We were late arriving due to several road closures resulting in extended travel times. We phoned ANZAC Court and they gave us late check-in details but upon arrival they meet us in person. That was lovely after a loooong 10 hour journey. The room had small toiletries for our convience. Clean towels daily. Bottled water, tea, coffee, milk capsules provided. Clean. Well located. Our room had a hot water cylinder. Great to dry the towels overnight. Sky TV. Free wifi which worked perfectly.

Location was good for what we were there for. We were there for a concert at the Bruce Mason centre which is a 10 minute walk which was good. Staff were nice, appartment was clean except for a used slipper under one of the couches. Had all we needed.

The outside appearance of the hotel isn’t very nice looking and makes it look a little dodgy. The appartment itself is nice though. Good for one night stay but if I were staying more than a couple nights probably would have gone somewhere else. Was a bit worried about my car in the parking area. Also in the bedroom I stayed in the bed was too big for the room, I couldn’t shut the door as it hit the bed. We moved the bedside table over to then move the bed over to be able to shut the door, but that then blocked the PowerPoint beside the bedside table from being able to be used.

Didnt have breakfast, but the location was very central to local shops. The streets around the motel were nice and quiet.

There was no lighting going down the concrete its quite dangerous without adquate lighting esp on rough concrete stairs. Put some lights down the side as it is a safey hazard. And our stay would have been better if the construction of new buildings right next door wasn't going on. Very loud first thing in the morning. Thought that management knowing this would have charged a bit less in the rates for room.

Great location, handy to show venue, able to walk across road to Countdown on corner, plus Sunday market was just up road! Comfortable bed, nice clean room, just little small as Studio, toilet was right up against slider door, Staff on welcome, we’re friendly, I made mistake not to check, room booked did not have stove as part of kitchenette, just microwave, fridge and kettle, that’s on me, still value for money.

As mentioned little small, squeeze past person in kitchen to get to bathroom, toilet hard up against slider door, toilet roll to right.

Great location and walking distance to terrific restaurants. Very comfortable bed and quiet room. Staff very friendly and helpful getting heater remote to work. Excellent value for the money.

Kitchen was advertised as only fridge, that's okay however no dish drain and no coffee plunger although when we asked they politely found one for us.

The location was perfect for walking into the centre of Takapuna. Bed were so comfortable with lovely quality linens. The hosts were very friendly and there to help if needed. We would highly recommend staying here and we will be back again in the future ☺️

There was nothing special about the premises but the staff was wonderful, the location was great. You could walk to downtown, the lake and the beach. And the room was clean and had all the extras you might need. Tooth brush, shaving kit, shampoo, soap, any thing you might have forgotten.

There were ants, as soon as we arrived they were out hunting for our food The free wifi was really poor, you wouldn’t want to be there for work and have to work off a laptop, very weak sometimes no existent connection

Very clean and we were surprised by the quality of the fittings in this 'older' motel. Beds were very comfortable. Late check in communications were excellent and greatly appreciated.

Very loud construction noise (next door?) from 7 am. We were very tired and needed a sleep-in which was impossible.

Very friendly and helpful hosts gave me a warm welcome.Close to bars, Restaurants, shops and the beach is just 5-10 min walk away.Bus stop to downtown Auckland close and it takes just 20 min to get there.Good WiFi, very clean room and bathroom.
