft. It would have been nice to have firmer ones for extra support. That's the only cons we have about this hotel.

Location is about a 10 minute walk from the station which can take you to Amsterdam central in less than 15 minutes. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and large, made it difficult to get out of bed in the morning :) Hotel is wonderfully decorated, especially the rooms with pretty lighting. Staff were also very kind and open to questions and very helpful if anything was needed.

Only downside was the breakfast, it was one platter for 4 people which we felt wasn’t enough :(

Great layout for a family that is a rare find with some hotels. There was a ton of storage space in the room so things didn't feel thrown about and disorganized for a long stay. The bathroom being divided into a toilet and shower room with a sink in the main room was nice for everyone to have privacy and use simultaneously.

Bring your own shampoo, only conditioner and body wash provided. One morning during our stay the water was turned off for maintenance without notice, luckily we had all finished showers and getting ready but that would have been really unfortunate. Assuming it was an emergency fix, but some communication would have been appreciated.

A little bit strange the fact that the room was very small and dark but I think this is something usual in Netherlands. We were 4 persons for 4 nights but we only had 2 toilet papers, just an example. The cleaning only came to take the garbage and make the bed. I did not really enjoy the breakfast, less food and a lot of bread.

We were really early and couldn't check in yet but the hotel kept our luggage stored whilst we went to central Amsterdam. The Hotel is easy to find when you get off the train, it's close to central Amsterdam which is what we were there to see. Really clean, the 4 bed family room is a mezzanine and it was great. Beds comfy, perfect room for 4 friends to share. Kettle and a variety of teas/coffee too.

Shower was lovely but the water had a tendency to pool where you stand.

I liked that it was easy to find and check in was a breeze. Would have loved to connect with a human, if only on video chat. Also would have liked the option to get 2 room keys. And we didn’t know how much breakfast was so we had to ask.

The drain in the shower did not work well enough to keep up with the water output. The handheld part of the shower was broken, according to my husband.

Amazing room, one of the best we have stayed in. For a family of 3, we got a 2 storied room with plenty of space. Impeccable cleanliness, and very handy facilities for the price including hair dryers, plenty of wardrobe and storage space, locker facilities! Well thought layout with compartmentalising the shower, toilet and wash into separate spaces slowing the family to get ready quickly!

For some strange reason, despite all additional facilities we could find a body wash/soap.

Everything. Great family room, excellent location. Ideal as a base for visiting Amsterdam and the surrounding area.

Nothing. The only thing I would say is that the breakfast (excellent) is brought to you on a three tier platter and there is a lot to eat. Some of which we couldn't finish. I just hope it doesn't go to waste.

Nice looking and modern rooms. No problem with late check in. Staff very friendly. Beds very comfy. Central location in charming city of Zandaam 20 min by car from city centre of Amsterdam.

Too dark inside rooms. Design won with practicality. There are some mirrors but no light in their area for example mirror in bathroom has heating but no light ;) so if u are lady, you will do make up in the lift :))
