Location was great- not far from city and bus stop right outside. The unit was very clean, well equipped, shower good and the bed was very comfortable. Lovely friendly, helpful owners and staff. Very private unit with water feature off the patio, easy parking and although it’s on a busy road it was very quiet.

Servicing of the unit was not as good as expected. I had said not to worry about it for the first couple of days but because I was staying for a week I did expect it to be done after that without me having to ask for fresh towels etc. However, everything was replenished when I asked the cleaner. Lots of leaves covering the patio which could have been swept off.

The photos didn't lie, it was beautiful and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the courage was the perfect size for us. We only met the host once who was very friendly. Loved the atmosphere amongst the greenery. Would recommend for a getaway for visitors and even for those who call Christchurch home.

It was too short a stay for us. It's on a busy road and if you're coming in at rush hour, like we did, expect delays. But once we were in we forgot we were on a main road.

Great cottages - loved the privacy and cuteness of the spaces. Very comfortable and clean. Good value for money and a place we would likely book to stay in again. Really great for the family or just as a couple. We are a family of four with two teens. They stayed in one unit and we were right there in another - allowing us all a bit of space but also the nearness for a feeling of safety. Really friendly owners and helpful too. Thank You!

The WIFI struggled at times, but likely due to weather conditions. Not much of an issue.

The very private setting that the cottage offered made for a relaxing time. I especially enjoyed having a morning coffee on the covered deck. The room with queen bed, sofa and full kitchen just offers options for eating in and not having to rush off to get a kick-start coffee. Very clean and cosy.

There is a bit of traffic noise near this cottage so maybe ask for one over if you need to.

We stayed in one of the well appointed cottages.A lovely quiet location,handy to supermarkets, restaurants and petrol stations.The cottages are very private,and look out into a native tree setting,much nicer than looking at a car park.

The staff were very approachable,but the servicing of our cottage was a hit or miss affair at times.Prehaps a staff shortage?.

Beautifully decorated and presented cottage, we had no 8 which was tucked away in the corner away from street noise, it was lovely and quiet. Compact kitchen but had everything we needed for a weeks stay. Large wall mounted tv with lots of sporting channels supplied free. Bed was huge and very comfortable, shower room with good water pressure, separate laundry area and allocated parking. Highly recommend.

Only minor issue was the free wifi kept dropping out or possibly didn't reach our corner so well. 🤷

The owner saw that we were waiting for a taxi, so offered to drop us off at where we needed to be! Was super nice of him! Clean facilities everything you need for a night or multiple nights! And also had a little friend visit our unit, their pet cat. Will definitely be back again, great price, and you get your own private deck.

Great place to stay for a few weeks. My cottage was very private with a nice patio and great cooking set up. Great location near busses, supermarket and eateries. They accomodated my early check in after a long international flight. I would certainly stay again.

It was all very good, no complaints.

The room location and the cat. It kept hanging around for patting . Plus, the hedgehog was a character when it came out from under the deck. Didn't mind humans at all.

The table chairs were wobbly and seemed like they were going to give out any second.

The bed was very confortable, the staff really friendly, always with the smile on their face, coffee and tea on self service, nice fountain in front of our room. Quiet.

The WiFi didn't work always, we had to paid twice at first because of a misunderstanding of the receptionist. But they gave back our money pretty fast
