Owner very welcoming. Location was great for purpose we were there for. Units were clean and tidy.. Plenty of milk pods. Bed was comfy. Great idea having complimentary ear plugs as was alot of traffic noise & also being on bottom floor and having people above.

Location was great, room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean. We only stayed for one night so difficult to give a full review but we were very satisfied overall. Also I had a couple of queries that I messaged the motel about and they were extremely prompt and professional at getting back to me which is always a big customer service plus in my opinion!

It was noisy with traffic but as the motel is located on the main road, this was to be expected. However it did not disturb our sleep. Bathroom was a little dated with nowhere to place clothing but we don't mind 'dated' as long as it's clean.

We really liked this place from the moment we arrived. Hostess Lena was friendly and helpful, the room was large and clean, with double beds in both a separate bedroom and the living room, yet still space for a comfortable lounge and dining table. Kitchenette was well set up and had everything we needed. On-site parking and a wonderful location, accessed without having to negotiate city traffic and if you're happy to walk a kilometre or so through the Botanic Gardens into the CBD. All in all, great value for money.

Bathroom wasn't the biggest but really, with everything else we got, that's a very small minus.

Lena and Peter our lovely Hosts were very helpful and very friendly. They do a complimentary shuttle to and from the train station for guests doing the Tranz Alpine trip. Very appreciated. Beds were so very comfortable. Netflix is a TV option that we made good use of. Room was very clean and tidy. Situated straight across from Hagley Park which is a huge plus.

Not that its a negative reflection of our stay - our room was a little confined for 4 adults but we made it work. Would be a great space for a family with children.

Nice location, a pleasant 20 minute stroll through the lovely botanic gardens to the town centre. Parking available on site. Spacious, clean accommodation.

Sound proofing could have been better - it was a little noisy. Upper floor rooms might be better, but ours was pretty much next to the reception and we could clearly hear every case being wheeled back and forth, every conversation..there was also a lot of noise from the room upstairs. It wasn't terrible, though- I'd just recommend asking for an upper floor room.

It was complete with everything that you need if ever you wanted to cook food. Netfilx is a bonus. The property is also clean and they would do housekeeping everyday. They were also very nice to let us keep our luggages for a while after we checked out as we need to go somewhere for a few hours before our flight.

The internet connection is quite slow at times. We’ve also noticed they dont top up coffee, sugars, milk or choco powder unless you requested from the reception but it is not a big deal. And you need to carry your luggages to 2nd floor if your room is there as there are no lifts.

The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, communicating with us months in advance and helping us prepare an earlier room check-in to allow us some rest after our overnight flight. She also recommended popular local events, such as the Christmas in the Park show. The accomodation itself is close to many popular destinations in Christchurch such as Hagley Park, the Botanic Gardens and Canterbury museum.

It was easy to locate and park at. It had everything we needed for a short stay and it was clean. The owners were amazing and had the room heated for us on arrival and the baby cot set up ready to go. Thank you so much.

A little unfortunate with the location and the boy racers (not the property’s fault) it was just a bit loud but we were so tired it didn’t matter.

The attention to detail in my room was amazing. Everything you could possibly need and more where present. I am truly fussy when it comes to bed comfort but their bed was super comfortable. The room was super spacious with a sitting area with couch chairs and table, Netflix.

Great location, very friendly and helpful host. This is an older motel but all facilities were very adequate. A real bonus was the free transport to the station for the TransAlpine journey. Definitely recommend.
