This was an excellent stay right from when we arrived to a lovely warm room as staff had turned the heater on. Perfect location and friendly, helpful staff. Room was great. Real milk (x2) and lots of hot chocolates. Locking bathroom door and extra toilet paper, big soft towels and a dark blue face cloth. Shower pressure was awesome and a great extraction fan and a window which kept the decent sized mirror fog free and no condensation. Comfy bed with a choice of soft and firm pillows and plugs on both sides. It's the little things that really count and this place ticked all the boxes. Definitely stay here again...thank you 🙂

Host was really good & approachable. Location was perfect as our Son, his wife & new son live in a small flat 15minutes walk away. While our apartments decor was extremely dated & past its use by date, the unit was comfortable & warm. Fresh towels everyday is a lovely touch. We plan to use this motel when we visit again & we will be recommending to the wider family as well.

Decor was very tired, grout in bathroom around shower going mouldy. Kitchen facilities were below par for a motel. Having to do your own dishes, while not a real issue, it's something I've never come across before.

- We arrived early yet the room was ready for us. - Reception staff went out of their way to help us and always friendly and smiling. - Helpful eg. our bags hadn't arrived on the same flight. They were delivered to the motel office late (after when they should have been shut) that evening and staff contacted us immediately - thank you! - Comfortable, clean and tidy motel. - Ample parking

-Although there were pots, frypan and cooking utensils in the unit, there was no hotplate in the kitchenette to make use of them. We made do with the microwave over the days we stayed. (Didn't want to ask as we felt we'd already pestered reception enough asking about local directions and suggestions). - Sadly the Netflix option was out of action. We understand this was being looked into.

I really liked the water pressure in the shower, the comfortable bed with lovely sheets and the efficiency of the heating. It was also really nice to be given milk and to have lots of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to choose from. The location was also perfect for me as just an easy 25 minute walk to Nga Puna Wai.

Clean and very close to bus stops, in and out of CBD AND had a free shuttle to and from the Transalpine Railway Station. The latter is the major reason we chose this motel. Also. has a great takeaway shop - fish and chips and Hawaiian Burger were GREAT and well-priced, one kilometre’s walk towards Addington Village.

The Best service and staff ever, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting good service and super friendly staff an not to mention, good facilities and lots of car parking area. Really loved our stay and would 100% be going back again.

Overall, it served our purpose, a cute little home to hang out in when we needed to, plenty of space when we had a few visitors.

The sofa bed was a little uncomfortable to sit on, but worked better lying down 🤗

Easy access location, nice shower and kitchen equipment. It would have been better if there's a standing fan as it was the hottest weekend when we were there, reaching 30C during the day and 21C at night. Very hot in the room but luckily many windows we can open to allow air flow. Great lounge space too.

No problems encountered, though the bathroom light cover fell down on me whilst I was in the bathroom.

Lovely to have a bath.Being elderly, a grab handle would have made it much easier and safer for us get in and out of it.Consequently we did not make full use of it.

Location was great and the staff were very friendly, especially the cat in reception

Flickering light bulbs, half of them missing, and the shower walls need a rub down, otherwise fantastic. We will be going back, even if I have to take my own light bulbs
